Chapter 22: Day 22

“I cannot accept this!”

Eight key executives of the Black Mountain Sect responded to Black Bear’s summons.

One of them burst out, unable to hide his anger.

Black Bear looked at the executive who dared to raise his voice in front of him.

A young man with a balanced body.

He carried two long swords on his back, and a deep scar was etched on one of his eyes. In Zuhang, he was also known by the nickname of One-Eyed Twin Swords.

“What’s your problem?”

“Not only is it suspicious that Tyrant Blade suddenly entered closed-door training, but you’re also putting an unknown little girl as his representative? How can I believe that!”

“Hah, so? What are you going to do if you don’t believe it?”

At Black Bear’s words, looking at him with cold eyes, One-Eyed Twin Swords let out a groan and flinched.

Although he was one of the executives of the Black Mountain Sect, his opponent was Black Bear.

Except for Tyrant Blade, he was the strongest expert in the Black Mountain Sect, and a martial artist who showed the miraculous skill of splitting a boulder the size of a house with his great strength.

Furthermore, if Tyrant Blade was the Sect Leader of the Black Mountain Sect, Black Bear was like the Deputy Sect Leader of the Black Mountain Sect.

Although the position of Deputy Sect Leader did not exist within the Black Mountain Sect, all the martial artists belonging to the Black Mountain Sect followed him as the real second-in-command.

One-Eyed Twin Swords couldn’t say anything more at Black Bear’s cold gaze, and just frowned and sat down.

Black Bear let out a deep sigh inwardly.

The reason he was stepping in to mediate the situation was to save their lives, but they were acting so recklessly without knowing that.

The problem was that it wasn’t just One-Eyed Twin Swords, that ignorant fool, who had such complaints.

The other executives, although they didn’t show it as openly as One-Eyed Twin Swords, also had expressions full of dissatisfaction.

Well, from the beginning, they were ignorant people who couldn’t even glimpse the truth of how the current situation was unfolding.

No, no.

From the beginning, Black Bear just wanted to run away, no matter what happened to their lives.

After all, the Black Mountain Sect was a group formed by all kinds of punks, just like other dark sects.

Although Tyrant Blade’s martial arts were somewhat useful, compared to the numerous martial artists on the continent, he would be lucky if he was considered second-rate.

Tyrant Blade, One-Eyed Twin Swords.

The nicknames they called themselves were just empty bravado, a kind of bluff.

He wasn’t some kind of saint.

Why should he risk his life for such trash?

‘If you think about it that way, I’m just trash like them.’

Black Bear let out a deep sigh inwardly.

Was he finally paying for the karma of exploiting the weak and sucking their blood for a lifetime?

So, Black Bear was thinking about how to deal with this situation.

He was having various thoughts.

“You seem to have a lot of complaints.”

At the sound of the girl, Cheon Seo Ah’s voice from behind, Black Bear’s body flinched.

When did she come in?

No, more than that, how did she come in?

No, no, no, more than that, how did she know that a meeting was taking place here?

He hadn’t yet reported to Cheon Seo Ah that the executives had gathered.

But how did Cheon Seo Ah know that all the executives of the Black Mountain Sect were gathered here and appear?

Indeed.

‘A monster is a monster.’

Both suddenly appearing behind him, avoiding everyone’s eyes.

And figuring out that all the executives were gathered here for a meeting.

If you thought of the opponent as a monster, it was a situation that could be sufficiently understood.

Meanwhile, the executives of the Black Mountain Sect were surprised by the sudden appearance of the girl behind Black Bear.

Her black hair that reached her waist was like silk.

Her eyes made it seem as if a black abyss was dwelling in them.

The clothes she was wearing were somewhat worn, but it was evident that they were made of high-quality fabric.

Finally, although it was a pity that she was somewhat young, her outstanding beauty was sure to move the hearts of many men in a few years.

At that moment, in the eyes of some of the executives looking at the girl, along with ‘surprise’ and ‘question’, the emotion of ‘lust’ arose.

“You seem to have a lot of complaints about me becoming the owner of the Black Mountain Sect.”

Cheon Seo Ah said again, scanning the faces of the eight executives.

Some of the executives who met Cheon Seo Ah’s eyes trembled at the rising, inexplicable fear, but the other executives still did not hide their challenging eyes filled with dissatisfaction.

Among them, the one who reacted most intensely was, of course.

“Fck! Black Bear, you bastard! You! You’re trying to get rid of Tyrant Blade and put that b*tch as a proxy to swallow the Black Mountain Sect!”

Unable to hold back any longer, One-Eyed Twin Swords shouted, drawing the two swords on his back.

One aimed at the girl.

One aimed at Black Bear, One-Eyed Twin Swords shouted.

Black Bear also drew the sword at his waist to respond.

If Cheon Seo Ah hadn’t stepped in.

