We must escape here immediately!
Kim Erise made a snap decision, rushing out of the lounge in three steps as two, violently pushing open the closed door with a loud bang.
“Where is the patient that Dr. Masumitsu was treating?”
“She has been sent to a ward on the second floor. What’s wrong?”
The nurse pushing a cart in the hallway was almost knocked over by the hurried red-haired girl, and couldn’t help but feel displeased.
“The hospital prohibits running and loud no…”
“The Purge Committee is here! Tell me exactly which ward she’s in!”
Kim Erise spat the lollipop she hadn’t finished out of her mouth, raising her voice several decibels involuntarily.
If she wasn’t a head shorter than the person in front of her, she might have grabbed her collar to show the urgency of the situation.
…!
The nurse was obviously frightened by this sudden news, and told the room number tremblingly, stuttering so much that it took three repetitions for the girl to understand.
“Mo, take the doctor and leave from the roof first, I’ll find you to meet up later.”
“The roof? There’s nothing on the roof!” Masumitsu Gin’nou, barely recovering her senses, was confused when she heard Kim Erise’s words outside.
“Going up there is a dead end. There’s a secret passage at the end of the basement, behind the bookcase…”
“She’ll give you a flying experience, just trust us.”
As Kim Erise’s voice and hurried footsteps grew fainter, the young doctor calmed down from her initial panic.
First, she quickly went to the door to trigger the alarm device on the wall, then took out her phone and sent several text messages that looked like gibberish to outsiders with amazing speed.
“Dr. Masumitsu, where is the cold storage for storing medicines and equipment?” Mo’s question clearly entered her mind, sounding unusually clear against the noisy background of the blaring alarm.
“Basement, what’s wrong?”
“Erise, go to the basement and take away all the medicines and equipment there,”
The silver-haired girl said to her companion on the other end of the headset, “I’ll take care of that girl.”
“Hey, wait a minute, you can’t do this!” Masumitsu Gin’nou, who had reacted, was shocked.
“Those are life-saving things! If you take them away, many patients will die!”
“It seems you haven’t dealt with the Purge Committee before,” Mo took out the hairpins on her hair one by one and put them into the lace-edged cuffs, dragging the doctor out.
“Trust me, those lunatics won’t leave any survivors in this hospital – rather than let them waste those medicines and equipment, it’s better to take them all away, and it can save more people in the future, right?”
“But, but even if you say so, even if you add up everyone in the hospital, you can’t take away so many things at once?”
Mo looked back at Masumitsu Gin’nou, who was being dragged away by her, paused, and then suddenly princess-carried the latter in her arms, running like lightning despite the other’s exclamations.
“It can be done, doctor, and my companion alone is enough, because she is a magical girl.”
“Y, you’re right…”
It has to be said that this was a much more efficient way to travel than dragging, and in less than five seconds, the two of them arrived at the door of the ward on the second floor, but Dr. Masumitsu’s complexion looked very bad, like she had just gotten off a roller coaster.
“What happened, doctor?”
Several nurses were frantically comforting the patients who had been awakened by the alarm, and the ward was in chaos.
“Did a fire accidentally break out? Or is there a gas leak…”
“Purge Committee.”
Mo’s two short words were like a bolt of lightning, causing everyone present to tremble involuntarily.
A nurse who was feeding an elderly man in a hospital bed supper dropped the bowl on the ground after hearing this, covering her mouth and sobbing.
“B, big sister… companion…”
The silver-haired girl came to the girl’s bedside. The latter was wrapped in bandages all over her body like a mummy.
She had been helplessly crying in the alarm, but at this time, she called out in surprise when she saw a familiar face.
Although still a little slurred.
“You two, hold on tight, I’ll take you home.”
Mo first put the doctor on the side of the bed, then moved the girl to the side of the bed to prevent the two from crowding together, and then, in the horrified gazes of everyone, directly lifted the entire big bed over her head, and left the ward with the people and the bed at a rapid pace.
“W, wait a minute!”
A young man lying in a hospital bed at the door stretched out his right hand and grabbed the silver-haired girl’s skirt, his voice full of entreaty and begging.
“Please, little sister, take me away too, I don’t want to die here!”
“Full.”
Mo flew away without looking back, carrying the hospital bed on her head, while the man, because he was holding the skirt too tightly, directly broke away from the bed, and was dragged all the way, almost dislocating his right arm.
This skirt is of really good quality.
The man thought so, and then stretched out his left hand to grab the skirt, using both hands to reduce the pressure on one hand.
The alarm was still ringing dutifully, and now it was mixed with the heavy sound of military boots coming from downstairs, the scolding of officers, the screams of nurses, and the sound of things breaking.
No gunshots, in that case, Kim Erise probably successfully avoided them and entered the basement.
“Stop, you…”
Mo, who had arrived at the stairwell, ran into a soldier rushing up to the second floor.
The other party had just had time to raise the gun in his hand when he was kicked out by the silver-haired girl, falling softly to the ground against the wall next to him.
A soldier who arrived later pulled the trigger without hesitation, but because of her high jump, he missed, and accidentally hit the head of the man being dragged behind him, spraying a body full of white paste.
At this time, Mo had jumped to the third floor, completely disappearing in front of the soldier’s eyes.
“What’s going on?”
Half a minute later, an officer ran up with a pistol and questioned the soldier in a rage.
“Didn’t I say that you are only allowed to arrest the people in the hospital and not allowed to use guns?”
“Report: Just now, there was a girl with a big bed on her head and a man dragging behind her, who kicked Thompson unconscious, suspected to be a magical girl, so I shot.”
“Oh, is that so,” The officer, who was still angry a second ago, nodded thoughtfully the next second, glanced at the subordinate who had fainted on the ground and the man who had been headshot next to him.
“It seems that the two monsters have not left yet, but they don’t seem to want to fight us, which is fine, we can start the backup plan – you, and you, rescue the wounded, you two, search this man’s body, or ask the nurse, in short, find out his identity!”
“Yes!”
……
On the roof of the hospital, Mo placed the bed on the ground and plucked a strand of her hair, turning it into a thick silver rope to secure the two people to the bed to prevent them from falling.
“Ugh…” The girl lying on the bed groaned involuntarily. “It’s so tight, the rope, it’s so tight.”
“It’s windy outside, it’s even worse to be blown off the bed.” The silver-haired girl, who had finished fixing the bed, looked at the dozens of large trucks at the bottom of the building, and raised the bed again, placing it flat on top of her head.
“Get ready, we’re going to jump.”
“It’s okay, everything will be fine.”
Although she herself was in a very nervous state, the doctor still held the girl’s hand, constantly cheering her up.
“We’re going to ride a roller coaster soon, just think of it as an amusement park experience.”
“Wh, what’s that?”
The poor girl had never been to a proper amusement park, let alone a roller coaster, but she exclaimed before she could get an answer. “Fl, fl, fl, flying!”
In fact, they were indeed flying now.
Mo, who had found the right direction, jumped off the edge of the roof after a few seconds of running, drawing a long and perfect parabola in the air like a fired cannonball, landing steadily on the top of a residential building dozens of meters away from the hospital, that posture, that attitude, even a flying squirrel would call her an expert.
Thanks to the magical girl’s powerful physique that defied physics, and the extremely soft mattress, the two people on the bed didn’t even realize that they had landed successfully, but were still immersed in the wonderful experience of weightlessness.
“We have withdrawn, how is the situation on your side?”
However, there was no reply in the headset.
“Hello? Hello? Erise?!”
The communication was cut off.
