The Dragon Queen’s Arrival

Chapter 431,088 words10 min read

The first city on the southern border of the Kael Kingdom had been captured by the Dragon Race not long ago. Because of its proximity to the second city, it now served as the Dragon Race’s foremost stronghold in their assault against the Human Race.

After leaving the second city, Igor, along with the young men and women of the Dragon Race, returned to this very place.

Shortly after entering the city, the young man, without a word to anyone, turned and headed directly towards the grand mansion at the city’s heart.

Igor watched the young man’s retreating back, sighing helplessly. He found himself utterly at a loss when it came to this young man. His strength surpassed Igor’s, as did his status.

Though currently assigned under Igor’s command, his independent nature and perpetually cold expression left Igor powerless to intervene.

The three young women glanced at Igor, then bowed slightly before falling in behind the young man.

Seeing this, Igor shrugged in resignation and turned to leave.

At the entrance of the grand mansion, the young man paused, then spoke indifferently, “Do not follow.”

With that, he entered without waiting for the young women’s reply.

Outside the door, the three young women exchanged glances before turning to depart.

Inside, the young man walked straight through the spacious courtyard and into the grand house itself. The moment he stepped inside, a figure lunged at him, two enormous spheres instantly filling his entire vision.

Facing the figure before him, the young man did not evade. He allowed the devilishly alluring body to embrace him tightly, the two prominent spheres pressing against his chest, distorting their shape.

“How did you get here, Sister?” the young man asked, looking at the enchanting beauty with long, deep purple hair who was embracing him. For the first time, a ripple of emotion, a hint of helplessness, touched his voice.

Hearing his voice, the enchanting beauty lifted her head, a glimmer of tears seemingly sparkling in her deep purple eyes. “Is Anka angry with me, Sister?”

Anka gazed at his sister, whose expression was on the verge of tears. His usual cold demeanor softened slightly, and he helplessly reached out to stroke the enchanting beauty’s head.

“I’m not angry with you. It’s just, as the Queen of the Dragon Race, why aren’t you in the Royal Palace? What are you doing here?”

At this, the enchanting beauty’s expression instantly shifted to one of pure joy. She tightened her embrace around Anka.

“Because I missed Anka! There’s no point staying in the Royal Palace when Anka isn’t there.”

A flicker of tenderness appeared in the young man’s eyes, yet his face remained etched with helplessness.

“Sister, you are the Queen of the Dragon Race, not *my* queen.”

Hearing Anka’s words, the enchanting beauty lifted her head from his chest, her deep purple eyes fixed on him, filled with unwavering conviction. “No, I am yours first, and only then am I the Dragon Race’s!”

Anka gazed at the enchanting beauty holding him, feeling her delicate form, and his eyelids lowered slightly.

After a long moment, Anka’s thin lips parted. He looked at the enchanting beauty and spoke softly, “Sister, I am your younger brother.”

The enchanting beauty looked at Anka before her, pursed her lips, and lowered her head slightly. Then, with a sudden jerk, she lifted her head and, to Anka’s astonishment, directly kissed him on the lips. Her large, deep purple eyes gazed at him, filled with absolute resolve.

Anka watched his sister, who was holding him tightly, her wide eyes open as she kissed him. Something seemed to surge through his heart, his gaze wavered slightly, and finally, with a soft sigh, he offered no resistance, allowing the enchanting beauty to continue kissing him.

As night fell, the rhythmic thud of countless hooves echoed not far from the second city. Gradually, the sound grew louder, and soon, a large contingent of figures appeared on the outskirts, rapidly closing in on the city.

On the city walls, several armored figures watched the rapidly approaching cavalry in the distance. They hastily lit bonfires, and in an instant, the bright flames illuminated the area around the city as if it were midday.

It wasn’t long before the riders and horses halted before the city. At that moment, those on the city walls recognized the figures below, their eyes lighting up instantly.

“It’s Her Majesty the Queen!”

“It’s reinforcements!”

“Our reinforcements have arrived!”

After clearly identifying the people below, the guards on the city walls erupted in a frenzy of excitement! Since the war began, they had been constantly suppressed by the Dragon Race, losing their border defenses and the first city in quick succession.

They had been under immense pressure, and their spirits had grown even heavier upon receiving news that the defenses on the other two fronts were also in precarious states.

Now, with Her Majesty the Queen arriving in person, their repressed spirits were instantly lifted.

At the city gate, Lisa Kael rode on horseback, holding Jiu Hui in front of her.

With a creak, the heavy city gates swung open. The young woman from earlier that afternoon, leading her squad of girls in light armor, approached Lisa Kael.

“Swish!”

All the young women dropped to one knee, their heads bowed. The leading young woman spoke, “Anya, leading a squad of thirteen, begs forgiveness from Her Majesty the Queen!”

Lisa Kael gazed calmly at the young woman kneeling before her. When her eyes caught sight of a wound on the young woman’s chest, her expression shifted.

She dismounted, stood before the young woman, and inquired, “Are you injured? It looks like a fresh wound. Was this place attacked this afternoon?”

Hearing Lisa Kael’s words, the young woman’s heart stirred. She lifted her head to look at Lisa Kael, then lowered it again. “This place was not attacked this afternoon, but Igor arrived here with several exceptionally powerful members of the Dragon Race.”

“Exceptionally powerful?” Lisa Kael’s eyes narrowed. “How powerful?”

Recalling the afternoon’s events, the young woman’s gaze flickered. She stated, “I was utterly powerless to retaliate.”

Hearing this, Lisa Kael’s pupils contracted, and her expression grew somber. She was well aware of Anya’s strength; for Anya to be utterly defenseless meant their opponents’ power was far beyond ordinary.

“Let’s discuss this inside.”

With a slight nod, Lisa Kael, carrying Jiu Hui, walked into the city gates. Anya and Xiao Lü followed behind them, then the rest of the squad, and finally, the soldiers.