“You. And you, you, and you.”

Starting with One-Eyed Twin Swords, Cheon Seo Ah pointed to a total of four executives.

At Cheon Seo Ah’s sudden pointing, they frowned.

It was as if they were saying, ‘What is this b*tch saying?’

“You guys are useless. Just become ‘ingredients’.”

Ingredients? What ingredients?

They were tilting their heads, not understanding the words Cheon Seo Ah had spoken.

Crack!

Aaaaaaaagh!

In the blink of an eye, Cheon Seo Ah disappeared from their sight.

At the same time, along with the terrible sound of something breaking, screams erupted from the mouths of the four executives that Cheon Seo Ah had pointed out.

All four executives who were screaming were rolling on the ground, and their legs were completely smashed.

Knees bent at impossible angles, and broken bones protruded through the flesh.

Although it was not a fatal wound, it was a wound that even the most skilled doctor could not heal.

Although they were third-rate, they had learned martial arts and lived as martial artists, but now they were not martial artists. They had become cripples who could not walk on their own legs for the rest of their lives.

Cheon Seo Ah moved her gaze from the four bugs writhing on the ground to Black Bear.

“Take these to the ‘basement’.”

“T, the basement, you mean?”

“Why? Don’t you want to?”

“N, no! Absolutely not!”

At the word basement that came out of Cheon Seo Ah’s mouth, Black Bear shouted as if having a seizure.

At that, the other four unharmed executives finally understood the situation.

From the beginning, it wasn’t that Black Bear had betrayed Tyrant Blade and set up a girl as a proxy to devour the Black Mountain Sect.

The culprit who caused all this was the unknown expert in the guise of a girl.

Black Bear was just a victim who was caught up in the situation first.

But.

‘Where the hell did such an expert come from!’

They couldn’t understand.

An unknown expert in the guise of a girl.

With such an appearance and such strength, her existence should have been known in Zuhang long ago.

Where had she been hiding and suddenly appeared to oppress them!

The Black Mountain Sect may call itself a dark sect and exert some influence in the back alleys.

But they were just a group of punks made up of third-rate martial artists at best.

An expert of that level could have easily been recruited by the representative Paegeummun of Zuhang, even if they had to bow their stiff necks!

The four surviving executives thought so, looking at the back of Cheon Seo Ah, who was walking behind them, following the backs of those who were once executives of the Black Mountain Sect, just like them, with their legs smashed and being dragged by Black Bear’s hands.

Thud, thud.

A basement that could be entered through a room once used by Tyrant Blade.

The expression of Black Bear, heading to the place where Tyrant Blade’s wealth should have been piled up, was infinitely dark.

And for good reason.

‘Ugh-!’

The moment he arrived at the basement, Black Bear suppressed the rising nausea.

On one wall of the basement, the terrible corpse of Tyrant Blade with its lower body completely melted was hung.

And on the floor of the basement, there were messy drawings of unknown figures drawn with the blood drawn from Tyrant Blade’s corpse.

The four executives, who had their legs completely smashed and were dragged to the basement by Black Bear, opened their eyes wide, forgetting their pain at the sight of Tyrant Blade’s death.

Tyrant Blade. The one who could be called the strongest expert of the Black Mountain Sect, that Tyrant Blade, died in such a miserable state, which was enough to shock them.

They also didn’t think that the reason Tyrant Blade had disappeared was really because of closed-door training.

But they also couldn’t deny the fact that they never dreamed that Tyrant Blade would be left dead in such a miserable state.

“Aaaaaaaagh-!”

“S, save me!”

“I was wrong! I was wrong!”

“Please spare my life!”

Could it be because of the fear that they might die in such a terrible way?

Starting with One-Eyed Twin Swords, the other three executives also screamed and begged Cheon Seo Ah for their lives.

At that, Cheon Seo Ah.

“Noisy.”

She frowned as if annoyed by the screams and pleas of the four executives that filled the basement and flicked her fingers.

Gurgle-!

Four black sword lights shot from the flicked fingers, neatly cutting the vocal cords and tongues of the four screaming bugs.

The four executives, whose vocal cords and tongues were cut off, constantly coughed up red blood from their mouths and couldn’t even scream properly.

“Good work. You can go back now.”

“I understand.”

Cheon Seo Ah waved her hand.

At that clear dismissal order, Black Bear answered with a stiff expression and left the basement.

So, Black Bear, who barely moved one step at a time.

Gurgle-!

Gag!

Gurgle-!

Even though their vocal cords and tongues were cut off, they were making sounds of pain and despair, and he trembled, vowing that he would never end up like that. He made that vow over and over again.

Meanwhile, Cheon Seo Ah, who was left in the basement with the four ‘ingredients’.

“It will take some time, but you never know.”

Starting with these four ingredients, she was thinking of making a new Thousand Spirit Corpse Poison Pill.
