Reshape: This ability allows for the complete transformation or restoration of all things, with the resulting quality and degree of recovery contingent upon the reshaper’s inherent capabilities.
Xia Yi: “!!!”
Though the Book of World Cleansing offered merely two concise lines describing the Reshape ability, Xia Yi found himself utterly consumed by excitement.
The sheer thrill stemmed from those two pivotal words in the description: ‘all things.’ This revelation signified that, provided his own power proved sufficient, Xia Yi could transform any object into whatever he wished.
He could, for instance, directly transmute a mere pile of top-tier materials into a divine artifact, thereby circumventing the arduous task of seeking out a master forger.
Alternatively, he could reconfigure a formation array to achieve a specific outcome, perhaps reshaping a lethal killing array into a complex composite, complete with a maze array, a repair array, and an illusion array, among other possibilities.
For Xia Yi, the Reshape skill wasn’t merely useful; it promised an unparalleled utility that bordered on miraculous.
Possessing what amounted to a low-tier conversion table, Xia Yi now saw myriad of his grandest aspirations within reach.
Naturally, the resulting quality or extent of restoration would remain directly proportional to the reshaper’s power, a crucial counterbalance preventing the skill from becoming overly monstrous.
Xia Yi himself surmised that, given his current early-stage Foundation Establishment cultivation, he would likely be limited to reshaping only low-grade formations, rudimentary spirit swords, or flying swords—and even then, success wasn’t guaranteed.
Until he put it into practice, however, all these notions remained mere fanciful speculation.
Although an overwhelming urge to return to the Myriad Treasure Pavilion villa and begin his experiments immediately surged within him, Xia Yi managed to restrain himself.
After composing himself, Xia Yi rejoined Bing Yingying in bed, holding her close as he slipped into a peaceful slumber.
He harbored no desire for his newly wedded wife to awaken only to find her husband absent. Even if Bing Yingying might not particularly mind such a trifle, Xia Yi still wished to ensure their initial experience concluded on a perfectly harmonious note.

The following morning, Bing Yingying stirred from a warm, comforting dream, her slender eyelashes fluttering softly before she languidly opened her eyes.
Her gaze immediately fell upon her beloved’s tender eyes, and a wave of sweetness washed over Bing Yingying as she nestled her exquisite form fully into Xia Yi’s embrace.
“Husband darling~”
A syrupy, affectionate murmur emanated from his arms, and Xia Yi held the person nestled within his embrace with tender adoration.
Yet, in a matter of mere seconds, Bing Yingying ceased her playful endearments, a sudden stillness descending upon her.
“What’s wrong?”
“Husband, is Yingying very useless?”
“Hmm? Not at all, how could you even suggest such a thing? My dear wife, what prompts such a question?”
“Then why is my husband still so… spirited?”
“Ah, well…”
“Then Yingying will help her husband.”
“Eh? Yingying, wait a moment! We still need to go pay our respects to your esteemed parents shortly.”
“Paying respects can certainly wait; it wouldn’t hurt them to tarry a little longer. It’s truly no bother.”
“Ah… wouldn’t that be improper?”
Merely half an hour later.
Bing Yingying had already been rendered utterly ‘incapacitated.’
With a sigh of resignation, Xia Yi, prioritizing the greater scheme of things, halted his movements and tenderly lifted Bing Yingying into his arms.
He certainly had no desire to face the peculiar and subtly knowing glances of his father-in-law and mother-in-law on their very first morning.
“Hus…band?”
“It’s quite alright, my dear wife; I feel much better now. Let us prepare to go and offer our respects to your parents.”
“Mmm…”
Bing Yingying offered only a faint murmur in response, leaving it ambiguous whether her quietness stemmed from sheer exhaustion or a touch of lingering disappointment.
Another hour elapsed before the two finally completed their ablutions. Bing Yingying, wiping the corner of her lips, cast a subtly resentful glance at Xia Yi, who was still supporting her.
Xia Yi, feigning ignorance, led Bing Yingying back to the Myriad Treasure Pavilion villa after they had paid their respects to Bing Xingwen and Chang Zhenli.
“Yi’er, why have you returned so swiftly? Couldn’t you have lingered with little sister Yingying for a couple more days?”
No sooner had the pair stepped through the door than a familiar, fragrant breeze enveloped them, and the curvaceous Pei Yunxiang emerged to greet them.
“Master. Yingying, this is my Master, Pei Yunxiang…”
“And?”
Xia Yi: “Uh… and also one of my wives.”
Though Bing Yingying had long been aware of both Pei Yunxiang and Fei Miaoyun’s existence through their shared spiritual connection, confronting the reality still brought a pang of injustice to her heart.
Nevertheless, she acknowledged herself as the latecomer. What could she do? She was already engaged to this lecherous fellow. She supposed she would simply concede to the wolf’s desires.
Moreover, she was Xia Yi’s first officially wedded wife!
“Hmph, you big lecher. You don’t even spare your own Master or Martial Aunt.”
Bing Yingying playfully chided Xia Yi with an indignant huff.
Xia Yi: “Ehehe~”
“What exactly does ‘ehehe’ even mean? Never mind, Sister Yunxiang, let’s retreat indoors and simply ignore this scoundrel.”
With these words, Bing Yingying proactively took Pei Yunxiang’s hand, drawing her towards the house.
“Alright, alright, little sister Yingying, do take your time.”
Pei Yunxiang, of course, recognized Bing Yingying’s gesture as a deliberate overture, a clear expression of her desire to integrate into this unconventional family. Having harbored the very same intention, Pei Yunxiang naturally had no reason to refuse.
Just before disappearing, she glanced back, offering Xia Yi a reassuring look before following Bing Yingying back into the residence.
“Bang!”
With the resounding thud of the residence door closing, Xia Yi found himself the sole occupant of the quiet courtyard.
“Alright, then.”
Xia Yi, however, merely shrugged with an air of indifference, for he was in no particular rush to return indoors. A far more pressing matter awaited his attention.
Indeed, the very first order of business after returning home was to venture back out.
Xia Yi swiftly made his way to the Myriad Treasure Pavilion, and, by virtue of his first-class guest elder token, he was promptly escorted into an exclusive chamber.
“Guest Elder, here are all the books you requested regarding flying swords, formations, and artifact refining.”
“Mm, excellent. Just place them there. Oh, and these bottles contain some pills I’ve refined; proceed with the usual arrangements. Unless it’s truly urgent, please refrain from disturbing me. That will be all.”
“Understood.”
The attendant accepted the three bottles of pills Xia Yi offered, acknowledged his instructions, and discreetly withdrew from the room.
Within the tranquil elegance of the room, Xia Yi, his expression alight with excitement, began eagerly perusing the various tomes on flying sword craftsmanship.
Now, with his Foundation Establishment cultivation, Xia Yi had finally shed the ignominious ‘ground-chicken’ travel methods of the Qi Refining stage.
During his journey to Hanhai City, he had learned firsthand the precarious nature of hitching a ride on another’s flying sword, a practice fraught with the risk of a ‘crash’ or an unceremonious fall, not to mention the indignity of having to defer to the rider’s whims.
Having faced the harrowing prospect of being dislodged from a flying sword on three separate occasions, Xia Yi had secretly vowed to forge a flying sword exclusively his own. Never again would he be subjected to the whims of others in flight!
Initially, Xia Yi had intended to simply follow convention and acquire a passable flying sword.
However, just yesterday, he had acquired the ‘Reshape’ skill.
A daring concept, one seemingly beyond the confines of this world, began to slowly materialize within Xia Yi’s mind.
