“Repeat! A dragon has appeared near the southern city wall! Everyone evacuate immediately!”
As soon as the message reached her ears, Li Yin was struck dumb.
It couldn’t be Li Luo, could it?
Her heart suddenly filled with anxiety.
She hastily pocketed the gem and dashed outside, her eyes locking onto the city wall to the south.
Sure enough, a dragon was there.
But it was black.
And it was a full circle larger than Li Luo.
Li Yin let out a sigh of relief.
“…”
‘Wait… why do I even care about her?’ she thought, stomping her foot.
The stone pavement cracked beneath her.
A stout man who had been frantically running out of a pawnshop was startled by the scene, quickly vanishing into a nearby alley.
Though Li Yin no longer had her male body, her strength had not diminished—in fact, it had increased.
The passive abilities she had gained upon being summoned were still with her.
So why was there a dragon here?
She had heard from Li Luo that she wasn’t the only dragon in the world, but who would have guessed there would be another one so close by?
The black dragon stood atop the city wall, looking around as if searching for something.
Li Yin didn’t want to get involved.
She wasn’t sure she could fight a dragon now—at least not against Li Luo, but Li Luo wouldn’t fight back anyway.
She had only come to eat.
She didn’t want trouble to find her.
Time to scram.
Turning around, she headed away from the black dragon.
She felt incredibly unlucky—every misfortune that had befallen her was somehow related to dragons.
First she lost her chastity, and now even a simple meal trip was proving difficult.
Just as Li Yin was leaving, the black dragon seemed to lock onto its target.
It suddenly flapped its enormous wings and took off, stirring up clouds of dust that not only blocked the view of the soldiers below but also choked them.
Tiles flew off many rooftops from the powerful gust.
Hearing the sharp sound of wind tearing through the air behind her, Li Yin turned her head—only to see a dragon claw filling her vision.
“Huh!?” she cried out in fright.
And then she was grabbed.
Poor Li Yin.
She never imagined she would be snatched by a dragon in the same area twice.
And now her stomach was protesting.
“Growl ~~~”
The black dragon flew out of the city to a desolate wilderness.
After landing, it gently set down the person in its claws.
Li Yin had already resigned herself to whatever fate awaited her, but this turn of events left her confused.
“What do you want!”
Maybe it was hunger that triggered her temper, or perhaps a reckless courage born from desperation—she suddenly shouted at the black dragon.
The next second, the creature transformed into a…
Uh…
A shota?
Li Yin stared in silence as the massive being shrank into a black-haired boy no taller than herself.
‘Where did that giant dragon go?’
‘How can it just disappear like that?’
‘So you all like to act young, huh?!’
“Big sis, this is this time’s tribute.”
The boy produced a pile of sparkling gems and gold coins from who knows where, stacking them into a small hill in front of Li Yin.
She stood there, dumbfounded.
‘Big sis?’
‘Tribute?’
‘What is he talking about?’
‘Did he mistake me for someone else?’
“By the way, big sis, next time don’t go to human territory on tribute day.”
“You changed your appearance and hid your aura so deeply—I had a hard time finding you.”
The boy sighed helplessly.
Only then did Li Yin realize: he had definitely mistaken her for Li Luo!
All because of that, she was starving to death!
She had just given birth not long ago, her body was still weak, and now this!
Unacceptable!
Li Yin decided to ride on Li Luo’s reputation and punish this guy.
Even if he looked cute, that didn’t mean she would go easy on him.
With that thought, she waved her hand and swept all the so-called tribute into her possession.
Under the boy’s bewildered gaze, Li Yin acted.
She grabbed him and flipped him over in her arms.
“Big sis, what are you doing!?”
The boy’s face was full of panic, until she grabbed his dragon tail.
“Ow!”
“That hurts!”
“Big sis, why are you spanking me!?”
“No!”
Watching the tears still lingering at the corners of the boy’s eyes, Li Yin squeezed her fist with satisfaction.
She even wanted to do it a few more times—the sensation was quite nice.
At that moment, a cold wind seemed to pass through the boy, making him shiver involuntarily.
As a dragon, he shouldn’t feel cold so easily…
“By the way, what’s your name?”
“I forgot.”
“…”
The boy was silent for a moment.
“Big sis… are you doing this on purpose?”
“Are you going to tell me or not?”
“I’ll tell!”
“I’ll tell!”
“My name is Gong… Gong… Gong Laji!”
In the end, he resigned to his fate.
“Pfft!”
“Hahahaha—”
Li Yin laughed, clutching her stomach.
She never expected his name to be so ridiculous.
“Big sis, you really are doing this on purpose!”
Seeing her laugh at him, Gong Laji felt like crying but had no way out.
After all, his name was truly strange.
“Alright, alright.”
“If there’s nothing else, you can go now.”
“You bully me and then kick me out!”
“Hmph!”
With that, he turned back into the black dragon and flew away.
Watching the distant figure, Li Yin felt she had forgotten something, but couldn’t recall what.
Until a strong wind swept across the grassland, and she looked around, finally realizing.
She had forgotten to ask Gong Laji to take her back!
…
“So you were just left there, honey?”
“That’s so silly.”
“I’m not silly!”
“Alright, not silly.”
“But it turns out today was their tribute day—I forgot.”
“You forgot too!”
“Looks like you’re the silly one!”
Riding on the silver dragon’s back, her long hair flapping in the wind, Li Yin felt she had suffered too much.
All she wanted now was to return to the dragon’s nest.
Only those two dragon eggs could warm her heart.
As for Li Luo… forget it.
Back at the nest, Li Yin was still starving.
She was so hungry her chest felt flat.
“I’ll go pick some fruit,” Li Luo said before flying off.
Li Yin approached the two dragon eggs and carefully hugged them to her chest.
“You two are the best…”
She rested her head on the eggs, talking to herself.
Sleepiness gradually crept in, clouding her consciousness, and her vision blurred as she sank into darkness.
The setting sun dyed the sky red.
A silver dragon, gleaming with golden light in the afterglow, flew back to its lair.
“Honey, I’m back…”
Like a machine suddenly cut off, Li Luo’s voice stopped mid-sentence.
It was because she saw Li Yin sleeping on top of the two dragon eggs.
Her brows slightly furrowed, a few drops of drool at the corner of her mouth.
Seeing her beloved asleep, Li Luo slowed down every movement, afraid of waking her.
In the twilight glow, a few stars were already twinkling in the sky, their rhythmic flickering syncing with the sleeping woman’s breaths.
Li Luo silently moved closer and lay down, carefully wrapping her tail around Li Yin and the two eggs.
Using her head, she nudged the small body resting on the eggs, allowing her to lie down properly, and offered part of her own body as a pillow.
After doing that, Li Luo slowly lowered her wings to serve as a blanket, enveloping Li Yin and the eggs.
Seeing that her face remained peaceful, Li Luo let out a sigh of relief.
Everything beside her now was her most precious treasure.
A gentle breeze blew, and the leaves rustled a soft melody, like a feather tickling Li Luo’s heart.
Before she knew it, the moon had climbed high into the sky, casting its holy, gentle light over the massive silver figure.
Meanwhile, in her sleep, Li Yin smiled faintly for some reason.
“Good night, Yin yin~”
Li Luo tried using that nickname again.
After all, her wife only ever refrained from protesting when she was like this~
