The Rampaging Sleeping Beauty and the Flying Prince

Chapter 351,509 words13 min read

The boys in this class truly are something else.

It had only been a few days, yet this marked the third such occurrence.

It seemed Xiaobai was destined to become one of the school’s seven great mysteries, a situation that left me utterly bewildered, caught between laughter and tears.

“Leidi, what are your plans for later? I imagine you’ll be completely spent after just the warm-up laps, won’t you?” Xiaobai inquired, settling onto the grass beside me on my left, a hint of concern lacing her voice.

‘Honestly, my body isn’t quite as delicate as you imagine,’ I thought, though I had to admit, ‘it’s certainly not in peak condition either.’

“Once I’ve completed the warm-up laps, I’ll be resting until class ends,” I reassured Xiaobai with a smile. “Both the teacher and everyone in class are aware of it.”

“So I was the last to know, then,” Xiaobai muttered, casting a playful, yet entirely harmless, sidelong glance my way. “That’s hardly fair.”

“I simply didn’t tell you because I wanted to spare you the worry,” I explained, though a fleeting thought reminded me, ‘Despite my intentions, I only managed to worry you even more yesterday.’

“How dare you even say that!” Xiaobai exclaimed, her voice rising. “Have you forgotten how I felt yesterday? I was absolutely frantic!”

With a slight huff of indignation, Xiaobai gently stretched my cheeks from side to side, as if kneading dough.

It didn’t hurt in the slightest; she was always so tender, even if her actions momentarily rendered my speech unintelligible.

“Thorry~” I mumbled, my eyes crinkling into a comical smile as I attempted to apologize.

‘I wonder,’ a thought flickered through my mind, ‘given how I’m speaking right now, will she picture me as an octopus?’

“Pfft—you look just like an octopus right now!” Xiaobai burst out laughing, finally releasing her grip on my face.

‘I guessed correctly,’ I mused. ‘Perhaps it truly is a testament to my own intuition.’

“[Leidi-chan~ Bye-chan~ It’s time to gather,]” Takagi called out, waving to us from a short distance away.

“[Got it!]” I replied, standing up and waving back at her before smiling and taking Xiaobai’s hand.

“Let’s go.”

“Mhm,” Xiaobai affirmed, rising swiftly to her feet, but then…

Was it the sheer speed of her movement? Her chest, right before my eyes, suddenly swayed violently, bouncing up and down.

‘Is her sports bra not supportive enough?’ I wondered.

‘I… I’m so incredibly jealous.’

****

Our class was not the sole occupant of the sports field during this period.

If memory served, one of the other classes was Class A of the second year, which, for some unknown reason, had yet to arrive.

The other was a first-year class…

Class A…

At that moment, my own class was engaged in their warm-up laps.

“[Hey! Look, look! That girl from Class D!]”

“[Wow! Her chest is huge!!!]”

“[What does she eat to grow so big?]”

“[Ugh… she looks so exhausted…]”

“[It looks painful when it bounces…]”

“[The boys in Class D have been completely annihilated by her again…]”

On the football field, encircled by the running track, the students of Class A remained seated on the grass, having not yet begun their own laps.

Yet, every single one of them, both boys and girls, had their gaze fixed intently on Xiaobai.

Among the boys, Prince Aoyama seemed to be the only one with any semblance of decency; at the very least, his gaze wasn’t overtly lewd when he looked at Xiaobai.

What thoughts truly occupied his mind, however, remained a mystery.

“Ugh—”

Running abreast of me, Xiaobai appeared to have overheard their conversation, for her face flushed a vivid crimson as she instinctively clutched her hands tightly over her chest.

‘Hey,’ I thought, ‘while I understand your shyness, breasts that are so severely distorted actually look even more provocative, you know?’

“Ha—ha—Xiaobai! Just ignore them!” I gasped, trying to catch my breath. “You’ll lose your balance if you run like that!”

‘Seriously,’ I thought, ‘I’ve only completed one lap! I’m absolutely dying here.’

“I’m so shy!”

Xiaobai now even squeezed her eyes shut, utterly giving in to despair!

“Seriously, at least open your eyes, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh?!!!!” My voice suddenly shot up several octaves.

This sudden surge in my voice was because…

Why was *I* the one losing my balance first?!

The ground, a blur of stumbling instability, rushed rapidly towards me!

‘Tsk,’ I inwardly clicked my tongue. The ‘Reverse Shackle’ I wore hadn’t activated yet, and a collision like this would undoubtedly leave a scar!

