[??? : Why are the standards so strict only for me?]
[Where did you learn such strange things again?]
[The growing monster Mollu]
[Monster Mollu]
[Almost like an internet ghost]
[Mollu is a human too! A human!]
[Ah, right, a human.]
[‘Humanity’]
[Wasn’t it a boob monster?]
[I’m human~]
[If you’re human, why can’t we see your face?]
[Ah]
[If you’re human, show your face]
[At least show your hands]
[Hands?]
[Hand]
[Cam]
[We need to see how you use your hands]
[How do you use your hands to make that kind of play?]
[Hand]
[Curious ^^]
[Cam]
A flood of chats rushed in.
The endpoint of their excited conversation was clear.
Hand cam. In other words, they wanted me to show my hands.
“Seriously, they only come together like this at times like these.”
Despite multiple announcements and posts after the tournament, numerous requests kept coming in.
The most frequent request was to do a cam stream, and if
that wasn’t possible, at least show the upper half of my body in a Dullahan half-cam. Or, they wanted me to return to my roots and use a hand cam.
My first broadcast was with a hand cam, so I guess it could be considered “returning to my roots.”
But I had only used it to clear up suspicions about hacking, and I had no intention of doing it again in the future. But now…
<Mollu’sPigSoup donated 10,000 won!>
But hey, if you use a hand cam and post strategy videos on YouTube, they could go viral. You’d look like a pro too.
Is that so?
In fact, pro players and those recognized as experts often use a hand cam while playing.
Even after proving I wasn’t hacking, viewers still wanted to see how my hands moved.
And there are people who would benefit from seeing the movement of the hands when playing.
I was actually surprised when I saw it.
Some people don’t even know how to move their hands and end up tangled up like twisted noodles.
Plus, for YouTube videos, having something to watch, rather than just a voiceover, would probably make it more engaging.
No matter how flashy Dragon Road’s graphics are, after all.
The more I thought about it, the more reasonable it seemed to turn on the hand cam.
I spread my white palm wide and thought about it.
But listening to what these guys were saying made me feel like I was losing, so I just flailed and tapped the keyboard instead.
[Dissecting the Balak corpse;]
[Look at the blood splatter]
[Disembowelment]
[The meat is getting squished]
[They even implemented this?]
[The graphics are insane]
[(Really amazing)]
[Ugh, gross]
[Why is this character acting like this all of a sudden?]
[This is a bit of a taste]
[The mood just turned to gore]
[Please show some respect for the corpse, teacher]
I froze for a moment, then glanced at the chat and was startled, pulling my hands away from the keyboard.
“Ah, yes. Well… it was the one who challenged me, so I made an example of them.”
[Work in progress]
[Injecting fear…]
[But it’s already dead, right?]
[The heartless Mollu]
[So it turns out you were from the Yakuza]
[Boss, come back to the organization]
[Balak showed respect as a knight]
[Ah, Sir Balak, he was a good knight.]
While thinking, I had been pressing random buttons, and before I knew it, I had become a psychopath.
Maybe it’s because the graphics are so realistic, but it really gives off a gory feeling.
Since it’s a 19+ game, it should be fine. I can just edit this part later.
I cleared my throat and casually brought up the topic.
“So, um… should I turn on the cam?”
[What?]
[All of a sudden?]
[Please, please, please turn it on, please, please, please!]
[Hehehehehe]
[Extreme]
[#]
[Rock]
[Mollu’s self-cam declaration, mark the coordinates]
[Half-cam? Hand cam?]
[It’s probably going to be the hand cam]
I felt pushed by the mood and thought I had no choice but to do it, but remembering the announcement about excessive cam requests being banned, I only poked at it once and didn’t say anything after.
In the end, I had no choice but to bring it up first.
“Well, since it’s a strategy stream, turning on the hand cam wouldn’t be so bad. You should watch and learn from Ryuah too.”
[Can you really learn just by watching? Hehe]
[How did Ryuah do that just now?]
[Mollu doesn’t understand the human heart…]
[After seeing you stab Balak’s corpse, you do seem a bit psychotic]
[I was shocked when I saw you mutilating the corpse, haha]
[Some people really do understand better when they see hand movements]
[There are a lot of weird people]
[So you’re saying you’re going to turn on the hand cam?]
