Su Han rose and gradually walked towards the outskirts of the Dark Moon Forest.
“Awoo~!” A giant gray wolf howled and charged towards her. Su Han swiftly dodged and leaped onto the wolf’s back, seizing its spine. Although Su Han was merely a magic apprentice at the moment, unable to cast spells or even wield a basic weapon, she had honed her combat skills and experience during the internal testing phase. Her agility was far beyond that of a clumsy, low-level giant wolf.
The wolf, feeling Su Han on its back, began thrashing wildly, trying to throw her off. Su Han responded with a flurry of small, delicate fists, pounding the wolf’s head until it was dazed and disoriented. Despite their appearance, these fists held terrifying power. Eventually, under Su Han’s relentless assault, the wolf yielded, collapsing to the ground. It was truly unconscious, suffering from a severe concussion. A bit more force, and its brains would have been splattered.
Su Han’s various professional levels might have been sealed, but as a dragon girl, her destructive dragon blood remained unsealed. The dragon’s physique was something ordinary people could never comprehend. Thus, even without spellcasting, Su Han’s terrifying physical strength was more than enough to overwhelm the giant wolf.
A first-tier magical beast’s core wasn’t worth Su Han’s trouble, but she realized she had no gold coins. Even a small amount of meat was better than nothing! Although a first-tier core wasn’t valuable, it was still worth a few silver coins. So, Su Han struck with all her might, and this time, the wolf’s brains truly splattered.
“Tsk, tsk, tsk, who would have thought the battle would be so easy!” In truth, she didn’t realize it was because of her dragon-like physique.
Su Han opened the wolf’s mouth, pried out a sharp tooth, and plunged it deep into the wolf’s skull. With a forceful twist, she extracted a gray core, contentedly placing it in her storage ring.
As she continued along the outskirts, she suddenly noticed a stunningly beautiful woman standing by a small stream near the bushes!
A graceful woman unwound her white sash, revealing a glimpse of her allure.
“Such a stunning woman, I wonder what she looks like!” Su Han said with interest.
As the woman turned, her true beauty was revealed. She had a porcelain-doll-like face, probably around fifteen or sixteen years old, standing at about 1.67 meters tall. Every movement exuded an otherworldly elegance, with a figure that could make even swans and cranes envious. Her skin was as smooth as jade, and her large, expressive eyes were mesmerizing, like a fairy descending from the heavens. She stood in the water, washing her body with ease.
Even though Su Han was in a female body, her mind remained that of a man. She found herself captivated by the sight.
Long black hair cascaded down her back, and her proud, high breasts stood tall. Combined with her slender, graceful figure, delicate waist, enticing collarbone, and pristine skin, she appeared incredibly pure. Her watery, spirited eyes were incredibly charming. Su Han watched, utterly entranced.
“There actually exists such a stunning woman in the world!” “I’ve truly lived in vain all these years, though she’s still not as good as Xinyan!” Su Han suddenly thought of the girl she was about to meet.
Xinyan, Su Han’s childhood sweetheart, had been her constant companion since they were little. They bathed, went to school, returned home, and ate meals together. Su Han had developed feelings for Xinyan, and Xinyan depended on Su Han. Their relationship had always been ambiguous.
“Xinyan, I hope you still remember me after many years!” Su Han said, her eyes welling up with tears.
Just as Su Han was about to leave, the woman suddenly sensed something. Despite the distance and the bushes between them, she could accurately sense Su Han’s presence.
“Who is it? Come out!” The girl quickly got out of the water, dressed, and drew her long sword, shouting angrily in Su Han’s direction.
Su Han realized it was bad. Since the woman had discovered her, there was no point in hiding anymore. She stepped out. Feeling the woman’s surging elemental magic, Su Han thought, “No way! I’m so unlucky! She’s actually a grand mage!” It was too late now; Su Han could only hope the woman wouldn’t kill her.
Akareya had assumed it was a pervert spying on her and was furious. But when she stood up, she saw that it was a beautiful girl! Her small, cherry-red lips were slightly parted, and her makeup-free face was far more captivating than any heavy makeup could achieve. Her eyes sparkled with a mix of autumn and spring, and her ice-like skin was translucently pure. A cold smile played on her lips, as ethereal as drifting clouds or calm sea waters.
“Were you just spying on me?” Although Su Han was a girl, Akareya couldn’t help but ask.
“Ah, yes!” Su Han blurted out, then quickly corrected herself, “No, no, no, I was just passing by!”
How could she admit to spying?
“Is that so? The Dark Moon Forest is dangerous. Are you really alone?” Akareya, seeing that Su Han was also a beautiful girl, felt a sense of affection.
“Aren’t you too?”
…
“Quick! Chase it! The ‘Thunder Cloud Tiger Demon’ is almost done for. Stay close and don’t let it escape!”
“Arcane Missiles! Wind Blades!”
“Whoosh! Swoosh!”
From a distance in the forest, shouts and the whizzing sounds of arcane missiles and wind blades could be heard, pursuing their prey.
“Ah? It’s Locks!” Akareya, recognizing a familiar voice, quickly ran over to greet him, “Locks, I’m here!”
“Princess, what are you doing here?” Locks, a young man of about seventeen, had a face as sharp as a blade, with sword-like brows and starry eyes, giving him a dashing appearance. He wore a silver-white knight’s armor, rode a white warhorse, and had a pure white parrot on his back. At that moment, Locks looked every bit the part of a prince on a white horse.
