“After all, Hee-yeon is my daughter. What a piece of trash you are.”
Lee Hyun-seung tried to respond as calmly as possible.
If it was Yoo Hee-yeon’s mother, she held a significant position in Artemis, the country’s top guild, and her husband was the guild master.
If Artemis decided to take action, he could become a corpse in an instant without anyone knowing.
So he replied as politely as he could.
However, he couldn’t suppress the rising anger.
“Is this Yoo Hee-yeon’s mother? Why are you calling?”
“Oh? Look at how brazen this little bastard is! Are you still not realizing the kind of shameless thing you’ve done?”
“I didn’t do it.”
“You didn’t do it? Trash like you, who have lived without consequences, always deny their crimes. I’ve seen a hundred like you who can’t admit their wrongdoing.”
“I really didn’t do it.”
“You’re hopeless. I tried to let this slide quietly, but consider your future blocked. No matter which guild you try to join, no one will accept you. Do you understand what I’m saying? You’ll have to live alone for the rest of your life, you filthy bastard.”
Lee Hyun-seung gritted his teeth and spoke again.
“I told you… I didn’t do it.”
“Ha… What’s the point of talking to an orphan like you? Go on living with that inflated ego of yours and see what happens.
After graduating from the academy, you’ll be stuck doing manual labor for the rest of your life.
I guess growing up without parents has made you shameless and disgusting.
It seems talking to you is just a waste of my breath. Live your life as a loser filled with inferiority towards the powerful.”
Click.
With those words, Kim Hee-ra ended the call.
At that moment, it felt as though my sanity was unraveling.
Drop.
A droplet fell.
“F*ck… What… have I done…?”
Drop.
“Fck! What have I done to deserve this crazy sht!”
“Ha… ha… ha…”
It was unfair. I truly hadn’t done anything. As if that wasn’t enough to block my future, she called me an orphan? A useless loser without powers?
What did I do wrong? Why was I receiving this unfair treatment?
They claimed I was stalking her? Why would I ever do that? What was so great about that woman that I would secretly follow her and take photos? What made her so special that I would covet her training methods?
“F*ck!”
BAM!
I slammed my fist against the wall. My hand felt numb, but the pain didn’t register. The injustice I felt was overwhelming. The powerful heroine and her parents.
If I continued living like this, I’d end up dying a pathetic loser. If the Artemis Guild applied pressure, I wouldn’t even be able to enter the magical tower, let alone work in some remote area without feeling their eyes on me.
I would die alone, with no one by my side.
“Stop it…”
I muttered in frustration. Why did I have to think about such an unfair future when I hadn’t done anything?
Why was I picturing this sh*tty future? My goal was simply to live quietly.
I wanted to maintain good grades, enter the magical tower securely, and live a happy life like everyone else.
I was an orphan on Earth too.
I had no friends, family, or possessions.
My fate was to work part-time until I died, but then an opportunity arose that could change my destiny.
I had been reincarnated into the game “Broad Academy.” I thought it was the luck of a lifetime.
Unlike my previous situation, I knew everything about this world and its hidden pieces. A smooth path was guaranteed.
“Damn it…”
But everything had ended. With a record of being expelled from the academy, I couldn’t even enter the magical tower.
If I couldn’t enter the tower, my knowledge would mean nothing.
I would have to grow stronger and join a guild, exploring the labyrinths.
But even that was impossible. The Artemis Guild would apply pressure on other guilds to prevent me from joining.
My life was ruined. There was no other outcome. I was on a path to destruction.
“Should I just die…?”
Not being able to enter the tower or a guild meant I would essentially be unable to get a job anywhere, equivalent to not being able to find employment on Earth.
I wouldn’t be able to earn a living. Even if I worked part-time, I would have to watch my back for them.
I would spend my entire life avoiding them, all because of a false accusation of being a stalker.
“Die? Why should I?”
My body began to tremble uncontrollably.
Then, I pulled out the small axe I had brought with me and raised it without hesitation.
“I shouldn’t be the one to die. And strength doesn’t belong solely to the Artemis Guild and Yoo Hee-yeon.
Fear vanished, and only the desire for revenge consumed my thoughts.
What I needed was resolve. I knew all the hidden pieces. The foundation for collecting those hidden pieces was a profession.
I was even standing in front of the well where I could obtain a job.
“The more offerings I provide, the higher the job I can get…”
Finally, I made up my mind.
SWISH!
In an instant, I struck the axe down toward my elbow.
CRACK!!
“AHHHHHH!”
Insane pain began to surge. My arm didn’t come off in one blow. So I kept swinging, again and again.
CRACK!!
CRACK!
Eventually, one of my arms fell away from my body. Intense pain flooded me, and my vision started to blur, but I didn’t care.
PLUNK!
I threw my severed arm into the goddess’s well. But I didn’t stop there.
“Yoo Hee-yeon’s parents are in the Artemis Guild… To face that guild, a regular job won’t suffice. I need greater strength to deal with those bastards. An epic job won’t cut it.”
Then, Lee Hyun-seung cut off his other leg.
“Uwaaaah…!”
The intense pain returned, and blood poured out of my body in an instant.
Finally, I threw one leg into the well and proceeded to cut off the other leg as well.
“Uuuh… Huuuh…”
Tears flowed uncontrollably. It felt like every piece of flesh and bone in my body was being torn apart one by one. It was agonizing. The pain was so unbearable that I couldn’t even scream properly; only tears streamed down my face.
Eventually, I regained my senses and placed the severed leg into the well.
“Hah… Hah…”
With one arm and both legs cut off, my body began to experience immense strain.
Blood gushed out like a waterfall, my breathing grew labored, and my vision blurred.
I could easily bleed out and die in this situation. But I didn’t stop.
Can I really face the Artemis Guild with this? Will I be able to obtain a job from the well that allows me, the one who has always been at the bottom of the practical grades in the Academy, to overwhelmingly crush Yoo Hee-yeon?
I opened my mouth and began to bite down on the handle of the axe.
My teeth shattered and fell to the ground.
I gathered all the broken teeth and threw them into the well.
Then, I poured all the blood flowing from my arms, legs, and mouth into the well until I reached my limit. Blood was also an element that counted as a “sacrifice.”
After pouring blood for quite some time, and when it became difficult to breathe, I finally murmured to the well.
“I offer this sacrifice to the noble goddess and pray that you lend me your strength.”
In that moment, a welcome message appeared before my eyes.
Legendary jobs at the same time… Jackpot!
I thought this as I closed my blurry eyes.

Outside the goddess’s well, in the first basement floor of the labyrinth.
“Excuse me.”
After a long time had passed, I snapped back to reality at the strange voice and opened my eyes.
“1000.”
Extreme pain surged through my body; my limbs had returned to normal, but it seemed the recoil remained.
“Excuse me.”
I turned to the voice I heard again. There stood a girl with a haughty expression.
“Are you okay? I saw you lying down, so I came to check. Do you need any help?”

Thank you for the chapter.
What I like about this korean novel of a falsely accused MC, is that the MC is ruthless when it is necessary, and kind hearted to those who are close to him. Like I said, I like MCs of falsely accused stories that don’t take it lying down, and becomes committed in taking revenge. Also, legendary means the profession ignores conventional premises of said profession.
now, i wanna see a bloodbath revenge on those fckers.
can we see that on later chapters or nah?
if this go to soft route, gonna drop this
