The Perilous Plunge and a Tooth’s Demise

Chapter 391,733 words15 min read

“Ah! Ahhh!”

“W-what’s happening?”

Qiao Qiao’s mother found herself tackled by Tou, who, seemingly unconscious, began to explore her body as if searching for something, employing his nose, tongue, and hands in a frantic exploration.

He explored her body with a startling, almost violent intensity.

Just as Qiao Qiao’s mother considered taking their intimacy a step further, Tou abruptly clutched his head, letting out a tormented scream.

His head throbbed with an excruciating ache, as if something within his skull was slowly gnawing at his very brain.

Having long forgotten the events that led him here, and utterly oblivious to his surroundings, he was consumed by an overwhelming, life-and-death agony.

To Qiao Qiao’s mother, Tou appeared to have lost his mind, clutching his head and writhing on the ground, occasionally even striking his forehead against the unforgiving earth in a desperate act of self-harm.

Even as blood ceaselessly streamed from Tou’s forehead, staining his hair crimson, his frenzied actions showed no sign of abating.

Panic seized Qiao Qiao’s mother.

While she remained ignorant of the cause, she felt an undeniable connection to Tou’s current state.

Should anything untoward befall him, she knew she would never forgive herself.

Lacking any solution of her own, she recalled how Tou’s previous headaches had swiftly subsided when Ji Jie embraced him.

Emulating Ji Jie, she struggled to envelop the frenzied Tou in her arms.

Yet, her efforts proved futile.

If anything, they only seemed to intensify Tou’s agony.

“What am I to do? My little Tou, you absolutely cannot be harmed!”

What could she possibly do?

Qiao Qiao’s mother was consumed by a searing anxiety.

Her sole recourse was to hold Tou close, preventing him from inflicting further harm upon himself.

Still, this could not be a permanent solution.

Tou’s condition clearly showed no signs of improvement; his headache remained agonizingly persistent.

He might very well succumb to the relentless pain.

Water!

Yes, cold water could clear a person’s head.

The water here, however, was lukewarm; she couldn’t simply immerse Tou in it.

Her only option was to escape the cave.

The air outside was frigid, and the water would undoubtedly be icy cold—a perfect remedy for Tou’s relentless headache.

Thus, Qiao Qiao’s mother, unclad, carried Tou to the mouth of the cave.

Gazing at the struggling figure in her embrace, she cast aside all hesitation and, together with him, plunged into the waterfall below.

“Plop~,” a colossal splash erupted from the water’s surface.

Perhaps her desperate measure was indeed working.

Once submerged, cradled within Qiao Qiao’s mother’s arms, Tou’s struggles began to diminish.

The contorted expression of agony on his face slowly softened, returning to a semblance of normalcy.

“Wonderful! My little Tou, you must get well quickly!”

Seeing Tou’s improvement, the heavy burden on Qiao Qiao’s mother’s heart finally began to lift.

Tou was indeed feeling much better, his headache steadily receding.

As his consciousness gradually sharpened, the memory of the preceding events ignited an uncontrollable fury within him.

To make matters worse, the detestable woman who had caused his torment still held him captive, cradling his head as if he were a mere rag doll.

“You wretched swine! Agh! Let me go!”

“Oh my, my adorable little Tou, you’ve regained your vigor so swiftly! Shall we perhaps continue what we left unfinished earlier~?”

Tou found himself utterly trapped in Qiao Qiao’s mother’s embrace.

The more he struggled, the more delighted she seemed, eventually locking him in a vice-like grip.

With a raised eyebrow and a face alight with mockery, she filled Tou with an ominous sense of foreboding.

“Right here, my little Tou.

Let us plunge into an ocean of love!”

“Ocean of love, my foot! You wretched hag! Take this!”

Tou was utterly repulsed by Qiao Qiao’s mother’s seductive cooing.

Since escape was impossible, he resolved to attack until she released him, much like he had dealt with his Four-Master that night.

Opening his mouth wide enough to engulf a fist, he clamped down with all his might onto Qiao Qiao’s mother’s arm!

“Ouch! Ouch, ouch, ouch! Are you some kind of rabid dog?!”

Her skin was broken, blood welled, and she imagined two rows of teeth marks might even be etched into her bone.

Such agonizing pain was surely unbearable for anyone!

In an instant, Qiao Qiao’s mother released her grip, frantically flailing her arm, desperate to dislodge Tou from where he clung to her.

But it was not so easily done.

Tou, a true glutton through and through, had never once allowed anything to be snatched from his grasp.

No matter how Qiao Qiao’s mother thrashed, Tou’s grip on her arm remained unyielding.

“Little Tou Tou, if you don’t release me immediately, don’t blame me for what comes next!”

Tou had a weakness, and as a young boy, he was at his most susceptible to shame.

All she needed to do was expose her alluring body before him.