Su Han sensed the man’s power and was startled to find he was a heavenly knight! But what surprised her even more was the parrot on his shoulder—a seventh-tier magical beast!
Locks rode his white horse towards Akareya, dismounted, and knelt on one knee, taking Akareya’s hand and lightly kissing the back of it—a basic courtesy for a gentleman.
“Respected Princess William Akareya, your most loyal knight, Locks, will forever be by your side!”
The words came not from Locks, but from the white parrot on his shoulder.
Akareya politely helped Locks up, then playfully tapped the parrot on the head.
“Caw, caw, why are you hitting me?” The parrot flapped its wings and circled Locks’ head.
“Who told you to be mischievous!” Akareya huffed.
“Where was I mischievous? I’m a gentleman, a gentleman!”
Though this was just a basic courtesy between a princess and her knight, Su Han clearly saw the unmistakable greed and possessiveness in Locks’ eyes for Akareya. His gaze seemed to say that Akareya was his woman, and he would soon have her crying in his bed.
“Sigh, this plot is so cliché…” Su Han muttered under her breath.
“What did you say? Locks is Prince of Lucibia Empire, serving as my knight. I can’t afford to keep him.” Akareya quickly pulled her hand back after Locks kissed it and wiped it with a handkerchief, her eyes filled with disgust. Locks, lost in his own world, didn’t notice. Otherwise, he might have been driven mad with rage.
“Who might this young lady be?” Locks asked, noticing Su Han only after standing next to Akareya.
“Who is who~” The parrot chimed in.
“Proud of yourself, are we?” Akareya subtly moved aside, trying to distance herself from Locks.
“Saying I’m a lady? You’re the lady!” Su Han felt wronged, thinking, “I just changed genders, and you’re already calling me a lady!”
“Uh…” Locks realized his mistake and awkwardly smiled, not bothering to respond to Su Han. Instead, he turned to Akareya with a smile, “May I have the honor of requesting Princess to return with me to Lucibia Empire? I’ll inform Akadia Empire and have someone come to escort you!”
“Well… alright!” Akareya didn’t refuse Locks because she knew exploring Dark Moon Forest alone was dangerous. More importantly, she had run away from Akadia Palace, and returning would surely result in a scolding. If she said she was invited by Lucibia Empire, she could apologize and avoid the punishment!
As common knowledge, Su Han also knew about Lucibia and Akadia Empires. These neighboring countries were allies, often maintaining their friendship through royal marriages.
Su Han thought to herself, “Akareya is so calculating, playing Locks like a fool. Using his feelings for her to manipulate him. I have to admit, her scheming is almost on par with mine.”
“If that’s the case, then let’s go!”
“You… are you coming too?” Su Han thought Akareya would leave, but she remembered Su Han. So, Su Han nodded, “Yes!”
Why agree to Akareya’s invitation? Wasn’t it obvious? Su Han had no cheats or dragon-born status in this strange world. Alone in a dangerous forest, she was asking for trouble. If someone offered a friendly branch, Su Han would naturally reach for it!
“Let’s go then!” Locks didn’t mind. In his eyes, Su Han was just a harmless, pretty girl.
Akareya led out her unicorn, pure white with a halo of holy light on its horn, following Locks on his white horse. Su Han, of course, rode with Akareya on the unicorn, shamelessly hugging Akareya’s slender waist, making her blush.
“A girl’s body is indeed so soft, like… like hugging Xinyan…” Su Han murmured, her mind on another woman.
Akareya turned back and said to Su Han, “I didn’t expect Little White to not reject you! My brother had a hard time taming it!”
“Um… because…” Su Han quickly thought of an excuse, “because I’m a girl too~!”
“Oh, I see~!”
The unicorn’s owner must be a young, beautiful virgin, and only a pure maiden is worthy of riding a unicorn. Obviously, the unicorn thought Su Han was pure!
“This feels so good~!” Su Han rested her head on Akareya’s fragrant shoulder, inhaling her hair’s scent.
Locks, riding ahead, saw this and felt a pang of envy. But since Su Han was also a girl, there was nothing Locks could do. He couldn’t very well turn himself into a girl, and he didn’t have that magic anyway!
…
“You want to steal our spoils?” As soon as Su Han and the others dismounted, they heard such shouts.
“Your spoils? We saw this injured ‘Thunder Cloud Tiger Demon’ first!”
“Bullshit! We’re the ones who injured it!”
“It’s Reed’s voice, let’s go see!” Locks signaled Su Han and Akareya to follow.
“Damn it! We’ve been tracking this ‘Thunder Cloud Tiger Demon’ for three whole days. How dare you, Volga Mercenaries, interfere!”
“We saw it first, this injured ‘Thunder Cloud Tiger Demon’!” The other side was unyielding and unreasonable.
“Reed, what’s going on?” Locks frowned, looking at the Volga Mercenaries.
“We were chasing this ‘Thunder Cloud Tiger Demon’ when the Volga Mercenaries blocked our path, insisting it was theirs!”
“Volga Mercenaries? Don’t they know the name of the Royal Knight Corps?” Locks frowned.
“They said they didn’t believe us. They even said, ‘Even if you are the Royal Knight Corps, who would know if we killed you?’”
“They really said that?” Locks was furious. How dare they underestimate him? Forget his prince status; as the leader of the Royal Knight Corps, he could scare them off. But this time, he encountered someone who didn’t know their place!
