A Servant, A Secret, and a Night Out

Chapter 251,376 words12 min read

‘What is this…?’ Star Yu stood rooted to the spot, her eyes alight as they fixed upon Luo Yao, who was cowering in the corner behind Mu Yaochen.

Truth be told, Star Yu had never before encountered a boy of such striking beauty.

What’s more…

Star Yu had also heard whispers that Mu Yaochen had recently acquired a remarkably beautiful s*ave at a considerable price – no, a ‘s*x s*ave’ was the term, wasn’t it?

Could this be the one?

“This is a personal servant I acquired recently,” Mu Yaochen explained, her gaze falling upon Star Yu’s hand, which had involuntarily halted its motion. “I decided to bring him along today.” Her delicate brows furrowed almost imperceptibly.

Being a woman herself, Mu Yaochen had an all too clear understanding of Star Yu’s sudden pause.

“This… this is…” Star Yu stammered, her eyes wide with undisguised astonishment as she took in the exquisitely delicate Luo Yao. For a moment, she was utterly speechless, her gaze riveted to him, her mind already conjuring vivid fantasies of what Luo Yao’s intimate body might conceal.

Ah, yes… since he was Mu Yaochen’s ‘s*x s*ave’…

Surely, that woman hadn’t already claimed this boy’s first time, had she…? What a crushing disappointment…

“Let’s go,” Mu Yaochen urged, her voice edged with impatience. “What are you still staring at?” She was visibly annoyed by Star Yu’s persistent scrutiny of Luo Yao.

Mu Yaochen was intimately familiar with the workings of Star Yu’s mind.

Was it truly the case that for someone so consumed by lust, a handsome man existed solely for gratification?

“Oh… right,” Star Yu murmured, instantly snapping back to reality at Mu Yaochen’s pointed remark. “What should we do about him?”

“He’ll come along,” Mu Yaochen decided, casting a quick glance at Luo Yao. “I wouldn’t feel comfortable leaving him here by himself.”

Only when he was by her side could she truly feel at ease.

Otherwise, a moment of carelessness might see him sneaking off to fool around with that other woman again…

Such an inherently base creature.

“Oh, is that how it is… Very well, then, what’s his name?” Star Yu asked, her eyes irresistibly drawn back to Luo Yao.

A mere glimpse of Luo Yao moments ago had been enough to indelibly carve his exquisite features into Star Yu’s memory.

“Just call him Luo Yao,” Mu Yaochen stated, her voice firm. “Now, let’s really go.” Though deeply displeased by the lecherous glint in Star Yu’s eyes, she reminded herself that this was her close friend, leaving her with little recourse to voice her true feelings.

Had one of her own maids dared to cast such a look upon Luo Yao, Mu Yaochen would have summarily chopped them into pieces and fed them to the dogs.

“Hmm… Yaochen, there’s no need to rush,” Star Yu interjected, her attention now fully on Mu Yaochen. “Perhaps you should go change first. Your current attire isn’t quite… appropriate.” Indeed, Mu Yaochen’s fashionable dress was glaringly unsuitable for their intended destination.

“Is there an issue with what I’m wearing?” Mu Yaochen asked, a hint of confusion clouding her features.

It was supposed to be a ball, wasn’t it…? Shouldn’t she be dressed more formally?

At least, that’s what Star Yu had told her over the phone.

“Alright then…” Star Yu declared, sticking out her tongue playfully at Mu Yaochen’s utterly bewildered expression. “I have plenty of clothes. If you don’t mind, why don’t you come change with me?” With that, she took Mu Yaochen’s hand and led her further into the house.

Upon seeing Mu Yaochen preparing to depart, Luo Yao dutifully trailed close behind her.

“Wait for me here,” Mu Yaochen commanded, turning back to cast a stern glance at Luo Yao from the doorway, where Star Yu had already led her. “Do not wander off without my explicit permission. Understood?”

“Yes… understood,” Luo Yao replied, meeting Mu Yaochen’s unwavering gaze. He nodded once, then stood perfectly still, patiently awaiting her return.

