Long Ling felt a chilling coldness run down her thin spine, and the moment the words left her mouth, she knew she had spoken without thinking.
Miss Evil Dragon had indeed been somewhat excessive today, but she had never done anything truly outrageous to Long Ling.
In the past few days, whenever Long Ling had a need, Violet had always fulfilled it completely.
Only this time, when she was refused, she couldn’t control her temper towards Miss Evil Dragon.
If only she had been a little more patient, a little less dissatisfied, she wouldn’t have blurted out that sentence from the bottom of her heart.
No, she didn’t mean to imply that Violet was that kind of terrible dragon!
Violet was the best dragon in the entire world to her!
Long Ling turned around in a panic, looking into Violet’s eyes.
The usually proud eyes now held a hurt expression, as if they had been stabbed, mixed with an unprecedented coldness.
Long Ling’s lips moved slightly, instinctively avoiding Violet’s stern gaze.
She wiped away her tears with the back of her hand, her eyes red and swollen, and said softly, “Violet, I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to say you’re a big evil dragon.
You’re very good to me, you’re a very good dragon.”
Violet didn’t accept Long Ling’s apology and coldly rebuked, “Hypocritical!”
Long Ling couldn’t lift her head after being scolded, tears falling uncontrollably.
She pouted and explained, “My ‘big evil dragon’ is a term of endearment, not saying you’re a very bad dragon.”
A coldness flashed across Violet’s eyes as she spat out two more words, “Sophistry!”
Long Ling felt as if she were nailed to a pillar of shame, the tears in her eyes welling up more and more.
With tearful eyes, she said, “I’m not being hypocritical, nor am I trying to justify myself.
I really didn’t mean it.
You’re very good.
It’s just that I’m always troubling you.
I just want to earn more gold coins on my own.”
“Go earn gold coins then, I won’t stop you anymore!”
Violet’s condemning gaze pierced through Long Ling as if it were a physical thing.
She let out a cold scoff, flicked the gem on her finger, and turned her wheelchair back to the bedroom.
Long Ling lowered her head.
Someone as proud as Miss Evil Dragon would definitely be disgusted with her now that she had offended her.
It was time for her to leave this place in disgrace.
Long Ling wiped away her tears, went to the dressing room with her head down, and packed all the clothes she had brought into her reddish-brown calfskin suitcase.
When she went to open the bedroom door again with her suitcase in hand, she found that the door was still tightly closed, with magic enhancements on it.
Every time she touched it, a faint purple light would flash across the door.
A sense of bewilderment washed over Long Ling’s eyes.
Miss Evil Dragon wouldn’t let her leave but wouldn’t talk to her either.
Was she just trying to lock her up in this room?
Was she planning to starve her to death?
Long Ling leaned sadly against the door.
Next time, if she encountered such a situation, she would definitely hide more dry food on her body.
Even ancient prisoners could have a full meal before execution, and she was just a cook.
If she went to the underworld and people found out she had starved to death, she would be laughed at.
The more Long Ling thought about it, the sadder she became.
She sat cross-legged on the carpet in front of the bedroom door for a while when she suddenly heard a rustling sound coming from the bedroom.
She perked up her ears and suddenly realized that this sound was very familiar, very pleasant, like—
The sound of a large pile of gold coins colliding.
The dragon clan’s inherent obsession for gold coins urged Long Ling to wag her dragon tail, transform into her dragon form, and immediately walk in the direction of the sound.
When Long Ling arrived, she saw that the original position of the bed had been moved away, revealing an entrance extending downward.
Golden light passed through the dim underground, reflecting on the surrounding walls, filled with undulating brilliance like waves.
She had been here for so long, but she had never discovered that there was such a large storage room behind the place where she and Miss Evil Dragon slept every day.
The sound of gold coins colliding continued.
The silver-white little dragon poked her head out, glanced around, and found that there was no danger.
She walked down the steps, her dragon claws making a “patta, patta” sound as she stepped on them, and her dragon tail wagged a few times behind her.
When she reached the end of the stairs, Long Ling discovered a mountain made of gold coins.
The golden coins were rolling down with a clink sound, making a series of crisp sounds.
The walls around were made of gold bricks, and a large pile of round gold coins rolled past her feet, like small waves in a sea of gold, rolling far away on the marble floor.
A look of surprise flashed across Long Ling’s eyes.
She looked up and suddenly discovered a scarlet giant dragon coiling on the golden mountain, its exquisitely colored dragon tail pressed on layers of gold coins.
Its shape was majestic and huge, its head pillowed on a pile of gold coins, and its dark gold eyes were bloodshot, like the most dazzling and luxurious ruby.
The scarlet giant dragon’s sharp claws were boredly fiddling with the gold coins piled on top.
A trace of loneliness lingered around it.
Those gold coins couldn’t bear the weight and fell down with a “哗啦啦” sound, flowing down like a rushing waterfall.
The sound of the colliding gold coins became more and more crisp and pleasant.
When the scarlet giant dragon discovered the silver-white little dragon standing there, it immediately stopped fiddling with the gold coins.
