I should explain this first.
I’m bored.
While I had become an S-rank hunter, I couldn’t just summon another S-rank hunter on a whim.
So I had some free time.
While spending it with Himiko was an option, I wanted to enter another world.
I had already seen the ending of My Hero Academia.
While I could return anytime, there was no reason to. My only significant connection in that world was Himiko.
I had also witnessed Midoriya become the top hero, fulfilling my desire for an alternate ending.
“Mister, what are you thinking about?”
“Thinking about you, Himiko.”
“Heehee, sweet talker. Tell me honestly, what were you really thinking? Don’t tell me you were thinking about other women in another world.”
“Of course not.”
Himiko chuckled.
“I knew it. You fidget with your hands when you think about women. You weren’t doing that just now.”
“Really?”
“Yes. Have you ever seen me lie?”
“No.”
“Then trust me.”
Himiko sat on my lap.
“Can I have some blood?”
“Sure.”
Himiko pulled my shirt aside and bit into my neck.
I felt a slight sting as she drank my blood.
It wasn’t unpleasant. I had grown accustomed to it.
After finishing, Himiko looked at me with wide eyes.
“Are you going to another world?”
“How did you know?”
“It’s obvious. If you’re not thinking about women, you’re thinking about other worlds.”
Sensing her slight disappointment, I apologized. Himiko was my lover, and her mood affected mine.
“Sorry.”
Himiko shook her head.
“It’s okay. I don’t have to wait long, anyway. You’re back in the blink of an eye.”
She hugged me tightly.
“Just tell me if you find another woman. It would hurt if you suddenly brought someone home.”
It was a cute display of jealousy, so I nodded.
“So the only woman right now is Mikasa?”
Himiko’s sudden mood swing suggested her previous sadness was feigned, but I let it slide.
It didn’t matter if it was an act or not.
“Well, there’s one more I have in mind.”
“One more?”
“We’re not officially a couple yet.”
“So, just two women in total?”
“Yes.”
Himiko beamed.
“That’s fewer than I expected. I thought there would be at least five.”
“I don’t plan on having that many.”
“Really? Promise?”
She held out her pinky finger.
“Since this is a Korean promise, let’s do it this way. If I marry you, we’ll be living in Korea anyway, so a Korean promise is appropriate.”
I linked my pinky with hers.
“Promise!”
Looking at her cheerful face, I retrieved a Talent Awakening Stone from my inventory.
“Himiko, put your hand on this.”
“What is it?”
“A Talent Awakening Stone. If you have a hidden talent, this stone will react.”
[Talent Awakening Stone.
Awakens hidden talents. No effect if there are none.]
Himiko placed her hand on the stone, and it glowed brightly.
We both closed our eyes against the light. When we opened them, the stone was now red.
Unable to determine her new ability, I asked, “How do you feel? Any changes?”
“Yes! Mister, this is amazing! I’m a pyrokinetic like Endeavor!”
Flames erupted from Himiko’s hand. It was a powerful ability, and fire was always useful.
“That’s great.”
“Thank you, big brother!”
“It’s been a while since you called me that.”
Himiko grinned.
“I can’t overuse it!”
Her laughter was infectious.
“I’ll be back soon, Himiko.”
[Starting game.]
[Selected World: Jujutsu Kaisen.]
“Okay, have a safe trip, Suho!”
Nanami Kento, a grade 1 sorcerer who graduated from Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, was furious.
He had just witnessed the brutal murder of innocent people by a curse.
While grief threatened to consume him, his rage was stronger.
He followed the curse’s trail into a building.
‘This is it.’
He found the curse quickly, but it wasn’t alone.
‘Nobara…’
Kugisaki Nobara, a first-year student at Tokyo Metropolitan Curse Technical College, was with the curse.
‘She’s not a concern.’
She wasn’t a hostage, so she wasn’t a problem. The woman behind the curse was the real concern.
Judging by her attire, she seemed to be providing support to the curse, relaying information and coordinating its movements.
‘Good.’
If she had been a hostage, it would have been troublesome.
However, she was taking advantage of the curse’s distraction to escape.
There was nothing holding Nanami back now.
The curse taunted him, “Hey! Don’t come any closer! I have a hostage! If you come any closer, I’ll… Huh? Where did she go?”
The curse realized too late that the woman had escaped, but by then, Nanami had already closed the distance.
The curse slowly turned its head, and there, standing before it, was a man with a demonic expression.
“What are your numbers and positions?”
