The people of the Demon Tribe, filled with ambition and vigor, boldly declared their intent to slaughter the Fairy Race of Shanghua Heaven and become the new rulers of the world. These words spread from the Demon Realm, reaching Shanghua Heaven and the ears of the Emperor, Weili.
On the surface, everything seemed calm. Weili simply stated, ‘There’s no need to panic. The Merfolk have been allies with our race for a thousand years and would never side with the brutal Demon Tribe. Heaven’s path is one of benevolence and would never allow it.’
However, after the Fairies dispersed, Weili went alone to Yunli’s chamber. Yunli lay on the soft bed, sleeping restlessly, her body curled up, and her disheveled inner garments exposing her bare back. The delicate butterfly bones bore teeth marks and clear kiss marks.
Weili sat by the bed, her palm gently touching Yunli’s thin back. Yunli woke as Weili approached. She tried to move away, but Weili pulled her into an embrace, restraining her movements. Weili leaned down, softly kissing Yunli’s forehead, and whispered, ‘Yunjie, do you know what news I heard today?’
Yunjie remained silent, no longer struggling. Weili, sensing her reluctance, smiled softly, ‘If you don’t want to hear, that’s fine.’ She changed the subject, ‘Don’t be angry with me. I broke my promise to you, and I apologize.’
‘I have sent people to where our child is training. That little rascal ran away two months ago and has been quite mischievous.’ Hearing about the child, Yunli became anxious, ‘Where did she go? You haven’t sent anyone to find her?’ Her face paled with fear.
Weili reassured her, ‘I have, and they are searching. This isn’t the first time something like this has happened. Yunli, with your gentle nature, how did we end up with such a mischievous daughter?’ Yunli remained silent, still worried.
Weili held her, her gaze softening, ‘Yunjie, do you think our daughter keeps running away because she doesn’t like the training ground or the master accompanying her?’ Yunli looked at her, confused. Weili smiled, ‘She has half Merfolk blood but has never been to the Southern Sea or interacted with other Merfolk.’
‘Yunjie, do you think she might like the Merfolk? What if we send her to the Southern Sea next time?’ Yunli was taken aback, almost thinking she was hallucinating, ‘Why do you suddenly…’ Weili remained composed, smiling, ‘No reason, just a sudden thought.’
Weili lowered her voice, ‘She is also a descendant of the Merfolk, your child. The Merfolk won’t abandon her, right?’ Yunli, still confused, nodded, ‘Yes, that’s correct.’ Weili leaned in, embracing her tenderly.
True, that’s right.

Meanwhile, Su Xiaoxiao had another altercation with Xiyue. It all boiled down to Xiyue being overcome with desire, having suppressed her urges for so long. She had been pampering Su Xiaoxiao with the finest food, medicine, and care, making her increasingly alluring. Every inch of her skin radiated a tantalizing sweetness.
Xiyue, unable to hide her desires, tried to take Su Xiaoxiao to the bed. The last time, Xiyue had hurt the baby in Su Xiaoxiao’s womb, causing her to refuse. Xiyue, not one to be gentle, insisted on forcing her way. She used silken ropes to secure Su Xiaoxiao’s wrists and ankles, and with brute force, entered her without any foreplay. This time, however, she used her fingers instead of her tail.
As Xiyue entered, Su Xiaoxiao felt an unusual sensation and cried out in pain. Xiyue, with her cruel nature, seemed to enjoy Su Xiaoxiao’s tears, showing no restraint. Su Xiaoxiao’s legs were bound by Xiyue’s magic, leaving her unable to escape. She sobbed, clutching her slightly swollen belly, unable to speak.
‘It hurts…’ She kept repeating, her voice choked with tears. Xiyue, growing impatient, snapped, ‘What’s there to cry about? I haven’t even used my tail, and I haven’t applied full force.’ Su Xiaoxiao, already emotionally fragile, felt even more wronged. Her tears flowed endlessly, and in her anger, she clawed at Xiyue’s body.
Since Xiyue had already removed her clothes, Su Xiaoxiao’s nails only met soft skin. Xiyue felt no discomfort, finding the scratches strangely arousing. Su Xiaoxiao, from the start, had been unable to control her memories of the last incident, where the baby was almost lost. Her body tensed, making even the slightest movement painful.
Her eyes filled with tears, streaming down her face. Xiyue, unable to ignore her, suddenly flipped Su Xiaoxiao over, making her lie face down. She retrieved a red cloth and blindfolded her. Unable to see, her body became even more sensitive. Xiyue pressed down on her, intending to continue, but Su Xiaoxiao struggled violently.
‘I don’t want to!!!’
‘Let me go!!!’
‘You promised to keep the baby!!! You lied to me!!!’ Su Xiaoxiao screamed, her voice breaking into coughs. Xiyue had expected her to relax with the blindfold, but the opposite happened. Frustrated, Xiyue released her. Su Xiaoxiao cautiously removed the blindfold, her eyes red and swollen, her lashes wet. She shrank into a corner, maintaining as much distance from Xiyue as possible, feeling a slight sense of security.
Xiyue was both angry and reluctant to touch her. Her gaze fell on Su Xiaoxiao’s belly. Only a short time ago, Su Xiaoxiao’s belly had been flat, but now it showed a slight bump. The magical seed within, a mix of their blood, intrigued Xiyue despite her dislike. She wondered what kind of creature they would create.
‘Stop crying, you’re ruining the mood, and I can’t continue,’ Xiyue said, dressing quickly and leaving. Su Xiaoxiao said nothing, curling up in the corner of the bed, watching as Xiyue left and closed the door. She then pulled the blanket over her naked body, finally relaxing.
Xiyue, however, didn’t go far. She stayed in the courtyard, her mood soured. The turtles in the pond, sensing her aura, swam over to please her. Xiyue, expressionless, flicked her fingers, sending a dark energy that swirled the pond, trapping the turtles in a vortex. The turtles spun for a long time, and Xiyue, finding the sight pleasing, decided to show it to Su Xiaoxiao.
When she entered, Su Xiaoxiao had already dressed and stopped crying. She was about to get down from the bed to fetch water when she saw Xiyue return. Frightened, she retreated, pulling the blanket over herself, curling into a ball. Her movements were swift and decisive.
Xiyue, surprisingly, didn’t lose her temper. She thought Su Xiaoxiao had been crying for so long and, being a Merfolk, needed water. Compelled by a strange impulse, she poured a cup of water and sat at the bed’s edge, ‘You wanted water, right? Come out and drink.’ The ‘ball’ of a person didn’t move. Xiyue poked at the blanket, and the ‘ball’ began to shake.
Xiyue called out, ‘Xiaoxiao.’ Still no response. Xiyue, not known for her patience, decided to use threats, ‘Su Xiaoxiao, if you don’t come out, you won’t get a drop of water for the next three days.’ Her voice was icy, ‘Think carefully. Can you and the little creature in your womb survive that?’
The threat worked. Su Xiaoxiao threw off the blanket, glaring at Xiyue, even attempting to slap her. Xiyue, having learned from their last encounter in the snow, easily dodged. She grabbed Su Xiaoxiao’s wrist, frowning slightly, ‘I let that last slap go, and now you’re getting bold?’ Su Xiaoxiao’s lips trembled with anger, and she suddenly deflated, choking back tears, ‘You only know how to threaten and force me…’
‘I’ve never seen anyone as cruel as you…’
‘We are enemies, but this child is not just mine. Why do you always push us to our limits…’
