Revenge Plan

Chapter 41 • 2,170 words • 19 min read

Ren Anhua held two bags of potato chips, feeling an uncomfortable sensation from behind.

Those two girls were just too earnest.

Despite her repeated refusals, they still fulfilled their promises.

Chen Yi gave her two bags of potato chips, while Liu Shi had truly prepared a sumptuous dinner to treat her.

Because her conversation with Chen Shu had ended on a sour note, Ren Anhua had left midway, leaving a lot of food on her tray.

Worried that the child would go hungry, Liu Shi insisted that Ren Anhua finish the dinner before leaving.

Although the Sukumizu Bio-Suit could indeed help consume a large amount of food for storage, everything had its limits.

To remind Ren Anhua of this limit, the bio-suit would inform her when to stop by adjusting the inflation of its internal tentacles.

That was why Ren Anhua felt a bit uncomfortable from behind.

However, her current situation was still manageable; it was just a slightly more intense foreign body sensation inside her.

According to Ke Xingmei’s description, if she truly exceeded this limit and reached the bio-suit’s storage capacity, the consequences would be severe.

Due to the bio-suit, Ren Anhua’s body had now lost the ability to defecate, so any food that couldn’t be stored could only return the way it came.

In other words, the bio-suit would trigger a severe vomiting reaction, forcing Ren Anhua to throw up all the excess food.

Ren Anhua imagined the scene and shuddered.

She decided not to eat for the next few days, at least until the foreign body sensation subsided.

In this state, the bio-suit would provide Ren Anhua with a strong sense of fullness by regulating her blood sugar levels and the inflation of the tentacles in her stomach, which reduced her appetite to nearly zero, leaving her with no desire to eat at all.

Ren Anhua stood atop a wall, trying to get her bearings.

Night had fallen, and the afterglow of the sunset had faded.

She could only rely on the faint light of the night sky to determine her position.

She remembered Shi Mu saying that the chosen house was the third one behind Chen Shu’s.

She had to climb up the fourth wooden plank on the left wall and then go straight down past three houses to get there.

Shi Mu’s directions were simple and clear, and he had provided instructions on how to get there from the top of the wall, just as Ren Anhua had requested.

But now, Ren Anhua felt she had made things unnecessarily complicated for herself.

She shouldn’t have been so intrigued by the novelty of walking along the Mutual Aid Society’s plank-covered walls; walking through the alleys would have posed no danger to her.

If she had just decided to take the alleys from the start, she probably wouldn’t be facing the embarrassing predicament of being lost now.

Ren Anhua carefully tried to distinguish the Youth Palace and Chen Shu’s house in the darkness to pinpoint her location, but it proved quite difficult in the night.

However, Ren Anhua wasn’t in a hurry.

Based on the timing from yesterday, there was still some time before those little gadgets of hers activated.

She wasn’t worried about Chen Shu’s tight lips either.

She now had a new idea for her healing ability, a direction for developing its offensive capabilities.

It would just take a little time for training and testing.

She planned to use that fake camp as the first sacrifice; it wouldn’t be too late to deal with them after she had familiarized herself with her ability.

Of course, although she wasn’t in a rush, it was still better to gather the necessary information sooner rather than later.

Ren Anhua had already arranged with Chen Shu and his group to join them on their resource-gathering trip tomorrow.

She planned to show them a thing or two tomorrow.

After seeing her strength, Chen Shu probably wouldn’t be so stubborn.

Having roughly determined her direction, Ren Anhua jumped down from the wall, landing in the small courtyard of a stranger’s house.

From a small yard like this, she probably only had to dash through two more properties to reach her assigned new digs.

Just as Ren Anhua was about to move forward, she was drawn in by a familiar sound.

The last time she heard such a sound was outside Tang Yunxuan’s door.

She didn’t expect to run into it again just a few hours later.

‘Do the people of the Mutual Aid Society have this much energy?’

With a mischievous thought, Ren Anhua used her old trick again, activating her anti-gravity field and sneaking up to the second floor from outside the wall.

Just like with Tang Yunxuan, the window at the source of the sound was not closed, with only a curtain painted with blue sky and white clouds blocking the view.

But the slapping sounds and low moans that reached her ears seemed a bit too clear.

Ren Anhua quietly pulled back the curtain, parting the clouds to see the sun, and the scene that met her eyes was one of genuine carnal engagement.

Ren Anhua quietly let the curtain fall back into place, pretending she had never been there.

A hormonal teenager like Tang Yunxuan was one thing, but when it came to a serious practitioner like this, she didn’t have the standing to play a prank.

By the time the lost, pink-haired girl found her assigned house, it was already very late.

Ren Anhua didn’t see Shi Mu and guessed he had probably already gone to sleep.

Unable to find anyone to ask for directions, Ren Anhua could only endure the tingling numbness in her abdomen and, supported by her anti-gravity field, move her jelly-like legs to open doors one by one in search of a bedroom.

By the time she lay down on the bed, she was completely unable to walk.

There was nothing else she could do but sleep.

Even after leaving, Bai Rui was still, through some subtle means, ‘helping’ Ren Anhua maintain a healthy sleep schedule.

Lying in bed, Ren Anhua felt something in her right pocket poking her uncomfortably.

She fished it out and found it was Tang Yunxuan’s ruler.

The scene of the ‘serious practitioner’ lingered in her mind.

As if guided by a phantom, Ren Anhua took off her sweatshirt, pressed the ruler against her lower abdomen, and used the starlight from the window to compare the length.

