Chapter 3: Really a Great Friend

Executor.

A ranged position, suitable for dealers whose primary attack is their basic attack rather than skills. Based on high

attack power (DPS) from attack speed and critical hit rate, they were responsible for providing powerful sustained

firepower in the late game.

Breaker.

A melee position, suitable for dealers with somewhat lower health and defense but excellent combat ability. In the

early game, they were responsible for the upper lane, and in the late game, they pushed the outer areas. 1v1 fights

were most frequent among Breakers, giving it the image of being a manly position.

The problem was that in Ori, a 1v1 between an Executor and a Breaker in the early game was not a viable structure.

Theoretically, it might seem possible to gain an advantage using the long range, but the Executor’s early game stats

were ridiculously low. A Supplicant had to follow them to help them grow, and they even had to separate from the

other positions for a certain amount of time.

“Dodge! Please dodge! If there’s a sniper, please!”

Miya’s avatar clasped her hands together earnestly. If someone left before the game started, they could escape the

troll’s grasp. The problem was that Miya herself, who was in a promotion series, couldn’t leave. This was because

dodging was treated as a loss.

– Sniper! We’ll remember you!

– If you leave now, you’re a good sniper

-Even if it’s not a sniper, someone should leave

The viewers were also hoping for the game to be ruined.

There were two types of viewers: the caring type who wanted to see the VTuber happy, and the teasing type who liked

to tease the VTuber. Miya’s channel had a higher proportion of the teasing type, but even they were united this time.

It was fun when the streamer was moderately bad or suffered moderately (if they suffered too much, even the teasing

type would become caring), but a game where a troll was ruining everything wasn’t even fun to watch.

“Ah…”

Contrary to the wishes of Miya’s viewers, the screen heartlessly moved to the loading screen.

『Climb to Diamond』

『Amount: 100,000 won』

A mission someone had just given her. Seeing the amount quickly rise to 30 with contributions from various people,

Miya regained her energy.

“Alright! I’ll show you why Miya is the strongest magician!”

– Financial healing

– It’s only financial healing if you succeed in the mission… It looks like a safe investment

And so, they entered the starting area of the battlefield. The troll user immediately spoke.

○Elf Cho Eun(Archer/Breaker): Magician.

-Ah, that guy was the sniper

-Why do snipers always have to act like losers

– Maybe they snipe because they’re losers

As soon as the game started, he specifically called out to the streamer. This was one of the typical patterns of a sniper.

○Elf Cho Eun(Archer/Breaker): Magician.

He seemed intent on calling her until she answered. Miya let out a small sigh and opened the chat. There was a very

small chance that he wasn’t a sniper. If he said anything strange, she planned to immediately block him.

○Dark Lord Miya(Magician/Coordinator): What?

○Elf Cho Eun(Archer/Breaker): Are there demons among the races? I didn’t see them when I was setting up my avatar.

○Dark Lord Miya(Magician/Coordinator): This is a Halloween skin!

○Elf Cho Eun(Archer/Breaker): Hmm, it doesn’t look very good. Don’t rely on the darkness, and don’t lose your

natural self. There’s still a way back.

– Ugh, please!!!

– Wow, that’s seriously disgusting

– His concept is as boring as he is

-Just block him

The chat was filled with harsh comments. Miya also shook her head.

‘This is a bit much.’

A troll, a sniper, and a strange concept that ruined the atmosphere of the stream… She immediately blocked the chat

and decided not to pay attention to what that person did for the rest of the game.

She shouldn’t be swayed by a troll. She had to show that she could do well in times like this. Then she could further

boost the stream’s energy.

With that in mind, she silently moved to the position assigned to the Coordinator. She narrowly avoided an early

gank from a Tracker who had just come out of the dimensional jungle and secured a few small objectives.

{Elf Cho Eun has slain ililiiil.}

As expected. A defeat was heard from the upper lane from the beginning.

“Everyone expected this, right? Miya will do better!”

○If Executor Throws I Throw(Mystic/Supplicant): Nice!

○A Creed(Reaper/Tracker): Wow, how did you do that? Amazing

○Radiant Noob(Paladin/Protector): What is going on…

-? It’s not the sniper who lost?

