What about children’s books?

Chapter 221,191 words10 min read

After a fierce and satisfying battle, Ledea lay on the bed contentedly.

Lily curled up with tearful eyes, turning her back to Ledea.

The bed was very small, only enough for one person.

To avoid falling off, Lily had to stay close to Ledea, feeling her body heat, which she found especially unpleasant.

In short, Lily had been thoroughly humiliated.

She had wanted to seduce Ledea, but Ledea always remained calm and in control, holding the dominant position, while Lily was just the defeated one, forced to accept the situation.

It was all because of that shameful outfit.

Once she put it on, Lily felt unbearably embarrassed, desperately trying to cover herself, which gave Ledea the perfect chance.

“Heh, looks like you’ve finally learned your lesson,” Ledea mocked with a sneer.

“So? Do you still dare resist me? Weren’t you the one who liked trampling on my dignity?”

Lily said nothing.

She didn’t want to cry out loud, so she silently wiped her tears with the back of her hand.

“What’s wrong? Did I make you so speechless you can’t even talk?”

Lily still said nothing, though her shoulders trembled slightly.

Ledea felt a bit guilty, even thinking maybe she had gone too far.

So she pulled Lily into her arms in what seemed like consolation.

Lily’s body shook as she felt Ledea’s warmth pressed against her.

“Lily, you were really great just now. I’m happy.”

“Ugh!” Lily’s face flushed red.

“What are you saying such embarrassing things for? It wasn’t you who pushed me down… no, who took the initiative with me!”

“Wasn’t that your goal, though? To make me fall head over heels?”

“You!” Lily pouted unhappily.

“Y-yeah, that was my goal!”

“Then you’ve succeeded, haven’t you?” Ledea laughed.

“Even if I don’t have feelings for you, your body can still completely satisfy me.”

“Don’t say it in such a pervy way!”

Lily grabbed Ledea’s hand and pushed it away, stopping her from holding her waist.

But strangely, hearing Ledea’s sweet words made Lily feel a little better, especially that line — “You were really great just now. I’m happy.”

She didn’t know why, but it felt as if something inside her heart had been filled.

Lily instinctively felt that if she kept thinking about it, it would be dangerous.

She might unknowingly give in completely — not just her body, but her heart too.

So Lily pushed Ledea away.

Covering her embarrassed body, she stumbled off the bed, her steps unsteady because Ledea had been too rough.

Lily walked to the doorway, stopping in front of the pale blue barrier at the entrance of the cave.

Ledea sighed, lifted her hand, and the barrier disappeared.

Lily stuck her tongue out at Ledea, then ran away in a panic.

Only after reaching her own room did Lily consciously soften her footsteps, because their daughter was still asleep.

Although things had been intense earlier, the soundproofing magic ensured that none of her voice leaked out.

Uneasy, Lily glanced back.

Ledea hadn’t followed her.

So Lily went to the bathtub, activated the magic stone, and let hot water flow out.

As for the shameful outfit, Lily had to struggle for a while before finally managing to take it off.

Moments later, she carefully sat in the bathtub, scooping up hot water to pat onto her shoulders.

She didn’t want to leave Ledea’s scent on her.

Every time, Ledea would kiss her all over, which made Lily feel not only embarrassed but also disgusted.

Lily didn’t care about being peeped at by Ledea anymore — she had already done it countless times.

As long as she wasn’t wearing that shameful outfit, Lily didn’t care about standing bare in front of Ledea.

After all, she had already given birth.

What else was there to feel embarrassed about?

In the end, that shameful outfit was only an “initial strike.”

It only worked the first time.

Later, Lily would gradually get used to it, and then she wouldn’t show such a pathetic side anymore.

Lily even looked forward to the moment when Ledea would have no way to deal with her.

That would definitely hurt Ledea’s pride — and Ledea valued her pride more than anything.

After bathing, Lily dried herself with a soft towel.

She took cotton underwear from the wardrobe and put it on carefully, covering her delicate body.

With the protection of fabric, Lily finally felt at ease and safe.

She no longer needed to shyly cover herself with her hands.

Ledea also came out of her room, already dressed in a black dress, looking as imposing as ever.

But Lily turned her gaze away with a “hmph,” refusing to let her eyes linger.

The two of them said nothing, like a quarreling couple.

Lily sat by the bed, staring blankly at their daughter in the crib.

Ledea stood in the corner, arms crossed, watching Lily.

At that moment, Amy made a sleepy sound and opened her eyes curiously.

“Waa, Amy, did you sleep well?”

“Mmm…” Amy mumbled, “Lili Mama!”

“Yes, Mama’s here!”

What Amy actually meant was “Lily Mama,” but since she couldn’t pronounce it properly yet, it came out slurred.

Still, Lily understood her.

Hearing her daughter’s voice, Ledea perked up with excitement and leaned over eagerly.

Lily knew exactly what she was thinking — Ledea especially loved it when their daughter called her “Mama.”

Unfortunately, Amy was closer to Lily, and rarely called Ledea that.

But today, Amy seemed extra happy.

“Mama!” Amy stretched her chubby little hands toward Ledea.

“Yes, Ledea Mama is here too!” Ledea’s face lit up with joy.

If Lily and Ledea truly loved each other, this warm moment might have been like a scene from a painting.

But when their eyes met, both of them looked away at the same time, like two strangers keeping their distance.

“It’s about time to teach Amy to talk,” Lily said, holding out her hand to Ledea.

“The children’s books I asked you to buy — did you get them?”

Ledea froze, then her expression changed to sudden realization.

Lily frowned, sensing that something was off.

“Did you buy the children’s books?” Lily pressed.

“Didn’t you say it yourself? That such a trivial thing wouldn’t be difficult for a mighty dragon?”

“Uh, well…” Ledea averted her eyes.

“Don’t tell me there are no bookstores in the capital?”

“That’s right!” Ledea seized on the excuse.

“All the bookstores in the capital were closed, so I couldn’t buy the children’s books!”

“Who are you trying to fool? The capital is the empire’s main city. Even if one bookstore closed, there’s no way all of them did!”

“Uh, well…” Ledea broke into a cold sweat.

“I see,” Lily clenched her little fists angrily.

“You threw aside our daughter’s education and went to the capital just to buy that shameful outfit, didn’t you?”

“Uh…” Ledea was completely lost for words.

“Unbelievable!” Lily screamed hysterically.