[Hand cam]
[It’s been a while since I’ve seen something good]
“Please don’t say things like that. I don’t want to turn it on now.”
I connected the cam I had hidden in the corner and adjusted the position so that only my hands would be visible.
As the reactions started, I tried to ignore them and continued speaking.
“Let’s continue the strategy. Keep up.”
“This is an area I’ve never seen before.”
The lava zone, where red molten lava bubbled and boiled.
The heat was so intense that if you fell, there would be nothing left but bones.
Mollu moved across the rocks rising from the lava river.
When Mollu reached a fork in the path, the knight stopped.
“Which way should we go?”
[Well… heh]
[Wasn’t this supposed to be a strategy stream?]
[Left or right?]
[Heh]
[Coca-Cola tastes good, let’s decide with that]
[You’re bad with directions]
“I’ll just go left. If nothing comes up, I’ll just reset.”
It’s better to face the enemies than deal with a random path like this.
This pathfinding, with so much randomness, is basically just guessing.
I’m not saying I’m bad with directions, absolutely not.
There’s no one who gets it right the first time, right?
But it didn’t take long after passing the fork to realize I had taken the wrong path.
The environment around me suddenly changed dramatically, and the scenery felt ominous.
“Something feels off. Is a boss going to appear here?”
The boss that appears in each stage tends to resemble the surrounding environment.
Just as the giant knight Balak appeared in a grand temple-like building, and the fire-breathing lizard appeared in the recently passed lava area, this one would likely be influenced by the environment as well.
This is a graveyard.
Skeletons and bones, including skulls, are scattered around, and graves stretch endlessly across the area.
A boss that would appear in such a place…
“Could it be a necromancer or a lich?”
[I’ve never seen this route before]
[Someone actually comes this way]
[Graveyard is tough, haha]
[Actually, I kind of like it]
[They say this pattern is impossible to beat though]
[It’s programmed that way]
“Really? What’s the boss then?”
[The boss is… ]
[Yes…]
[We’ve informed you~]
[Teamwork is on point]
[Good]
Even as I asked, I didn’t expect much.
It felt like a polite, casual question, like asking if you had lunch.
These guys only cooperated when I had turned on the upper body cam during a tournament.
I guess it’s a relief that I didn’t get any embarrassing compliments about having pretty hands or good skin.
At the start, there were such comments, but once I ignored them and focused on the game, they seemed to vanish.
“There’s a path inside. I think the boss will appear if I keep going.”
As I entered the graveyard, skeleton soldiers appeared.
As the story progressed toward the latter half, the mobs became stronger than before.
The bones were so tough, I had to attack multiple times to knock them down.
The patterns weren’t that difficult, but their health bars were absurdly high.
I cleared the obstacles blocking the path and entered the center of the graveyard, where a set of stairs appeared.
The stairs seemed to go down, and there was a huge coffin blocking them, tilted slightly, with scuff marks on the floor suggesting that someone had pushed the coffin aside to reveal hidden stairs.
Unlike the other tombstones, this coffin had no inscription on it.
I climbed down the stairs and wondered how far I had descended.
Suddenly, a vast underground chamber appeared.
“Is this the basement?”
[The atmosphere is intense]
[Looks like human experimentation]
[It’s about time we meet a mad scientist]
[It’s basically a national standard, haha]
The graveyard above was just a smokescreen, as below, there were not skeletons, but rather fresh corpses lined up on the ground.
However, they couldn’t be considered human.
Their skin was bruised, a mix of bluish and purple tones, bulging in places, and their eyes had no pupils—just pure white.
The twisted, crazed appearance of these figures only heightened my anticipation for the boss that would follow.
“I really want to stop playing tag now.”
Perhaps because I had taken the wrong path, this stage took much longer to navigate.
Feeling the dullness both on stream and personally, I finally reached the awaited encounter.
A new test subject has crawled in…
A skeleton wearing a robe like a wizard, leaning on a staff, spoke ominously, its eyes glowing with a blue light.
“The atmosphere is intense.”
Without hesitation, I charged straight toward it.