Its gem-like eyes burned with anger, and fiery dragon breath swelled in its belly, gathering more and more, moving upward, and suddenly opening its dragon mouth, it released a torrent of fire like a volcanic eruption toward the silver-white little dragon.
Long Ling stood there blankly, forgetting that she also knew a little magic.
The raging fire came straight toward her, and the terrifying heat seemed to melt the gold coins into liquid gold.
That liquid flowed down, covering the gold coins—
The silver-white dragon scales of the little呆龙were about to be burned into another color.
A look of urgency flashed across the eyes of the scarlet giant dragon.
It opened its huge dragon wings and swooped toward Long Ling, pinning the entire dragon against the gold-brick wall behind it, avoiding the explosive red flames.
Besides the raging fire, there was only this majestic and domineering scarlet giant dragon in front of her.
The dragon form of the scarlet giant dragon was even larger than hers.
She felt as if her scales were about to be burned, and her heart was pounding because she was too nervous.
She tried to reduce her presence in front of the scarlet giant dragon, but the scarlet giant dragon didn’t intend to let her go.
Those gem-like eyes glanced at her askance.
“What are you doing here?
Aren’t you going to borrow money from others and earn your gold coins?”
Violet was angry again and very fierce.
“The door was locked with magic by you.
I can’t get out.”
The golden eyes of the scarlet giant dragon suddenly turned into vertical pupils, and dragon breath was brewing in its belly again.
It seemed that it wanted to burn her to death again.
Long Ling quickly comforted Violet, and her short dragon claws hugged Violet’s dragon head.
“Your Grace, I didn’t want to leave.
I was wrong just now.
I’m sorry.
I was ignorant.
If I had known you had so many gold coins, I should have brought a small cart and pushed a few carts away.”
At this time, Violet really wanted to fan Long Ling away with her dragon wings, but she was worried that Long Ling’s silver-white dragon body would not be able to withstand her blow.
She endured it again and again, retracted her sharp claw tips, and bounced away Long Ling’s sticky body.
“You poor little dragon, don’t even think about getting anything from me now.”
Miss Evil Dragon was the same as her, a dragon.
The dragon’s greed for treasures had reached a near obsessive attitude.
Being willing to give up part of her treasures and gold coins was already the greatest love for her partner.
Long Ling knew that she had been ungrateful before and clung to her again, sticking to Violet’s curled scarlet dragon tail, and rubbing her head against Violet’s dragon head: “It’s okay if you don’t lend it to me.
I just want to earn more gold coins, and I don’t want to settle accounts with you.
If we can get married in the future, I want to give the money I earn to you to add bricks and tiles to your golden mountain.”
Violet stared into the eyes of the silver-white little dragon.
Those eyes were clear, pure, and very gentle.
Long Ling didn’t plan to leave her and find a new dragon, but was going to marry her.
Her mood was slightly better, but thinking that the little dragon had always thought she was a big evil dragon in her heart, her eyes suddenly became cold and sharp again, like ice cones in the cold winter.
“You still want to borrow money from other dragons, don’t you?
You just think I’m a big evil dragon in your heart, and you think I’m vicious and hateful.
My dragon tail is disabled and can’t entwine with yours.
Why are you still clinging to me?”
“Go away, go as far as possible, and never appear in front of me again!”
Violet’s gem-like eyes were bloodshot, her voice became hoarse as if it had been sanded, and she used her usual cold and ruthless tone to drive away all the dragons who approached her.
“No, Violet, I’m not going to borrow money from other dragons anymore.
I didn’t mean to say that big evil dragons are very vicious.
I only said that because I like you!
You are the best to me.
You built my beloved kitchen for me, repaired the road for me, and built a tavern for me.
I’m very touched!”
Seeing that the scarlet giant dragon was angry and wanted to break free, Long Ling hurriedly pressed her body on Violet’s, entangling with Violet and falling into the pile of gold coins together.
The two huge dragons rolled in the pile of gold coins, and the surrounding gold coins slid down with a clattering sound like quicksand.
Violet’s dragon form looked mighty and domineering, but her dragon tail was injured and disabled.
She was entangled by an Alpha dragon like a sticky candy and was soon pressed down by the silver-white little dragon.
Long Ling and Violet transformed into human form together.
Her hands held Violet’s face, and she kissed her hard without thinking.
The soft red lips kissed her warmly and quickly, containing the cold and alluring lips like roses.
The fragrant, soft, and smooth red tongue outlined Violet’s lip beads, and crystal clear tears rolled down uncontrollably from the corners of Long Ling’s eyes, like broken beads, drop by drop, soaking Violet’s cold white cheeks.
“I’m sorry.”
Long Ling’s eyes were sore and painful, and she kissed her carefully, afraid that Violet would push her away.
She hugged Violet tighter, and the wet and salty tears slid down from the corners of her eyes, not caring to wipe them away.
“I was wrong.
I won’t call you a big evil dragon anymore.
You are not vicious at all.
I don’t care if your dragon tail is disabled.
I want to be with you forever.”
She became more and more sad and gradually cried uncontrollably.
Her voice was intermittent and vague.
