‘Mona?’

Kristine’s brow furrowed.

‘Isn’t that my mother’s name?’

‘How is it registered here?’

‘She told me this morning that she was going to a prayer meeting at the church with a few friends. How could she…’

“All of you, back off! Don’t use magic on it!”

Hearing this, Kristine and Jianye retreated down the corridor without hesitation.

And Irena, who was held tightly in Black’s arms, was now even more bewildered.