-How did he do it

-Miya, look again, our team won ㅋㅋㅋ

-Is the opponent’s Breaker also a troll? There’s no way a Berserker can be solo-killed by an Archer unless they’re just standing still

“Eh, what? The Archer won? How did he do that!”

The Elf Breaker, who she thought was a troll, showed a twist. As if the early solo kill wasn’t a fluke, he continued to perform well.

{Elf Cho Eun has slain ililiiil.}

{Elf Cho Eun has scored a Double Kill!}

– Triple solo kill

-This time he killed the Tracker too?

-I’m really curious about the Archer’s screen

– Miya, go up~ I can’t see Elf Cho Eun

– Guys, watch the Archer’s point of view in real-time ㅋㅋㅋ It’s insane

“Guys? Miya also did really well just now? I forced the opponent’s Coordinator to retreat?”

– Ah, is that important right now? ㅋㅋㅋ

– What’s the point of watching a Magician beat a Magician?

– Just stick to the Archer from now on?

Even though she was playing quite well as a Coordinator, the viewers were only excited about the Archer Breaker.

Their attitude of cursing together had changed completely.

“What! Focus on Miya!”

She said that for the stream, but Miya wasn’t upset with the viewers at all. In fact, she was a little excited.

‘This is… MyuTube material!’

Of course, MyuTube was produced and managed by the company. But Miya wasn’t the type to leave everything to

them and not care. She sometimes intentionally created MyuTube-worthy moments in her streams, and she often

gave her opinions during the review process before they were uploaded to MyuTube.

The teammate Archer, who she thought was a troll, turned out to be incredibly skilled. And he was playing in a way

that broke the common sense of Ori? There was no way it wouldn’t become a hot topic.

With Miya’s expectations, the game progressed very smoothly. The probability of winning increased just by widening

the growth gap with the opponent’s Breaker. But this time, that grown Breaker was an Archer, one of the characters

with the highest late-game potential.

After a few teamfights, they reached the enemy’s last fortress quite early. The only thing left was a battle where

everyone gathered. Just as she was raising her staff, looking at the enemies rushing for their last stand.

Whoosh.

The Archer, who had been hiding nearby, suddenly appeared in the middle of the enemies. It was the activation of

the special skill, ‘Flash.’

“Huh?”

He managed to survive for a while with some impressive moves even at close range, but he couldn’t avoid all the

attacks that surrounded him. The Archer fell to the ground.

Without the most well-grown Archer, they had no choice but to retreat after a major defeat.

○A Creed(Reaper/Tracker): Still very advantageous

○Radiant Noob(Paladin/Protector): Haha. He made a mistake.

As her teammate said, the gap had already widened considerably. It was hard to imagine them losing.

Of course, that was only if the Archer didn’t jump into the enemies in the following battles.

When the most well-grown character was killed, the opponent received a significant reward. After a few battle

defeats, the flow of the game started to change strangely.

{Defeat}

The result of a 48-minute long game was the two words she never wanted to see.

“H-how…”

– It seems like he wasn’t a sniper after all…

– (Yeah, you should have played better) [Message deleted by moderator.]

-What a jerk, carrying the team to give them hope then throwing ㅋㅋㅋㅋ

– This is so unfair, losing a promotion series like this

-ᅲ.ᅲ We could have won

○ililiiil(Berserker/Breaker): Breaker diff

The

: Archer, thanks for letting me win ㅋㅋ Double Cheese Burger(Magician/Coordinator)

○A Creed(Reaper/Tracker): Sigh… This game…

○If Executor Throws I Throw(Mystic/Supplicant): Archer, why did you do that?

The stream chat was in chaos, and so was the game’s end result screen.

Miya, feeling drained, unblocked the Archer’s chat, who hadn’t left yet. If he had an excuse, she wanted to hear what he had to say.

○Elf Cho Eun(Archer/Breaker): I’m sorry. I did my best in my own way. I’m just disappointed that it didn’t lead to victory.

His malicious chat instantly crushed any desire to get angry, and Miya could only mutter blankly.

“Wow… this guy is really something….”
