Chen Lin said softly; seeing Lin Tong in her arms breathing steadily, she couldn’t bear to wake her.

The leader casually placed his hand on Chen Lin’s shoulder again, letting out a sinister laugh….

Just as she was about to retaliate and slap him, a clear male voice suddenly came from behind the thugs.

A man dressed in a suit with long purple hair approached with a smile.

As he spoke, he tightened his grip, causing the leader to cry out in pain and shout:

“What are you waiting for? Let go! Do you want your boss to die from pain?!”

Seeing their leader restrained, the two thugs quickly released Chen Lin; the purple-haired man then tossed the leader aside.

Though embarrassed, the group chose to retreat and ran off in defeat….

Only when the purple-haired man approached and spoke did she snap out of it:

“Emm, hello~! My name is Qingqiu; may I ask if you’re hurt anywhere, or feeling unwell?”
