‘This… what is this?’ Lan Ruobing exclaimed, her gaze sweeping around the room.
A wardrobe, a bedside lamp, a bed… This was a bedroom?!
She was utterly dumbfounded.
Just moments ago, she had been in the bathtub.
Suddenly, a thought struck her, and her pupils dilated sharply.
‘How is that possible?!’
‘You have the ability to teleport?!’ she asked, utterly stunned.
Xi Xue’s lips curled into a knowing smile, as if this reaction was precisely what she had anticipated.
‘Heh, quite a quick grasp, aren’t you?’
Lan Ruobing was too shocked to speak, feeling as though she had been struck by lightning.
A chilling sensation crept up her spine.
She wasn’t shocked by the ability to teleport itself, but rather by a terrifying possibility.
Xi Xue might possess more than just three abilities.
Bloodflame, the pause-like ability, and now teleportation—three had already emerged.
On the Mythical Continent, merely awakening an ability put one ahead of over eighty percent of the population.
After discounting useless or weak abilities, fewer than ten percent of Awakeners were truly capable of combat.
Of course, special races were an exception.
These races were born with inherent racial talents and had no need for awakening, so they weren’t included in the statistics.
Yet, regardless of the circumstances, possessing dual abilities already marked one as an exceptionally gifted individual, let alone three.
Someone who awakened multiple abilities early on signified extraordinary talent.
As their level increased, they would master more and more abilities, eventually becoming an existence that looked down upon all living beings.
However, whether it was an initial awakening or a later acquisition, the Xi Xue before her was an insurmountable opponent.
If it was an initial awakening, Lan Ruobing might still find an opportunity to turn the tables.
But if it was a later acquisition, then there was no hope.
The first condition for acquiring an ability later in life was reaching Tier 7, the King-tier.
The reason Tier 7 was called the King-tier was that Tier 7 ability users on the Mythical Continent were already overlords, capable of ruling a territory.
In Huaxia, there were currently only five Kings.
Strong individuals of Tier 8 or above were unheard of.
If Xi Xue had acquired an additional ability later, then she was at least a Tier 7 existence right now.
She could effortlessly crush a Tier 5 opponent.
Gulp. A sound of swallowing.
Her current predicament was dire indeed.
‘Why… why did you participate in the Ability College Entrance Exam?’ Lan Ruobing asked, her voice trembling with confusion.
‘With your strength and talent, you could have easily been specially recruited through an interview.’
With such talent, even if she only claimed to have three abilities, the Guardian University would be scrambling to recruit her.
Yet, she chose to take the Ability College Entrance Exam?
Even more perplexing was that when they had discussed their ideals on the rooftop, she had expressed admiration for the Guard Corps and dreamed of joining them.
But she could have chosen any Guardian University she wanted!
Lan Ruobing detected a hint of conspiracy.
Xi Xue’s actions likely stemmed from some ulterior motive.
Though she didn’t know what that motive was, Xi Xue had been branded as dangerous in her mind.
She had transferred over a month ago, painstakingly befriending classmates and becoming the universally adored gentle campus belle.
The motive behind such an elaborate facade sent shivers down Lan Ruobing’s spine.
There was definitely a grand conspiracy!
Seeing the tumultuous changes in Ruobing’s expression, Xi Xue was inexplicably amused.
She probably knew what Ruobing was thinking, but was this really the right time for such thoughts?
Grabbing Ruobing’s hands, she pinned them above Ruobing’s head.
Xi Xue spoke languidly, “Now isn’t the time to be thinking about such chaotic things, is it? Hmm~”
After speaking, her gaze drifted downwards, landing on Ruobing’s chest.
The bath towel had slipped down to her belly button.
Two pristine white mounds emerged.
Their flawless perfection filled Xi Xue with a burning heat, her breathing catching in her throat.
Her face flushed intensely.
Thump-thump, thump-thump. Two hearts pounded violently.
One was fluttering like a deer, filled with the thrilling anticipation of mischief about to begin.
The other was raging in helpless fury, tense with the fear of mischief about to be done to her.
‘You, what do you want to do! Xi Xue, wait, no! Don’t do this!’
‘I’m scared!’
Noticing Xi Xue’s gaze, Lan Ruobing’s fur immediately bristled, and her small legs began kicking wildly.
But Xi Xue was pressed against her, making it impossible to kick her away!
Her legs simply couldn’t reach her!
She tried to break free from Xi Xue’s grasp, but Xi Xue’s strength was beyond her imagination.
She was utterly immobile!
Her arms ached intensely.
Gritting her teeth, she tried to use her back and waist strength to arch her body and pull her hands free.
However, the moment her chest thrust forward, she regretted it instantly.
Xi Xue’s eyes not only widened but sparkled with intense light!
From her slightly agape mouth, it looked as though drool might trickle out!
The two suddenly prominent white mounds seemed to further ignite her wicked desires.
This terrified Lan Ruobing so much that her heart momentarily stopped, and she even forgot to kick her legs.
Forgetting to struggle, she quickly spoke, ‘Wait, Xi Xue, don’t mess around! Calm down, calm down! You absolutely must calm down! This is a crime, do you know that? You’ll go to jail!’
As she spoke, she frantically urged her magic, but it felt as if her magic was locked, completely unusable.
‘What’s going on? What is this?!’
‘Is it that pause-like ability?!’
Lan Ruobing’s face turned pale.
Now, she was completely panicked!
Without magic, she was a lamb to the slaughter; being ‘taken’ was only a matter of time.
It was over, over, what could she do, what could she do?!
‘Crime?’ Xi Xue chuckled, tears welling in the corners of her eyes. ‘Doesn’t Ruobing know? On the Mythical Continent, ‘hundreds’ is legal. And even if it’s forced, you’ll at most receive criticism and education. Jail? Is that even possible?’
She watched Ruobing playfully, and when she saw her face turn to despair, a smirk tugged at her lips.
Her entire being surged with excitement, reaching an extreme pitch!
‘Ah, why, why does Ruobing always captivate me so much? She’s clearly desperate, clearly afraid and in pain, yet why do I feel like I’m on an exhilarant, utterly blissful?’
‘Ah, I can’t stand it anymore. This person is simply exquisite. Her body scent, her despair, her beauty—everything about her drives me crazy. I, I, I really…’
‘It’s so uncomfortable! My whole body is so uncomfortable! Every inch of me is screaming for me to devour her! To eat her clean!!’
‘Only by devouring her completely will I feel comfortable, truly blissful!’
‘Uh-hmm,’ pointed fangs emerged.
She couldn’t help but open her mouth, her eyes turning blood-red.
The sensation of growing fangs made her want to bite something.
Lan Ruobing’s eyes widened enormously.
‘Holy crap! What is that!’
In her vision, Xi Xue seemed on the verge of losing control.
Terrified, she quickly tried to beg for mercy.
But before she could utter a sound, she saw Xi Xue’s eyes shift from inky black to blood-red, and from her slightly agape mouth, two slender white points gradually emerged.
Fangs!
As the two points grew longer and longer, a wave of terror washed over her.
It was as if she had encountered a natural predator; every cell in Lan Ruobing’s body trembled.
In an instant, two words flashed in her mind: ‘Bloodkin.’
Terrified, she kicked her legs frantically, struggling desperately.
Her will to survive surged instantly.
‘Damn it, with Xi Xue in this dazed state, she might actually suck me dry!’
‘Help! Someone’s going to die! Who can save me! Save me!’
Lan Ruobing’s inner fear reached its peak!
She would rather let Xi Xue ‘have’ her right now than be drained dry!
She wanted freedom, but she didn’t want to die!!
