The Obsessive Bite

Barely escaping Bai Chen’s grasp, Bai Qiao gasped heavily, then walked around him to stand before Yingluo. It wasn’t that Bai Qiao was suddenly magnanimous enough to forgive past grievances.

It was simply rare to encounter someone from her own world here. Moreover, Yingluo’s feelings were originally directed at her, and seeing them now focused on Bai Chen evoked a strange, inexplicable sensation.

Finally, Bai Chen couldn’t take it anymore. He hoisted Yingluo onto his back and kicked the door open, exiting immediately.

Yingluo frantically wiped away her nosebleed. Then, she obediently settled back onto Bai Chen’s back. Bai Chen, helpless for the moment, could only continue walking forward.

Bai Qiao, walking ahead, couldn’t stop herself from smiling inwardly. ‘Finally, Bai Chen gets to experience this feeling too. Finally, rid of that persistent nuisance… What a relief!’

Still, with half her face buried deep in Bai Chen’s neck, greedily inhaling his unique scent, Yingluo felt as if her entire being was about to ascend.

In a daze, her eyes fixated on Bai Chen’s slightly exposed shoulder, wanting to taste more of A’Chen’s essence.

“Ah!”

The sudden jolt of pain made Bai Chen cry out instinctively. On his shoulder, he felt the distinct sensation of teeth biting down, followed by a tingling numbness.

It was as if… someone was licking him. A wave of disgust instantly washed over Bai Chen. He shivered uncomfortably, then abruptly flung Yingluo onto the ground.

One hand clutched tightly over the wound on his shoulder. The other, however, had already summoned a sword, pointing it menacingly at Yingluo’s throat.
