“What happened? Why does everything look like it was hit by a nuclear blast when I woke up?”
When Qianye opened his eyes again, he found himself standing atop a wasteland. This desolate landscape had once been a bustling street, but now it lay in ruins, littered with debris and collapsed buildings, as if erased by some unknown force.
“I remember I was dreaming. In the dream, a succubus goddess named Celia Agrate punished me for a joke… No, that was a reward. Wait, no, it was a punishment.”
Qianye carefully recalled his memories before losing consciousness. “After the… no, punishment, Celia said she had to send me to another world as part of her job.”
“She said something intriguing, ‘This is a world you know the plot of, and it perfectly matches the conditions I promised you. Enjoy your new life!’ After that, I felt like I was back in the womb, and I don’t know how long it was.”
“If what she said is true, then I’ve successfully crossed over, and it’s a world I’m familiar with.”
“Judging by the surroundings, this seems to be a modern society similar to my own world. But given the destruction of the streets, this world must have powers that don’t exist in reality.”
“Combining that with her mention of many beautiful girls, it sounds like a urban fantasy novel or a harem anime I’ve read.”
“But which one is it?”
Qianye felt a headache coming on, so he rubbed his temples and shook his head to clear his thoughts. “Thinking won’t get me anywhere. I should observe my surroundings and gather clues!”
Qianye began to walk around the ruins, carefully examining the area. Despite the destruction, he found a clue: a board covered in filth with the words “Keep Out” written in Chinese characters.
“Keep Out? If I remember correctly, that’s a Japanese term, not used in Chinese!”
Qianye looked around and noticed that all the signs and advertisements were in Japanese. “It seems I’m in Japan, but which anime world is this? Is it ‘Rebel Raiden’ or ‘Blazing Shao Kang’?”
His thoughts were interrupted when he saw a girl who looked like she stepped out of a manga. She had waist-length pink hair, heterochromatic eyes, and features so perfect they seemed sculpted. Her most striking features were the horns on her head, bat-like wings on her back, and a tail with a heart-shaped tip. Despite her cute appearance, her outfit was mature and sensual, like a piece of night sky cut and sewn into a black lace dress that hugged her slender frame. Her long, flowing skirt trailed behind her, but the front was replaced by a V-neck bodysuit, exposing her long legs. She wore black high heels that sparkled like black crystals, adding to her regal allure.
“Wow… she’s so cute! If I punch her, she’ll probably cry for a long time!”
Qianye was instantly drawn to the girl and waved at her. The girl waved back.
“Wait, this can’t be…”
Qianye shook his head, and the girl did the same. Qianye danced, and the girl mimicked him. Qianye…
“What the hell? This isn’t possible!”
Qianye couldn’t believe his eyes. The girl was actually a reflection in a mirror, and the reflection was of himself. “What is going on here?”
Qianye fell backward, landing in a sitting position. “I was a tough guy, so why am I like this now? I need to check.”
Qianye reached under his skirt and felt around. “Nothing there. My good friend of twenty-four years is gone?”
He touched every part of his body, confirming that he had all the female features and none of the male ones. “It’s true. I’m completely a girl now.”
Qianye lay on the ground, feeling defeated. “My good friend, you left before fulfilling your destiny!”
Just then, Qianye remembered someone who might be able to help. “Hey, Celia, are you there?”
“I’m here, my dear little girl. You can always come to Mommy!”
“Pfft, I’m not your little girl! I was a tough guy, how could I be your daughter?”
“You were a tough guy once!” Celia licked her lips. “I tested your body, and it was quite good.”
“Then why don’t you change me back?”
“I’m sorry, I can’t. Your old body is broken and was discarded!”
“Don’t do that without my permission!” Qianye complained loudly, rubbing his chest with a hint of resentment. “It feels… not bad.”
Qianye thought, but his expression showed he wanted Celia to take responsibility. “That was my real body, with my genetic heritage! You broke it, so what about my genetic legacy?”
“Oh, so you’re worried about that?” Celia seemed to understand. “Don’t worry, I collected a lot of your genetic material and combined it with mine to create you in my body.”
Celia proudly stated, “See how thoughtful I am? I even preserved your original genes when you were reborn. Now you know how much I care!”
“What?” Qianye was stunned, looking at his own hands. “I’m my own father?”

Qianye stood in the ruins, his mind racing. The destruction around him hinted at a world far different from his own, one filled with powers and mysteries he barely understood. As he took in the sight of the collapsed buildings and scattered debris, he couldn’t help but feel a mix of awe and confusion. This was no ordinary world; it was a place where the ordinary and the extraordinary collided, and he was now a part of it.
The discovery of his reflection in the mirror had been a shock, but it was nothing compared to the revelation that his body had been completely transformed. He was no longer the person he once knew, and the realization weighed heavily on him. The loss of his former identity and the unexpected change in his physical form left him feeling both vulnerable and empowered in ways he couldn’t yet comprehend.
As he stood there, trying to process the magnitude of what had happened, a voice echoed in his mind—a voice that belonged to Celia, the succubus goddess who had orchestrated this entire event. Her words hung in the air, a reminder of the complex web of fate and destiny that had brought him to this point.
“Enjoy your new life,” she had said, and Qianye wondered what adventures and challenges lay ahead in this unfamiliar world. With a deep breath, he stepped forward, ready to embrace the unknown and uncover the secrets that awaited him.
