There wasn’t much to pack—mainly clothes, daily necessities, and Amy’s toys.
All of it was stored neatly inside Letia’s dimensional warehouse, saving them from lugging around bags and bundles.
As for how they would travel, Lily suggested the simplest option—having Letia carry them through the air.
After all, once Letia revealed her true form, not only Lily and Amy, but even ten more people could ride her at once, turning it into a grand sightseeing tour.
But Letia’s face darkened immediately. She shot Lily a fierce glare.
“And why exactly should I let myself be treated like some beast of burden?”
Amy was a different matter—carrying her alone was no insult. But if Lily were included, Letia’s pride would be crushed. To have Lily ride her back… to her, that was pure humiliation.
“Hehe, here it comes—the infamous dragon pride!”
“Infamous? Worthless? Our kind once ruled the entire world! Even now in seclusion, we never forget the glory of our history!”
“Ah yes, yes—world domination, I know. But what now? Should we rent a carriage instead? Or perhaps you can drop Amy off at Grintei while I walk there myself?”
“And let you slip away? No chance. I still need to keep humiliating you!”
“You’re impossible to deal with!” Lily shouted, exasperated.
The night before had been intense—so intense Lily was left utterly broken by Letia’s merciless teasing. But Letia wasn’t satisfied, constantly forcing kisses on her, invading her most vulnerable spots at will.
To Letia, Lily was nothing more than a plaything—something she could touch however she pleased.
And though Lily had started to get used to it, she made a secret vow.
No matter how far Letia pushed her, she would not blush, her heart would not race, and she would not give her body away to instinct.
That, she decided, would be the greatest revenge.
“I’ve got an idea,” Letia finally said calmly. “I’ll just carry you in my arms.”
“And Amy?”
“You hold Amy. I’ll hold you.”
“This… this doesn’t sound safe…”
The image popped into Lily’s head—Letia holding her, while she held Amy. It seemed clumsy, unbalanced, far too easy for Amy to fall.
“Relax. That little weight is nothing to me. Just hold on tight to Amy, and if anything happens, I’ll stop immediately.”
“Well… if you’re that confident…”
“Before that though, I should… replenish a little.”
“If you’re hungry, grab something from your warehouse. Don’t you keep plenty stocked in there?”
Letia shook her head with a sly smile, her face flushed. Her gaze slid downward toward Lily’s soft curves.
“Those things aren’t nourishing. I want something more… substantial.”
Lily blinked in confusion, following Letia’s gaze downward. The realization hit her like a bolt. Her cheeks flamed red.
“Y-You don’t mean…?”
“Of course. You’ve grown well enough now—it would be a shame to let it go to waste.”
“N-No way! What kind of joke is that?! Absolutely not!”
“Afraid it’s not really up to you, is it?”
Letia lunged, pinning Lily to the ground. Lily struggled with all her might, but resistance was useless. Tears welled in her eyes as she endured Letia’s relentless advances.
—
Moments later, Letia was racing through the forest, holding Lily tightly in her arms.
Lily clutched Amy protectively, making sure the child didn’t fall. Amy, however, was having the time of her life—laughing, waving her hands in the air, as though riding the most thrilling roller coaster.
Lily’s situation was far less pleasant. Before departure, she had been subjected to Letia’s torment again. Her head was spinning, her body weak, and she was fighting with all her will just to stay conscious. She had no energy left to enjoy any “ride.”
Letia’s speed easily surpassed 500 kilometers an hour—faster than a train. The mountain cave lay about 300 kilometers from Grintei.
Within half an hour, she landed in the outskirts of the city.
The spot was remote, away from the cobblestone roads, with only a few scattered trees, short grass, and the occasional wildflower swaying in the wind.
Lily jumped from Letia’s arms, glaring at her when Amy wasn’t looking. Letia only smirked in amusement.
“Amy, do you feel dizzy?”
“Nope!” Amy chirped happily.
“Good. That’s what matters.” Lily set her gently on the grass. “Can you walk by yourself?”
“Yes!” Amy’s hands flailed with excitement.
Life in a dark cave had never been good for her. She had often seemed listless, though no one else would notice. But Lily saw it clearly.
Now, with the outside world before her, Amy’s spirit lit up.
Her eyes sparkled at the sight of Grintei’s towering city gates and bustling crowds. Within them burned an eager thirst for knowledge.
Lily smiled softly, stroking her daughter’s head.
“Amy, remember—you mustn’t tell anyone we used to live in a cave.”
“Eh? Why not?”
“Because if people find out, they’ll become suspicious. This isn’t about lying—it’s about protecting yourself. If not, there will be many who try to hurt us.”
“Mm… okay!” Amy nodded firmly. “No telling about the cave!”
“If anyone asks, just say we lived in a village. Beyond that, say you don’t know. I’ll handle the rest.”
“Mm! We lived in a village!”
“Good girl.” Lily ruffled her hair again.
Then her eyes turned cold, locking on Letia.
“You heard me, right? We lived in a village.”
“I’m not an idiot. You don’t have to repeat it to me.”
“Hehe, for a moment I thought you’d say, ‘Dragon pride does not allow me to lie!’”
“Don’t twist it. This isn’t about lying—it’s about honor. Don’t try to bind dragons with your silly values.”
Lily cast her a disdainful glance. To her, Letia was truly impossible.
“What?” Letia’s eyes sharpened dangerously. “Think I haven’t disciplined you enough yet?”
“Eek!” Lily instantly covered her chest out of reflex.
“Don’t forget—if it’s about pleasure, that’s one thing. But if it’s about feeding… then it can happen anytime, anywhere.”
“You—! Not in public, you hear me?!”
“Oh? So a quiet alley would be acceptable?”
“T-That’s not what I meant!”
Letia ignored her protests, moving closer with a predatory smile. Lily stumbled backward in panic, while Amy simply watched with wide, curious eyes—utterly clueless about the tension between her two mothers.
Then Letia caught Amy’s innocent expression.
She froze, realizing at once how this must look.
Quickly, she forced a smile, patting Amy’s head while putting on a playful tone.
“Mommy Letia was just playing around with Mommy Lily!”
“Playing? Really?” Amy tilted her head. “It didn’t look like playing. It looked like you were bullying her.”
“Me? Bully Lily? Never! We’re very much in love, you know!”
“In love? What does that mean?”
“In love is…”
Letia faltered, not knowing how to explain. Her eyes darted toward Lily, silently begging for help.
Lily pouted, but reluctantly slipped her arm around Letia’s.
Letia stiffened at first, but Lily’s gesture left her no room to resist.
“In love just means… we get along really well!” Lily said cheerfully. “See? Mommy Letia and I are so close, we’re even holding onto each other.”
“I wanna be in love too!” Amy laughed, throwing herself into Lily’s arms.
“Of course, of course—we’ll all be ‘in love’ together!”
