A Sister’s Devotion

Chapter 43756 words7 min read

Su Jin remained in her sleepwear all day, a simple gray sleep dress akin to a strappy sundress. This dress, which she had worn for a couple of years, barely fit now, as her figure had grown significantly, especially her bust and legs.

‘If I could just grow a bit taller,’ Su Jin thought, adjusting the straps and sighing. Her outfit couldn’t hide her curves, especially with the low-cut neckline revealing a deep cleavage. Yet, she wasn’t bothered, knowing her brother wouldn’t mind, and no one else could see her anyway.

She gently rocked Chu Xin, whispering, ‘Brother… Brother…’ But Chu Xin only furrowed his brow, muttered something in his sleep, and returned to snoring.

Understanding his deep sleep, Su Jin tiptoed back to her room, retrieved a pair of earplugs she used for studying, and quietly returned. She slipped off her slippers, carefully climbed onto Chu Xin, and gently inserted the earplugs into his ears. After a moment of observation, ensuring he remained undisturbed, she breathed a sigh of relief.

Now that Chu Xin was earplugged, Su Jin could move more freely. She leaned down, her hair cascading over Chu Xin’s face as she meticulously ‘cleaned’ his body, avoiding any sensitive areas that might wake him, such as his neck and face. Unbuttoning the top three buttons of his shirt, she exposed his slender neck and gently kissed it, checking for any reaction. Satisfied, she continued her inspection, her cheeks flushed and breath shallow.

She carefully examined the faint hickey she had left on his collarbone, feeling a mix of panic and satisfaction. The mark seemed like a secret promise between them, a symbol that Chu Xin would never leave her. Looking at the phone beside him, she saw no alarm set, meaning she had plenty of time.

Su Jin decided to test the hypnosis app, stopping her movements. If it worked, she could avoid these sneaky encounters. She stood up, retrieved her phone from the bedside table, and activated the app, whispering, ‘Hypnotize Chu Xin to depend on his younger sister…’

Suddenly, a loud error sound blared, nearly waking Chu Xin. Su Jin watched in alarm as his eyes flickered open, then closed again. Checking her phone, she saw a message: ‘Upgrade: Level too low. Unable to perform current function. Please upgrade and try again.’ It was the same font as the task notifications.

Su Jin remembered the task she had posted: ‘Task 1: Find two potential individuals with similar abilities. Reward: Upgrade hypnosis level to 2.’ She realized she would need to venture out more, but wasn’t sure if the task required finding people with similar apps or mind-control abilities.

Not wanting to waste more time, Su Jin lay beside Chu Xin, wrapping her arms around him and breathing in his scent. His presence was comforting, making her want to stay forever. But she knew she couldn’t. Rising, she knelt beside him, summoning her courage for another deep kiss, lingering for a couple of minutes, feeling his warm breath on her lips. She was captivated by his features and gentle nature, determined to keep him close.

After ensuring everything was in order, she checked the time. Half an hour had passed, and Chu Xin would likely wake soon. She quietly left, forgetting to erase all traces of her presence. She had been waiting at the entrance, unaware of the mess she left behind.

Back in her room, Su Jin wondered if she had left too early. Half an hour later, Chu Xin stirred, feeling refreshed as if recovering from a fever. He checked the time, seeing it was just past six. He had enough time for leisure, a shower, and homework. He vaguely remembered a dream about Su Jin using the hypnosis app on him, but dismissed it as a fantasy.

He messaged Ji Yue Xuan, who replied instantly, ‘Okay~ I’m doing homework, darling~’ They chatted briefly before Chu Xin noticed a notification on his dating app. A task had been completed, but he couldn’t see the details. He shrugged, not caring about the reward. Shutting off the silent mode, he noticed his room was a mess, unlike his usual tidy self. He figured it must be his fault for moving around in his sleep.

After washing up and tidying the kitchen, he filled the bath and called out to Su Jin, ‘The bath is ready, come wash up.’ Su Jin, flushed and expressionless, emerged from her room, shaking her head. ‘You go first,’ she said softly.
