The Elixir’s Seizure

Chapter 32643 words6 min read

“Splendid! Truly, unexpectedly splendid! It appears the time has come for my grand entrance. This divine potion shall now be entrusted to my care!”

Upon hearing this sudden turn of events, Miro’s heart immediately leaped into her throat, and the deputy commander was momentarily stunned.

“Who is it?!”

Lying supine, Miro couldn’t discern the identity of the newcomer, only hearing footsteps steadily growing louder.

“Who I am is irrelevant. I am merely an ordinary passerby.”

Ordinary? Just passing by? What a load of nonsense!

The aftershocks of the battle were so fierce that any ordinary person would be knocked unconscious simply by approaching.

“Hmph! To whose faction do you truly belong?”

“You have no need to know.”

Liyahiss approached the wealthy matron, retrieving the ornate bottle from her embrace.

“What precisely are the contents of this? It’s utterly captivating!”

Liyahiss, with a playful curiosity, tossed the bottle into the air, catching it effortlessly as it descended.

“Stop! Put that down! That belongs to me!”

“Oh? Does it bear your name? Since it’s now in my hands, it’s mine~ Haha!”

“You sly, treacherous, unprincipled woman! You can’t do this!”

The thought of all her efforts being rendered futile instantly sent a surge of panic through Miro.

“Even if I do, what can you possibly do to me?”

Liyahiss advanced, step by step, towards Miro, who lay sprawled on the ground like a beached fish.

“No one can stop me from doing what I intend!”

It wasn’t until Miro’s neck was grasped and she was pulled into a sitting position that she finally saw the newcomer: a black-haired girl with twintails, adorned with a red and white fox mask.

“You need to recognize your predicament. As you are now, you can do nothing. No matter what I do to you, you cannot resist.”

Feeling the hand tightening around her neck, Miro found herself struggling to breathe.

Only when Miro’s pointed ears flushed crimson and her eyes rolled back from the lack of air did Liyahiss release her grip.

Deprived of support, Miro’s upper body instantly fell backward with a dull thud, her head making an intimate acquaintance with the ground.

“Don’t worry, I’m no demon. I’ll just borrow it for a bit and return it to you later, hehe.”

“Wait! You can’t leave! You can’t just take that!”

The blonde woman dared to offer a warning, yet received no response; the other party completely ignored her.

I’m a Super-Tier magical girl and a deputy commander, for goodness sake! Am I really so insignificant?

Then, recalling that even the white-haired witch on the other side hadn’t commanded respect, she instantly felt a sense of relief.

Once her neck was freed, Miro began to gasp for air, a faint ache still lingering as she recalled the sensation.

A short while later, a hurried flurry of footsteps echoed.

Miro tensed once more, her injuries only half-recovered. Could it be that the assailant had suddenly returned, intending to silence her?

“Your Excellency! Are you alright?”

Only upon recognizing the familiar vampire maid who was helping her up did Miro finally relax.

“Do I look alright? Hurry and take me back!”

“Yes, Your Excellency.”

The vampire maid first hoisted the white-haired girl onto her shoulder, preparing to carry her back.

“You useless thing! Why are you only arriving now? If you had come earlier, I wouldn’t have suffered such humiliation…”

“My sincerest apologies.”

After the two vampire girls departed, the guards, who had been knocked unconscious by the witch-level mental power, gradually began to stir.

“Deputy Commander! Why are you so gravely injured? Who knows healing magic? Miss Priestess, quickly!”

After several healing spells struck the deputy commander’s wounds, stemming the bleeding, the deputy commander ordered them to leave this troublesome place.
