【Holy sht sht sh*t, who the hell is this?! Is this some overpowered player smurfing a newbie account just to wipe out weaklings before deleting?!】
【Wait, wait—when did she even appear? The drone that was tracking this team didn’t record her at all!】
【She looks so familiar… I feel like I’ve seen her somewhere…】
【Aaaaah isn’t she that insane full-score genius from the school forum when term just started?!】
【She’s so fast! Does she have cheetah DNA in her fusion?】
The livestream chatroom practically exploded.
Inside the first-floor lobby, the scene mirrored what had happened earlier.
Same location.
Same setup.
Same ending.
The girl leading the allied team panted hard, forcing her exhausted body to stay upright.
Around her lay the scattered bodies of her companions—most of them already collapsed.
“…When… did you… ngh!”
She gritted her teeth, eyes wide, and stumbled backward to dodge the wooden stick that came slicing through the air like a cloud-piercing blade.
Cold sweat dripped down her face.
If she didn’t have gazelle and horned rabbit bloodline fusions, which gave her early danger perception and fast reflexes, that strike might have severed her arm right then and there.
The attacker had looked so casual, her movement so light and effortless—yet her blow had been swift, ruthless, and absolutely lethal.
The girl struggled to lift her head and look at her opponent.
The person standing in front of her looked completely at ease, almost… bored?
Glass An glanced down at her hand.
Her issued starter weapon—a wooden stick—had already been thrown away earlier, leaving her palm empty.
For some reason, even though it had been a one-sided, skillless massacre—pure brute domination—
Her heart rate had suddenly gone irregular just a few minutes ago.
Her heartbeat sped up for no clear reason.
There was a dull weight in her chest.
…Like something very important had gone missing.
【What’s going on… Why does the queen’s expression suddenly look so scary?】
【That girl passed out! Where’s the emergency crew?! Somebody help!】
【Is she contacting someone? Is this part of a plan?!】
The sun had begun to set.
On the school’s ranking leaderboard, the names of the third and seventh place classes vanished quietly.
The previously stagnant Class A suddenly shot up to second place.
On the territory map, all of Classes D and E’s zones were wiped out.
But Wang Ning couldn’t see any of this.
Her communicator had been forcibly removed.
The terminal on her wrist seemed broken, unable to send any emergency signal.
“You… let go of me!”
She struggled to break free, but the slender hands gripping her restrained her effortlessly.
Behind her, a body with a chillingly low temperature pressed close, like frozen cotton candy against her back.
“My, so this is our target?”
“So weak~”
Standing just a step away in front of Wang Ning was a girl with dark teal curly hair.
She wore twin tails, her left eye hidden beneath her long fringe.
The one visible violet eye blinked without moving, fixated on Wang Ning.
Her candy-pink lips seemed dusted with gold glitter, exuding a refined gothic charm.
She tilted her head, chin pinched thoughtfully between two fingers.
Then she suddenly leaned close, carefully studying Wang Ning’s face.
“Hmm, well, she’s pretty cute at least.”
Wang Ning tried desperately to lean back, trying to distance herself from that face—
Only for the back of her head to bump into the chin of the girl behind her.
Hot breath puffed gently against her cheek.
Help… HELP!
Now the literal “cream” in an ice cream sandwich, Wang Ning’s mood couldn’t be worse.
Even worse—she didn’t even have the strength to be a crumb.
She swore.
If she could get out of this alive, she would train her body hard!
She would never again call Siao’s workouts “hellish”!
The girl behind her finally spoke, voice cold and calm.
“Stop staring, Lin Yue.”
“It’s time to go.”
“The jammer’s interference will be discovered soon. Our coordinates will be exposed.”
Lin Yue didn’t object.
She tilted her head, thinking for two seconds, then suddenly opened her arms excitedly and beamed at the girl holding Wang Ning.
“Sis~ Let me carry her~ I’ll be super careful—like treating a doll!”
Wang Ning felt the body behind her pause.
Then that same cold voice responded flatly.
“The organization’s orders are to return the target unharmed.”
“She’s not your toy.”
Lin Yue stared at her twin sister.
The smile on her face vanished.
Her voice turned sharp and irritated.
“You want to be the organization’s lapdog? Fine.”
“But don’t drag me down with you.”
“Lin Dong.”