“Lei-Lei-Leidi!!!!!” Xiaobai cried out, her eyes flying open in sheer panic as she frantically reached out for me.

Regrettably, it was too late.

I silently closed my eyes, bracing myself for the impending jolt of pain.

“Huh?!!!”

Abruptly, I felt an intense tug on my back.

My eyes snapped open, and the ground that had been rushing towards me now blurred into a violent, dizzying sway.

I felt my body being flung upwards by some unseen force!

The sky, now a swirling canvas above me, was the only thing I could see.

Had I somehow taken flight?!

“[Eh!]” came a chorus of surprised shouts.

A wave of astonished exclamations suddenly erupted from the surrounding crowd.

What in the world was happening?

I craned my head from side to side, desperately attempting to ascertain the current situation.

“Wah—”

With another abrupt lurch, I felt myself being caught by someone!

‘Is this a princess carry?!!!’

“I-I-I made it!”

‘Huh?!’

This voice! It was…!

I instantly whipped my head towards the source of the sound.

“Puh-mm—”

A muffled thud echoed as my face made immediate, zero-distance contact with something incredibly soft.

‘This size… it could only be…’

“Leidi, are you alright?!”

‘Xiaobai…’

‘You actually made it in time!!!!!’

“Thank you, truly, but please put me down first!” I managed to utter, my voice muffled as I struggled to lift my head from Xiaobai’s somewhat crowded embrace, made so by her ample chest. “Everyone is still watching!”

“Uh… oh…”

Xiaobai, her face a mask of bewilderment, gradually halted her steps before gently setting me down.

Glancing back, I noticed that no one was running anymore.

Every single person, including the students from Class A, stood frozen, their mouths agape, staring at us in utter disbelief.

“Leidi… what do we do?” Xiaobai asked, her face etched with concern.

“Don’t worry,” I said, offering a reassuring smile as I patted Xiaobai’s shoulder. “We’ll just spin a plausible tale.”

The situation, while awkward, was not entirely unsalvageable.

Guiding Xiaobai by the hand, I slowly rejoined the throng, raising my voice slightly with a confident smile.

“[Actually, my little sister has a rather unique nickname: ‘The Rampaging Sleeping Beauty.’]”

After witnessing such a spectacle, surely they would have no reason to doubt my words, would they?

****

A cacophony of chirps and murmurs filled the air.

The PE class had spiraled completely out of the teacher’s control; indeed, even the teachers and students from Class A had merged with the throng that now encircled Xiaobai and me.

The only individuals still diligently attempting to attend class were the newly arrived second-year students, utterly oblivious to the spectacle that had just unfolded.

While it was somewhat exhausting to field a barrage of questions on Xiaobai’s behalf and weave a tapestry of lies, the crucial thing was that they were convinced.

With this convenient explanation, any future astounding feats performed by Xiaobai could easily be dismissed as part of her “Rampaging Sleeping Beauty” persona.

‘A round of applause for my quick-witted mind, I suppose.’

“[Hey! Look out!]”

‘Hmm? Was that voice from a second-year student?’

Everyone’s gaze swiveled towards the source of the shout, yet all they could discern were students in football uniforms scattered across the pitch.

Nothing seemed amiss.

“[It’s above! The ball! The ball!]”

Instantly, every head snapped upwards, revealing a football plummeting rapidly towards them, already alarmingly close.

“[Eh?!]”

“[Wah!]”

“[Duck!]”

The crowd encircling Xiaobai and me immediately dispersed, scattering outwards from our position.

After all, no one wished to be struck by the falling object.

“Leidi! Duck!”

“Mhm!”

I instantly crouched, shielding my head with my arms.

“[Why aren’t you running!!!]”

In the periphery of my vision, Prince Aoyama appeared, his face a mask of panic as he lunged towards us.

‘Eh?! Wait! Don’t come from that direction!’

“BANG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”

A colossal sound, as if a football had detonated, reverberated through the air.

Beside me, Xiaobai had already spun around, executing a magnificent, powerful diagonal upward kick that connected precisely with the plummeting football.

In that fleeting instant,

The scene unfolding before my eyes seemed to shift into a surreal slow-motion film.

The incoming football was struck by Xiaobai…

The football warped out of shape…

Xiaobai’s foot, still connected to the now-deformed ball, then slammed directly into Prince Aoyama’s face as he lunged towards us…

Prince Aoyama’s face contorted…

Prince Aoyama…

Was sent flying.
