Is squeezing yourself dry a form of exercise?

Chapter 431,121 words10 min read

500 years ago, Mira still couldn’t take on human form.

She remained a little brown fox, happily playing in the forest.

But the forest was full of traps left behind by humans, and Mira accidentally stepped into a beast trap.

Her front paw instantly bled heavily.

Mira struggled desperately, but no companions of her own kind were around.

She trembled in pain, unable to free herself.

It just so happened that Letia passed through the forest at that time.

Letia rescued Mira, casting healing magic for her.

The wound on her paw closed rapidly.

Although it still hurt, it was no longer a big problem.

Letia soon bid farewell to Mira, but the little fox limped after her.

Letia gently patted Mira’s head, telling her there was no need to follow.

But Mira didn’t want to leave.

She wanted to stay by Letia’s side forever, to follow her to the ends of the earth.

Yet Letia flew away first, her speed leaving Mira far behind.

Later, Mira found out that Letia was a princess of the Dragon God clan.

The elves had once proposed marriage, hoping to wed their youngest daughter to Letia.

But Letia had run away from home.

Mira couldn’t help but believe Letia was waiting for her.

Maybe Letia had fallen in love with her at first sight too, and had given her time to grow stronger.

So Mira trained diligently, until 500 years later she finally transformed into human form.

She asked her mother to propose marriage on her behalf, longing to marry Letia as soon as possible.

Lady Karina seemed delighted.

Though she didn’t directly agree, Mira was sure it was almost settled.

Every day, Mira dressed herself up brightly, waiting for the wedding day.

But then an unbelievable sight appeared before her.

Letia was getting along with another girl.

They were talking and laughing together, looking perfectly at ease.

And beside them was a young child.

The child looked like Letia—yet also like that woman by her side.

Could it be… their child of love?

“Why… why do you need another girl, when you already have me?”

Dark resentment seeped from Mira as she clenched her tiny fists, glaring at Lily’s back.

“Dragons can only have one child in their whole life…”

Mira had long known this truth.

A dragon only produces one mature cell in its lifetime.

When joined with their beloved, that cell is passed on, and the partner takes on the role of nurturing the dragon egg.

Mira had already prepared herself.

She would often stroke her little belly unconsciously, imagining Letia sowing the seed of life within her, raising a dragon child in her body.

But now someone had stolen that chance first.

Who was this shameless thief?

Mira bit her lip hard, glaring at Lily.

The woman had long silver hair and a gentle look.

Mira compared herself against her.

She too was gentle, even if she didn’t have silver hair—she was playful and cute, surely enough to awaken Letia’s protective desire.

In terms of cuteness, Mira would never lose.

So why?

Why had Letia not come to marry her, but instead offered herself to Lily?

Her resentful gaze roamed up and down, soon spotting what Lily had that she lacked.

The chest!

Lily’s soft curves were full and rounded, while Mira’s body was still flat as a board.

If it came to intimacy, surely Letia would prefer someone bigger…?

Tears welled in Mira’s eyes as she touched her chest.

Why couldn’t she grow?

Why was she stuck with a washboard body?

She too wanted to be voluptuous, to be cherished and played with by her beloved Letia!

Unless… unless Lily had seduced Letia first?

Did Lily truly love her?

Or was she only climbing her way up by tying herself to a dragon princess?

“Heh… heheheh…”

Mira rose slowly, an ominous aura spilling from her.

“I’m not like you. I love Letia with all my heart. I would give up everything for her.”

For Letia, Mira would do anything.

“I’ll expose your true face, and make Letia see the truth.

Once everything is clear, she’ll devote her whole heart to me!”

The door opened, and the housing agent stepped inside first.

Letia followed closely, scanning the place.

The room was painted a soft yellow, exuding a simple warmth.

The wooden floor looked plain, the furniture not luxurious, but still fresh enough for daily use.

The apartment had a living room, bedroom, guest room, kitchen, and bathroom.

Two bedrooms were Letia’s basic requirement.

She refused to share a bed with Lily, and would always drive her to the guest room.

“This is a layout suitable for a family of three,” the agent smiled professionally.

“Fully furnished, with magical utilities, good lighting, convenient location…”

Letia ignored him, instead opening the windows in every direction.

She needed to confirm escape routes—if her mother came after her, she might have to fight a defensive battle here.

“Miss, are you dissatisfied with the lighting?”

“Not at all,” Letia smiled faintly. “We’ll take this one.”

“Oh, thank you for your patronage! The monthly rent is 60 silver.

Pay three months upfront, that will be 1 gold 50 silver in total.”

“No problem.”

Letia pulled out two gold coins and tossed them over.

The agent quickly returned 50 silver in change, grinning widely.

“Then, Miss Letia, please sign here.”

She skimmed the contract, signed swiftly, and took the key.

The agent left with the contract in hand, while Letia called Lily and Amy in.

Lily had been keeping Amy entertained in the hallway—she had no say in house matters anyway.

“Alright, Lily, Amy, come in.”

“Already settled?”

“Three months’ rent paid. After that, we’ll return to the Dragon God homeland to face punishment.”

“Hehe, I think your mother will punish you terribly.”

“Don’t gloat,” Letia said coldly.

“I suggest you stop provoking me, or I’ll make sure you know what it feels like to be drained dry.”

Lily shuddered, recalling that reckless morning.

The food meant for their daughter had all been eaten up by Letia instead!

“Ugh! Pervert! Don’t say that in front of our daughter!”

She glanced worriedly at Amy.

The little girl poked her own cheek with her finger.

“Lily-mama, what does ‘drained dry’ mean?”

“Dr-drained dry… is… a kind of exercise.”

“Exercise?”

“Yes, a sport for two people. You’ll understand when you’re older!”

“A sport for two… can it be for many people too?”

“If it’s with a pervert, then yes, it can be for many,” Lily said, shooting a glare at Letia.

“Anyway, Amy, don’t ask anymore…”
