Intimate Vows and Shared Futures

In a certain room within the Palace, Jiu Hui leaned against the wall, her face flushed crimson, her black eyes shimmering with a watery sheen.

Lisa stood before her, a subtle curve playing on her lips. One of Lisa’s legs was pressed between Jiu Hui’s, occasionally brushing against her, eliciting soft moans from Jiu Hui and leaving trails of moisture on Lisa’s leg.

“Haven’t I made myself clear? Can you… can you let me go now?”

Jiu Hui’s body felt utterly weak, prompting her to speak out. She feared that if this continued, she would truly lose control.

Lisa, however, had no intention of releasing Jiu Hui. Instead, under Jiu Hui’s gaze, she sealed Jiu Hui’s lips directly.

With Jiu Hui offering almost no resistance, Lisa gently parted her pearly teeth, her tongue intertwining with Jiu Hui’s.

“Mmh~”

With her lips sealed by Lisa’s, Jiu Hui could only manage that soft sound, her body too weak to resist.

Before long, Lisa released Jiu Hui’s lips, a thin silver thread stretching between their mouths. They gazed into each other’s eyes, both shimmering with emotion, their faces flushed with a deep blush.

“Should I let you go?”

Her hands found Lisa’s neck, wrapping around it, and she pressed her lips against Lisa’s.

Lisa gazed at Jiu Hui, who had gently closed her eyes and was kissing her. Her expression flickered, then softened. She, too, wrapped her arms around Jiu Hui’s waist, returning the fervent kiss.

The kiss was deep and prolonged, the soft sounds of their lips intertwining echoing in the empty room.

Finally, Lisa also closed her eyes, her long eyelashes trembling slightly as she fully surrendered to the embrace.

After an indeterminate amount of time, their eyes fluttered open, and they gazed at each other.

Jiu Hui’s face flushed at the sight of Lisa’s gem-red eyes. She pushed Lisa away gently, then touched her own lips before giving Lisa a light glare.

“What was that for? Still not satisfied? Go back and pack your things!”

Without another word, and ignoring Lisa, she hurried to the door, pushed it open, and left.

Lisa watched the door close, then licked her lips, a slight smile playing at the corners of her mouth. She, too, exited the room.

That night, after packing their belongings, Jiu Hui and Lisa lay in bed, facing each other with Lisa holding Jiu Hui in her arms.

Perhaps exhausted from packing, Jiu Hui’s face showed clear weariness, and before long, she drifted into a deep sleep.

Unlike her usual self, Lisa made no moves on Jiu Hui. Instead, she simply watched Jiu Hui’s sleeping face, her eyes filled with a complex swirl of emotions.

After a long moment, Lisa let out a soft sigh and murmured,

“I don’t know if taking you to the battlefield is the right choice or not. But keeping you by my side is surely better than leaving you in this treacherous Royal City without me. I can’t bear to hear news of someone I care about dying again. That sudden feeling of loss is simply too agonizing.”

“Even though the battlefield is perilous, rest assured, as long as I live, you will never die.”

As Lisa spoke, a flash of unwavering determination appeared in her eyes, as if making a solemn vow to both Jiu Hui and herself.

Gently, she reached out and stroked Jiu Hui’s cheek, her gaze softening. Then, embracing Jiu Hui, Lisa also drifted into a deep slumber.

Xiao Lü looked at Xiao Lan, a flicker of surprise in her eyes, then chuckled lightly. She flicked Xiao Lan’s forehead playfully and said, “Don’t worry, I will absolutely not die. I would never leave you alone in this world, Xiao Lan.”

Xiao Lan covered her forehead, looking at Xiao Lü, her lips curving into a smile.

“It’s a promise, then. Neither you nor I can die on this battlefield.”

“Okay, it’s a promise. You can’t break it either, Xiao Lan.”

Xiao Lü said, looking at Xiao Lan.

Xiao Lan chuckled softly and nodded.

“It’s a promise.”

“Mhm.”

They gazed at each other, both smiling, then slowly drew closer until their four lips met, beginning a passionate embrace.

Moonlight streamed through the window, bathing the two embracing girls on the bed. A faint silver glow shimmered on their smooth skin, imbued with a sense of purity.

“Sleep now,” Xiao Lü whispered softly.

Closing their eyes, the room descended into silence once more, illuminated only by the soft glow of the moonlight.