“Um… Luo Yao,” Star Yu interjected, unable to resist speaking to him, seeing his docile demeanor. “It’ll only be for a little while… We’ll be out again very soon, I promise.”

Luo Yao merely lifted his head and offered a bewildered nod in response.

Mu Yaochen had already warned him: he was not to speak with other women without her explicit permission.

This particular command felt like Mu Yaochen’s ‘inverse scale’ (TL Note: A dragon’s inverse scale is a metaphor for a taboo or sensitive spot that, if touched, provokes extreme anger). He dreaded to imagine what might transpire if he were to truly cross that line.

She would probably break his legs.

He might even be rendered unable to walk for the rest of his life…

No, it wasn’t worth the risk. That woman remained utterly terrifying.

A pang of disappointment went through Star Yu when Luo Yao offered no further reply. Conversely, seeing Luo Yao’s reluctance to engage with Star Yu, Mu Yaochen’s heart swelled with quiet satisfaction.

She was, in fact, quite pleased with Luo Yao’s conduct.

It seemed a little ‘training’ had indeed proven effective.

Retreating into the house, Star Yu still harbored a deep sense of disappointment, yet she refused to surrender.

Opportunities abounded, and Star Yu prided herself on knowing Mu Yaochen intimately.

Given Mu Yaochen’s well-known aversion to men, Star Yu was absolutely convinced that Luo Yao’s innocence remained untouched by her.

That ‘first time’ was a truly precious thing…

In her quest to shed the mantle of virginity, Star Yu had, in recent years, exerted no small amount of effort in seeking out a man who truly captured her interest.

While she could easily pay a man to help her ‘graduate’ from the ‘virgin academy’ (TL Note: A humorous or metaphorical term for losing one’s virginity), Star Yu firmly believed that one’s first experience was far too precious to be given to anyone but the most beloved.

Today, however, Star Yu found herself utterly captivated by Luo Yao’s striking appearance.

“Yaochen, how old is that boy, Luo Yao?” Star Yu asked, barely having stepped into the room before eagerly plying Mu Yaochen for information about him.

If at all possible, she intended to purchase Luo Yao directly from Mu Yaochen.

While Star Yu’s family might not command the vast financial power and capital of a conglomerate like Bluebird Group, they possessed significant political connections and wielded considerable influence.

This long-standing connection was precisely why Star Yu and Mu Yaochen had known each other since childhood, forging an exceptionally close bond.

Yet… at this moment, Star Yu couldn’t help but feel a flicker of apprehension. Knowing Mu Yaochen’s personality, it would be exceedingly difficult to persuade her to part with something she cherished…

That is, assuming Mu Yaochen didn’t particularly care for him…

Even with that slim hope, Star Yu dared not gamble.

Her only recourse was to observe, to ascertain Mu Yaochen’s true feelings for Luo Yao before making any definitive moves.

Nevertheless… in all her years, Star Yu had never encountered a man who made her heart pound with such fierce intensity.

Could this truly be what people called love at first sight?

“I believe he’s seventeen,” Mu Yaochen replied, her brow furrowed in careful recollection.

As for Luo Yao’s precise age, she couldn’t entirely rely on the auction house’s records.

She still wasn’t certain whether Luo Yao was a virgin.

The primary reason, of course, was that Mu Yaochen had yet to personally ascertain the fact. Once she did, however, the answer would undoubtedly be affirmative.

“Very well…” Star Yu simply nodded, though a torrent of thoughts still swirled within her. For now, clandestine observation was her only option.

“Oh, and why am I changing clothes?” Mu Yaochen asked, her gaze falling upon Star Yu’s decidedly club-ready attire. “Where exactly are we going?” A flicker of suspicion stirred within her.

“To a bar, of course!” Star Yu chirped. “Didn’t a new one just open a few days ago…?”

Observing Mu Yaochen’s bewildered expression, Star Yu finally divulged the truth. With each word, Mu Yaochen’s face grew progressively darker.

“Can I… not go?” Mu Yaochen finally asked, stopping dead in her tracks and fixing Star Yu with an utterly serious gaze.
