A week had passed since Lisbeth’s self-introduction in the conference room, and he had settled into life as a personal maid. Although Lisbeth and Staros were both officially personal maids to the Demon Lord and assistants to Hilda, their duties were indistinguishable from those of ordinary maids.
“Ah… I’m exhausted. When will this ever end?”
At that moment, Lisbeth and Staros were cleaning a vast room. Such rooms were rare even in the Demon Lord’s Castle, filled with countless items to dust and carpets that were a hassle to clean. Usually, at least four or five maids would be needed to clean a room of this size.
However, there were only Lisbeth and Staros present, which is why Staros had complained. Hearing her, Lisbeth glared at Staros and replied, “It’s all your fault for talking nonsense, which is why we’re in this mess! So, instead of complaining, let’s get to work.”
“Hey, don’t make it sound like it’s all my fault! If we were just a bit more capable, we wouldn’t have ended up cleaning such a large room alone.”

Ten minutes earlier—
“Lisbeth, Staros, it’s an honor to work with you today!”
“Ah, yes, likewise.”
“Naturally, likewise.”
Although Lisbeth had been in the castle for a week, she had spent most of her time learning under Hilda. Today was the first time she and Staros were working independently to clean an entire room.
Given the size of the room, Hilda had assigned four maids to assist them. However, Lisbeth was new, and Staros had always been lazy, so they found the maids’ expectant gazes overwhelming.
“Today, we are honored to work alongside the personal maids. We hope to learn valuable experiences from you both.”
“Ah… ahaha… If only we could be of help…”
“Lisbeth, come here for a moment.”
Hearing the maids’ words, Lisbeth’s back was damp with cold sweat. Unsure of how to respond, she was relieved when Staros pulled her aside and whispered, “Idiot, don’t look so nervous. We’re personal maids, after all. If our incompetence is known, it’ll be embarrassing later on.”
“I understand, but I can’t say I know nothing. What if Hilda finds out? It would be worse.”
“Then follow my lead.”
With that, Staros turned to the maids with a sweet smile. “Sorry, but today Hilda said this room should be cleaned by Staros and me alone. Could you please clean other rooms?”
“Eh? But this room is so large. Will just the two of you be okay?”
Despite their confusion, the maids didn’t question Staros, as she was a personal maid and their superior. They only expressed concern about the room’s size.
Once the maids left, Lisbeth and Staros let out a sigh of relief…

“Ha… Well, we’re almost done. It might not be as clean as Hilda would like, but at least it looks presentable.”
“Yeah, if it were up to her standards, we’d be in trouble.”
After a long time cleaning, Lisbeth and Staros finally finished the room. They collapsed on the floor, exhausted. Staros then tugged at Lisbeth’s fox tail and said, “Lisbeth, now that it’s just us, there’s something I want to talk about.”
“What is it? If it’s about my chest, forget it—I’m the only one who can touch it.”
“Of course, I know! I was thinking, do you want to help me get a magical item from Olivia’s lab that can increase breast size?”
“Huh?”