The best outcome would be for Tou to feel utterly mortified and retreat from her presence.

An even better result would be if Tou, just like last time, experienced a sudden nosebleed and fainted.

Then, she could do with him as she pleased!

While her imagination painted a delightful picture, reality was far more unforgiving.

It was the dead of night, the moonlight offered little illumination, and submerged in the water as they were, even their close proximity afforded no clear view.

Her earlier threat had failed to deter Tou; instead, he had merely shifted his bite to a new, even more sensitive spot, intensifying Qiao Qiao’s mother’s pain.

This only fueled her determination, and she began to drag Tou deeper, swimming towards the very center of the lake.

In the lake’s heart glowed a luminous pearl, casting an exceptionally bright light.

In its radiant glow, Tou inadvertently witnessed something he shouldn’t have.

He distinctly remembered that little Qiao Qiao’s area had been completely bare, devoid of even a single strand of hair.

Qiao Qiao’s mother’s, however, was dark and remarkably lush.

And Tou’s head, that blasted Qiao Qiao’s mother had deliberately pushed it closer.

Despite being underwater, the water was crystal clear, and the luminous pearl shone brightly…

The sight of *that thing*, swaying back and forth like seaweed, was inescapable, whether he wished to see it or not.

With a series of frantic gurgles, little Tou’s head, seemingly smoking and bubbling, plunged beneath the surface.

While his martial artist’s physique allowed Tou to sustain his breathing underwater using spiritual energy, little Tou appeared to have been submerged for an unusually long time.

Qiao Qiao’s mother was utterly distraught.

She began to dive, but as an ordinary person, how deeply could her body possibly descend?

Reaching her physical limit, she resurfaced.

Unwilling to give up, she dove repeatedly, yet little Tou remained elusive.

Fearing that Tou might truly be lost beneath the waves, she scrambled ashore, hastily grabbed three leaves, and sprinted towards home.

She had to inform Yue Ye Si of Tou’s predicament without delay.

Yue Ye Si was incredibly capable; surely, she would know what to do!

Tou remained submerged for an extended period, knowing that the “pervert” Qiao Qiao’s mother was still above.

He swam resolutely in one direction, and after a considerable while, his small head finally broke the surface of the lake, not far from the shore.

Coincidentally, he witnessed Qiao Qiao’s mother’s hasty departure.

He had, it seemed, narrowly escaped a disaster.

“Hehehe! Next time someone dares to provoke me, I’ll bite them to death! Having these little teeth is truly wonderful~♪ Simply wonderful~♫”

“Aghhh!!!”

Little Tou clambered onto the shore, overjoyed by the thought of his formidable teeth.

He bounced and hopped adorably, but having just emerged from the water without shoes, the path was treacherous and slick.

Then, in an unfortunate misstep, Tou tumbled face-first into the mud.

As he fell, his chin struck the ground first, and he distinctly saw a silver-white, blood-stained object go flying.

“Wuwu~~(>_<)~~My tooth~~”

Tou pitifully retrieved the small canine tooth that had flown from his mouth.

The physical pain was negligible compared to the anguish in his heart.

How could he ever feast heartily again in this state?

How could he possibly bite villains now?!

His fragile heart could not endure such torment.

With a sudden tilt of his head and a kick of his legs, he succumbed to unconsciousness.

Moments after Tou lost consciousness, two figures, cloaked in black, emerged from the shadows.

Their attire was identical to that of the Black-clad Swordsman Ji Jie had encountered in the forest in the previous chapter.

“Tsk, tsk, tsk, is this fellow an utter fool?” remarked one of the taller figures, poking Tou’s small cheek with a finger, shaking his head, and clicking his tongue.

“Such a beautiful woman, practically given to him, and he still managed to escape.

He truly brings shame upon us men.”

“Brother,” the shorter figure interjected, “what are we to do?

Our master instructed us to monitor the Qiao family’s movements, not to apprehend anyone!

We should really conceal ourselves.

It wouldn’t do to be seen!”

The shorter black-clad man gestured dismissively.

They were Ji Jie’s operatives, having followed her since she departed the town, and had consistently acted under her direct command.

This time, however, the taller black-clad man clearly intended to disregard Ji Jie’s orders and stir up trouble.

Fearing Ji Jie’s retribution, he swiftly cautioned the taller man against meddling in affairs that weren’t theirs.

“Are you daft?” the taller man retorted, lowering his voice.

“This is precisely the man our master desires!

If we present him to her now, she’ll be too busy praising us to ever consider punishment.”

The taller black-clad man lowered his voice further, revealing a small jade bottle in his hand.

He pried open Tou’s mouth and administered its contents.

“I’ve given him a powerful sleeping draught; he won’t awaken for at least a day,” he declared.

“You remain here and keep watch, while I take him to our master!”
