The architecture of Alice Academy was incredibly diverse.
It even included a church and a bell tower.
Large groves of maple trees and myrtle were planted around these buildings.
Among the lush greenery were blooming white albizias.
Following the winding paths, only a few scattered figures could be seen.
[Whoa, hiding here really is well-concealed.]
[Could Class C actually be the final winner?]
[Man, Class C really lucked out. They got stealth suits and signal jammers from the supply box. That’s why their coordinates weren’t showing up on the map.]
[A new Chosen One is about to be born!]
[I’m doomed. I bet on Class A to win. I’m going to lose everything.]
Rule 11: When the number of participants in a class falls to 5 or fewer, the class will be deemed “unable to defend its territory” and will be automatically eliminated.
Rule 12: When the number of participants is less than 10 but more than 5, the system will deem it a case of “incomplete team info / rising enemy alertness” and will automatically display the class’s coordinates on the map.
The player number restrictions didn’t end there.
They were essentially a disguised way to remind students to protect their teammates and strengthen class cohesion.
Otherwise, once the conditions were met, the debuff effects would be unbearable.
Wang Ning had guessed right—Class C had only six members left.
Originally, their coordinates should’ve been exposed, and they would’ve been hunted down.
But by a stroke of luck, they found a signal jamming device in a supply box.
In other words, students could use special items to interfere with system rules.
“…This way, no one will find us.”
On the top floor of the bell tower, several girls whispered among themselves.
This was the decision they made after careful consideration.
With their current combat strength, they stood no chance against Class A in a direct fight.
Hiding and waiting until the end was their best option.
So they chose this bell tower—an area with few people, far from the teaching building, and already under their control.
Now, they were hiding on the top floor.
Time slowly passed.
In the agonizing tension, they watched as the countdown ticked down to ten minutes.
Some had already begun to imagine what it would be like to advance to Class A.
The school’s treatment of Class A versus the other classes was like night and day.
It was the perfect example of favoritism—praising one and stepping on another.
That was one of the main reasons everyone was desperate to get into Class A.
The room they were in was dimly lit, with only one open window.
One of the girls, wearing her hair in braided pigtails, casually looked outside—and froze.
Floating just beyond the window was a livestream drone.
Its lens pointed directly at them, like an eye silently watching.
“Wait… livestream cameras can be affected by signal jammers too, right?” the girl with the braids suddenly asked.
“Yeah, but since they’re school property, they have stronger signal permissions. They won’t be fully jammed and can still retain partial streaming functionality,” someone beside her replied.
“Why are you asking… did you see something?”
The braided girl asked again, “Then… is it possible for other students to gain control of a livestream drone?”
The air suddenly turned thick and heavy.
Not a single sound was made.
Until one person finally spoke, their voice dry and hoarse: “Are you saying… we’ve been discovered by someone… through the livestream feed—”
Crash!
Before she could finish, the window was violently shattered.
Countless shards of glass burst into the room.
Some of them rained down toward the ground hundreds of meters below.
A shadow dangling outside the window suddenly let go of their rope and burst through the broken window into the room.
Chaos erupted.
Screams.
Doors flung open.
An attempt to escape.
The last remaining members of Class C completely fell apart under the unexpected ambush.
On the terminals, on the screens in the elimination zone, and in the livestream room, a mechanical voice rang out again:
[Countdown ended.]
[Final point tally recalculating.]
…
[Calculation complete.]
[Current leaderboard: First place—Class A, 4550 points.]
[Winning class: Class A.]
If You Notice any translation issues or inconsistency in names, genders, or POV etc? Let us know here in the comments or on our Discord server, and we’ll fix it in current and future chapters. Thanks for helping us to improve! 🙂
Translation Issue: Just about every single character has been given three different spellings for their names, and no, I’m NOT being hyperbolic here.
Examples:
Twisted Sister A Ringetsu / Rin Dong / Rindong
Twisted Sister B Rinmatsu / Rin Yue / Rinyue
Sleeping Beauty Glass An / Boli An / Glass Anne
Roommate Xiali / Xia Yali / Cialie
I suggest making a Chapter 0: Character List, and then going through each chapter and copy/paste the “correct” names.
From what I’ve read so far this is a fairly fun series, although it doesn’t explain how the “Angel” MC is going to become ANYONE’S “mother” and lead them to a Good Ending (GE) when they’re all in the “And I’ll hug him and squeeze him and call ’em George” stage of obsession.
