“Is that all?”
“Yeah…”
Looking at the pile of objects on the table before her, Qianwei felt speechless.
Since she needed to proceed with step two of the plan, she had asked Hongye if there were any strange potions or torture implements available.
She was then teleported into the prison room of the Flame Serpent clan.
Unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment!
Apart from the standard restraint tools, whips, and boards, there was nothing else. The potions were only for increasing pain or waking up unconscious prisoners.
“Are you demon clans a bit too gentle?”
“Well, it’s not like we usually do any interrogations; this place is actually for punishing children who misbehave.”
“Then what about capturing enemies from other tribes?”
“Isn’t this enough?”
“…”
She was showing off her weapon… but it had to be said, thinking about what it was used for, it was indeed quite terrifying.
Watching Hongye’s hand — obviously two sizes larger than her own — Qianwei’s mind conjured up terrible images.
For the little ones of the Hidden Eagle clan, if the Flame Serpent clan with an average height of two meters were the attackers, they could easily make them cry.
But that alone wasn’t enough!
Because she had already lifted the hypnotic control, to proceed with step two and dominate those two again, she had to strike hard!
To that end, some magical gadgets were necessary.
“I’ll draw some blueprints, and you find someone to make similar things for me…”
“As long as they’re just ordinary tools, no problem.”
Hongye nodded, having no objections, and soon teleported away, returning with a pile of paper and pens.
Qianwei quickly utilized the knowledge she had gained from browsing various questionable websites and lurking in strange groups.
She drew one after another: oversized syringes, giant vibrating rods, elongated clamps for examinations, oddly shaped restraints, super-sized rocking horses — simple yet practical little gadgets.
Hongye, who was observing, opened her mouth as if to speak but stopped.
Qianwei handed over the completed blueprints, a satisfied look on her face, and asked, “About how long will it take to make them?”
“Making all of them might take a while — after all, our Rock Serpent clan isn’t a creation-type clan. The simple ones will be faster. I’ll have them send each one over as they’re finished?”
“Great~”
After the preliminary preparations were nearly complete, Hongye brought Qianwei back to her own room.
Even though she had experienced several spatial jumps, the drastic change in environment still made Qianwei’s breath catch.
Under the dim lighting, waves of hot air rolled, and a pungent, complex fragrance hit her as if she had swallowed a jar of honey directly into her throat.
She coughed lightly involuntarily, then let out a deep breath before recovering slightly.
Glancing around, Qianwei found that this room was completely different from hers and Qiuyue Han’s — hot and stuffy, with extremely wild furnishings.
Apart from a few large luminous pearls, the whole room was dominated by dark red tones.
Even more exaggerated, one corner of the room actually had a lava pool…
“Hiss… If this were Earth, I’d be poisoned within moments and die…”
Thankfully, after being transformed by this world’s rules and having awakened, her body had high resistance!
“Earth? Is it your homeland, Qianwei?”
“Mm… Where are those two?”
Qianwei nodded lightly. Given the attitude toward otherworlders in this world, she didn’t intend to dwell on the subject and averted her eyes.
“Inside~”
Hongye didn’t press further, pointing to a stone wall that served as a partition screen. As she spoke, she walked around the wall.
After mentally preparing herself and convincing herself that she had no interest in the flat little girls, Qianwei followed.
A circular bed, like a giant cushion, was covered with a thick blanket that seemed to be fur. The whole thing was sunken, and she couldn’t see any pillows, oddly reminding her of the cat bed she had bought for her cat.
In the center of the bed, two tiny girls were tied together, their backs facing her, looking even smaller against the massive bed.
Hmm… Were they tied together as a pillow?
As she mused, the two little ones, hearing footsteps, wriggled and struggled to lift their eyes, glaring at her angrily.
Seeing this, Qianwei couldn’t help but comment, “Their spirits are so high? I thought they’d at least be unconscious…”
And there wasn’t a single scratch on them!
“Um…”
Hongye realized Qianwei was criticizing her for being too gentle with the enemies and let out an awkward mumble.
Then she walked over, dragged the tied-up duo off the bed, untied the rope, and hung them from the ceiling like drying racks, then removed the cloth gagging their mouths.
“Damn human! How dare you use such despicable methods as mind control on us? I’ll make you pay!!”
Bai roared, her eyes practically shooting fire.
Meanwhile, the little brat Buqi looked slightly different — a mix of gloom and anger, but with some hesitation.
Qianwei raised an eyebrow slightly, looking puzzled. “You sneaked in, plundered, and kidnapped people — those are also despicable methods. You can’t allow others to be even more despicable?”
“We honestly used our own strength to ambush you!”
“Tsk~ What kind of logic is that? Is that the bark of a loser? Don’t your demon clans say you submit to the strong? Call me master, and maybe I’ll consider letting you go.”
As she spoke, Qianwei stepped forward, examining the demon clan features of the two little ones.
Besides the obvious fur on their ears, what distinguished them from humans were two oval, very short fluffy spots on their shoulders and a small cluster of long tail feathers.
“You’re not strong! You lowly inferior creature, you want me to call you mast—OW!!”
Before she could finish, Bai felt a sharp pain in her tail, screamed, and then stared blankly at the cluster of feathers Qianwei had plucked.
“It comes off so easily?”
Qianwei was startled. Hearing the little girl’s foul language, she had angrily planned to tug her tail, but didn’t expect the feather to fall off so easily.
Hmm… bird feathers can be replaced. Many ordinary birds’ tail feathers grow back after a few months if lost to a predator?
Besides, since it came off so easily, it shouldn’t be irreversible damage. At worst, she’d waste a little healing potion.
After many thoughts flashed through her mind, and since she was here to torture and bully the two little ones, Qianwei quickly suppressed her surprise and revealed a sly smile.
“Heh~ This feather can be put to good use.”
Tickling soles, and so on…
“You dare pluck my tail feathers?! I’ll lock you in my bug jar and feed you to them!”
“Hmm… You’re the princess of the Hidden Eagle clan, right? Seems like you don’t understand the situation. You don’t really think you’ll ever get back, do you~”
