The Tofu Fish’s Surprise Attack

“What is this? What in the world is happening?”

When Tou and Yue Ye Si were entangled in their intense session, Qiao Qiao secretly circled behind a wooden table, observing the entire spectacle unfold.

Initially, seeing Yue Ye Si biting Tou, she had assumed it was a genuine punishment.

Yet, the further she watched, the more outlandish it became.

Kisses? And then, after being bitten, feeling immense pleasure? Even craving more?

Enduring painful bites without anger, instead praising Tou as exceptional, ultimately declaring her affection for him?

Qiao Qiao’s mind was a whirlwind of utter bewilderment.

She remained frozen in place for a long time, utterly unsure how to proceed.

She believed that Yue Ye Si would surely be bitten to death by Tou, and without Yue Ye Si’s backing, the punch she had forcefully landed on Tou’s stomach earlier would undoubtedly invite his retaliation.

The last thing she wanted was to be devoured!

‘What should I do? What can I do?’

Her first instinct was to flee, to run home to her mother.

But just as she lifted her foot…

“Ah, I’m going to be eaten! Little Tou!”

Yue Ye Si’s cries once again reached her ears, and she found herself unwilling to simply leave.

Gathering her courage, she picked up the kitchen knife that had been used earlier to prepare the Tofu Fish, and with trembling steps, approached the two figures entwined.

By this point, Tou had rolled over, now sprawled atop Yue Ye Si, fully indulging his primal desires!

Neither of them noticed Qiao Qiao’s arrival.

Qiao Qiao’s hands, however, were shaking uncontrollably from fear.

Tou’s back was currently turned to her; if she were to stab him with the knife, she could surely save Yue Ye Si!

Killing a fish with a knife was simple enough, but asking her, at her tender age, to take a human life? How could she possibly accept such a thing!

Not only were her hands trembling now, but her heart had begun to waver, and her legs involuntarily recoiled a step.

“Eek! What in the world is that?!”

Just as she contemplated escape, Ji Jie’s scream suddenly erupted from behind her.

Qiao Qiao spun around, startled to find the pool churning like a boiling cauldron.

Ji Jie had already leaped out of the water, completely naked, seemingly terrified of something unseen.

“Chee-choo!”

A Tofu Fish, twice the size of a human, burst from the water, sending a colossal splash into the air.

Countless tiny Tofu Fish could be seen blowing bubbles beneath the surface, where the water continued to churn.

“Chee-choo!”

The large fish leaped from the water once more, emitting a sound as melodious as a musical instrument.

“Such a… such a huge fish!”

Qiao Qiao stood dumbfounded.

She had never before encountered a Tofu Fish of such immense size, and observing the countless small fish churning on the surface, her ten fingers simply weren’t enough to count them all!

“Idiot! What are you doing? Do you want to be eaten?”

With each powerful leap and descent, the enormous Tofu Fish rapidly advanced, its target precisely the direction where Qiao Qiao and the other two stood!

Why had Ji Jie fled? Because this Tofu Fish was a Golden Body realm demonic beast!

Had she not cast off her bath towel in a ‘golden cicada shedding its shell’ maneuver, she would have been devoured by this fish long ago!

“Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish! Swish!”

Having leaped, she lunged at the Tofu Fish, while seven golden stars materialized beside her.

Each star seemed to hold an infinite number of swords, which shot forth like a barrage of arrows towards the leaping body of the Tofu Fish.

“Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang! Clang!”

However, the Tofu Fish’s translucent scales were like the hardest metal; her attacks proved utterly ineffective against it!

“Chee—”

Provoked by the attack, the Tofu Fish let out an enraged cry, then turned and lunged at Ji Jie.

‘This is bad!’

Ji Jie felt a dreadful premonition.

She had not anticipated that her most powerful attack would inflict not even the slightest damage on this Tofu Fish.

Moreover, she was now so close to the creature that it could simply turn and swallow her whole!

The Tofu Fish showed no mercy, its mouth already agape, as numerous slender, soft tendrils, like tentacles, shot out towards her.

Upon seeing these appendages, Ji Jie’s face contorted with both terror and revulsion.

Her bath towel had been ensnared and swallowed by these very things; if her body were to be entangled, she would surely, inevitably be devoured!

“Eek!”

“Maid sister! No!”

Qiao Qiao snapped back to reality, staring fearfully at the immense fish and at Ji Jie, who was about to be swallowed whole, and she screamed.

A cold sweat broke out on her back as she regained her senses.

Had Ji Jie not charged forward, she herself would surely have been devoured by that massive fish!

She regretted her own foolishness.

If Maid sister were to be eaten like this, Qiao Qiao would hate herself for the rest of her life!

Consequently, she resolved to awaken Tou and the other person, who seemed oblivious to the unfolding chaos.

It was as repulsive as being constricted by a snake!

Suddenly, her mother’s words echoed in her mind.

She had once asked her mother what the Tofu Fish ate to grow so large.

Her mother had, in front of Qiao Qiao, pried open a Tofu Fish’s mouth and, pointing with a knife at the countless slender tentacles inside, explained:

“Qiao Qiao, when the Tofu Fish latch onto our skin, it feels very itchy because these tiny tentacles are wriggling on our skin, absorbing our sweat!”

“But they probably don’t grow big by eating just that.

Even though we bathe here every day, we never see smaller Tofu Fish, and sometimes a very large one just suddenly appears.

It’s likely they just consider our sweat a rather tasty dessert!”

The tentacles… Qiao Qiao hadn’t imagined that when Tofu Fish grew, their tentacles could become so long.

Qiao Qiao felt something wriggling around her waist.

A third large Tofu Fish!

Qiao Qiao knew instantly, without needing to think, what was wrapped around her stomach.

She detested those repulsive things!

“No, older sister!”

Qiao Qiao, her face flushed, looked towards the two people trapped nearby.

Yue Ye Si appeared to be in a state of utter bliss, while Tou, although entirely conscious, looked incredibly disheveled and distraught from being ensnared by the Tofu Fish.

He was far from comfortable; his hair was disheveled, he was tightly bound, and his scalp ached excruciatingly.

He struggled and resisted fiercely, yet this only caused the tentacles to coil around him even tighter.

He desperately wanted to shout out, to call for that idiot Four-Master to save him, but his mouth… he couldn’t even make a sound now…