Even her flattering kisses became clumsy.
She kissed her several times but it was not enough.
She went to kiss Violet’s delicate cheeks and deep eyebrows repeatedly.
She liked Violet very much.
She really didn’t dislike her!
Long Ling’s delicate features were full of anguish, streaked with glistening tear tracks, her silver hair drooping down, looking despondent and pitiful.
From her intermittent words, she pieced together a sentence: The heartbroken little puppy wanted to be with her forever, not out of dislike, but out of love.
She closed her eyes, reached out and cradled the back of Long Ling’s head, pressing her own lips against Long Ling’s, grinding every inch of the soft, red lips, sucking and savoring the taste of Long Ling’s lips.
Long Ling hadn’t expected Violet to take the initiative and kiss her so suddenly.
Her eyes widened in surprise, her wet lashes still clinging to tears, her heart pounding.
Soon, she couldn’t help but lose herself in it.
Violet’s lips were so soft, carrying a rose-like fragrance, kissing her until it felt like fireworks were exploding in her brain.
They kissed for a long, long time, their first kiss making them forget everything, lost to the world with only each other.
The surrounding gold coins continued to make a rustling sound as they shifted. Long Ling’s hands supported herself on Violet’s body.
When the kiss ended, her heart was still racing. She looked at Violet’s charming eyes and soft lips, couldn’t help but lick her dry lips, and kissed her again.
“Violet, my heart is beating so fast,” Long Ling said softly as she kissed her lips, gently calling her name.
Violet, breathless from the kiss, gently stroked Long Ling’s face, her high nose lightly touching hers.
Her red lips parted slightly, with a seductive hint: “Do you want more?”
As their touching lips gently parted, Long Ling saw the tip of Violet’s tongue, agile and red, between her teeth.
Her heart rate skyrocketed, and her mouth felt drier than ever before.
Her cheeks were flushed, and the red blush behind her ears spread throughout her body.
Her temperature rose rapidly, quickly reaching a feverish state, making her head spin.
Long Ling nodded, and fearing that Violet wouldn’t see her, she nodded vigorously again.
Her moist eyelashes were like the wings of a butterfly, and glistening tears rolled down.
Long Ling had cried for so long that her eyes were still red, like a pitiful little rabbit.
Violet’s slender fingers traced Long Ling’s pale neck, pulling her closer, forehead to forehead: “Come here.”
Long Ling gently kissed her lips, her shy tongue darting between her teeth.
Before she could explore, a soft, red tongue wrapped around hers.
She dazedly didn’t know what to do, letting herself be led and stirred for a few moments. It felt so good she felt dizzy.
Her eyelashes trembled non-stop, but fearing Violet would realize how inexperienced she was, she nervously clenched her skirt.
Violet watched all of Long Ling’s reactions.
The little strawberry’s kissing skills were too inexperienced; she had been quite skilled during their marking, but not now.
Violet proactively ended the kiss.
Long Ling’s eyes were still glazed over, knowing that she hadn’t performed well, and she lowered her head, feeling a little embarrassed.
After a while, Long Ling finally mustered the courage to quietly reach out and take Violet’s hand, unable to help but ask: “Violet, are you still mad at me?”
Violet’s hands were always cold.
Even though she was a Red Dragon who could generate flames, her body temperature should have been higher than hers.
Perhaps it was because she was sick, but her hands were always a little icy.
The soft, warm hand enveloped and squeezed hers, and the gentle warmth continuously transferred over.
Violet’s anger dissipated slightly, and she asked softly, “You say that calling me a ‘big Evil Dragon’ is a term of endearment, so why don’t I call you ‘little stupid dragon’? That’s also a term of endearment.”
Long Ling was speechless, and quietly said, “I won’t call you that anymore, not even in my heart. I’m sorry, Violet; I still want to participate in that competition.”
Violet had become used to her stubbornness and didn’t bother to argue any further: “Go ahead; you can do whatever you want if you want to participate in the competition.”
Long Ling continued to look at her pitifully, staring persistently. Violet, annoyed by her clinging, relented: “I’ll lend you the drift net and the gold coins.”
Joy appeared in Long Ling’s eyes, and she reached out to embrace Violet:
“Violet, you’re so good. I only need the drift net. If you have time tomorrow, can you come fishing with me?”
Giving her things wasn’t enough; she also wanted her company.
Her clinginess was even worse than before.
Violet, held tightly in Long Ling’s arms, could only say, with a reluctant air, because she felt sorry for her.
“It depends on how you behave.”

Wait I’m confused how did we get to this point? Are we missing some things in this chapter? How did Violet go from being incredibly sad to going straight for a smooch also we don’t see the conversation they have when Long Ling tells Violet big evil dragon is a term of endearment
Please read the previous chapter!
Even rereading chapter 28 it skips over their discussion after Long Ling calls violet an evil dragon. When reading it feels like part of the chapter is missing. They literally go from the bedroom in ch28 to suddenly being in the treasury and there’s no discussion regarding Long ling using “evil dragon” as a term of endearment.
Got it fixed, enjoy the chapter!