“That’s too exaggerated. Someone would die, right?”

The pink-haired girl had no more thoughts.

Having come to terms with her own proportions, she tossed the ruler aside and soon fell asleep.

In the quiet of the night, the entire Mutual Aid Society was deep in slumber.

But in the industrial district, the Survivor Camp was like a city with its lanterns just being lit, still engaged in a late-night carnival.

Compared to the Mutual Aid Society, the Survivor Camp showed no signs of resource scarcity.

They had oil drums spaced out, burning wood from who-knows-where for light.

The flames shooting from the drums illuminated these madmen of the apocalypse.

Some were skewering unknown meat with iron rods for a crude barbecue, while others were engaged in their unique creation: ‘zombie entertainment.’

The cruel games that couldn’t be inflicted on their own kind had found an excellent vessel in this apocalyptic world—zombies.

The specially captured zombies were tied to iron frames one by one.

Adu twirled a throwing knife in his hand, took brief aim, and then fiercely hurled it at the zombie tied up in front of him.

“Damn, you’re aiming for the chest again. You’ve nearly turned that thing into a pincushion.”

A burst of laughter came from behind Adu.

This was one of their few forms of entertainment in the apocalypse.

“Not even close. Let’s see if I can challenge my limit today and stick thirty of them on her. The last one was too small; you can’t blame my technique for that.”

Adu pulled out another throwing knife and threw it again, landing it firmly on the female zombie’s full bosom.

“Brother Du is awesome!”

The cheers from behind made Adu very satisfied.

The female zombie tied to the iron frame was wearing a white shirt.

Although her skin had turned a deathly gray, one could tell she had been a beauty in life.

Even now, she could be described as beautiful, especially the two plump mounds on her chest, which, combined with her slender waist, created a strong visual impact.

Especially when those two mounds were riddled with throwing knives, swaying with the zombie’s struggles, the cruel and alluring scene kept the eyes of these apocalyptic madmen glued to it.

This was a rare beauty.

Even in the vast horde of zombies, finding one like this required a good bit of luck.

Adu thought to himself that he must break his record and not let this zombie go to waste.

But just as he was about to throw the next knife, his attention was captured by a figure slowly descending from the sky.

It was a man in a sharp suit with neatly slicked-back red hair.

“What the hell is that thing?” a cry of surprise came from the crowd behind Adu.

What he didn’t know was that this very cry marked the beginning of their end.

“What did you just say… ‘thing’?”

Upon hearing that, the man in the suit seemed to become quite displeased.

“I clearly descended using an anti-gravity field. Isn’t that enough to prove my identity as a human?”

At these words, the crowd immediately burst into laughter.

“Hahaha, human, he said human. This dumbass is hilarious. And what the hell is an anti-gravity field, hahaha.”

In their eyes, the man in the suit was, of course, a human.

After all, a talking zombie had never appeared before.

Having been cooped up in this remote county, they had never even seen a Level Three zombie, so it was naturally impossible for them to doubt the man’s human identity.

So, to them, the man in the suit saying he was human was like stating the obvious.

His serious attitude made it even more ridiculous.

But those words, when they reached the ears of the man in the suit, clearly took on a different meaning.

He felt that his identity as a human had been questioned.

Lacking entertainment, they seemed to seize every opportunity that could stir their emotions.

Especially when faced with an outsider who was still dressed to the nines in a suit during the apocalypse, their sadistic urges were aroused.

Once one person took the lead, the others blindly followed suit, laughing hysterically.

The man in the suit walked towards them step by step, yet they were completely unaware of the gravity of the situation.

In their minds, they should first thoroughly mock this idiot with the anti-gravity ability who didn’t know his place.

Then they would capture him and kill him in the cruelest way possible, to teach him that some acts were not to be put on.

But Adu sensed a rising danger from this man in the suit.

The industrial district had been divided into three zones by their leader, “Ren Anhua,” and he, Adu, was the leader of this Third Zone.

The reason he was appointed leader wasn’t because of his strength, but because of his intuition for danger.

For a secondary team, being able to avoid risks was the most important thing.

Facts had proven their leader’s choice was correct.

It was because of Adu that the Third Zone’s squad had escaped death several times.

But this time, Adu felt he couldn’t escape.

One minute later, the entire area was silent.

The man in the suit casually tossed Adu’s head aside.

He had already confirmed it: everyone present who couldn’t float with anti-gravity was dead.

“A bunch of liars.”

The man in the suit flicked the blood from his hands, then took a handkerchief from his collar and wiped them.

Ever since Ren Anhua had reminded him of his smell, he had become very particular about his personal hygiene.

But the dark red of his short hair seemed to have soaked into the roots and couldn’t be washed out no matter what, so he had to leave it as it was.

The news of the Third Zone’s annihilation reached the ears of their leader, “Ren Anhua,” the next morning.

How infuriating, how arrogant.

This “Ren Anhua” had never imagined that those insects from the Mutual Aid Society would dare to counterattack like this.

The “Survivor Camp’s” plan for “revenge” against Chen Shu began to be meticulously formulated.

On the second day, Ren Anhua still woke up very early.

Hogging the bathroom, she stared at her reflection in the mirror, only daring to go out after confirming that the heart-shaped pupils had completely disappeared.

After breakfast, Chen Shu’s team was already on standby, ready to begin a new day of resource gathering with Ren Anhua.
