Neon lights glittered across S City.
The surging river shimmered with countless reflections.
The streets teemed with an endless stream of pedestrians.
A gentle breeze drifted in from the water.
Its humid embrace enveloped them, easing the lingering heat of the day.
The BMW sped along the roadside.
Bai Sha rolled down the window, and the strong wind tousled her hair, making it dance wildly.
“You think Xiao Yu will be scared without us?”
She was a mother, after all.
Their child was still so young, and leaving her parents behind, Bai Sha couldn’t help but worry.
“Should I turn back?” Zhou Haochen teased.
“No, let’s not.
She’ll have to get used to it someday; consider this an early taste of independence.”
Zhou Haochen reassured her, “My parents are with her, so there’s nothing to worry about.”
These few days were theirs alone.
They didn’t need to play the role of parents.
Upon arriving home as dusk settled, Zhou Haochen volunteered to enter the kitchen, claiming he wanted to prepare a surprise for her.
He then shooed her off to the bedroom.
“Just play some games while I get things ready.”
Bai Sha replied helplessly, “Alright, call me when you’re done.”
“Okay.”
With nothing else to do, she decided to change into a Mickey Mouse-patterned long dress.
She even donned a pair of high heels that had been tucked away in her closet for ages.
Before long, Zhou Haochen opened the bedroom door.
Bai Sha peered outside.
All the lights in the living room had been turned off, plunging it into dimness.
Only the soft, reddish glow of candles on the dining table remained.
A vibrant red placemat lay spread across the table.
Wine glasses were already filled with red wine.
Carefully plated steaks sat on the table.
There were even cold appetizers and peanuts.
Zhou Haochen led Bai Sha to the table, and asked with a smile, “What do you think? Not bad, right?”
Bai Sha chuckled softly, “How is it that a candlelight dinner includes bar snacks?”
Zhou Haochen rubbed his nose and explained, “You’re not fond of Western food, are you? So, let’s just drink more wine.”
Bai Sha pulled out a chair and sat down.
She couldn’t fathom his logic.
Sitting opposite each other, Bai Sha gently swirled her wine glass and said with a smile, “You can’t outdrink me.”
The soft, intimate candlelight flickered across her delicate face.
Though she hadn’t touched a drop, she seemed to be intoxicated already.
Her eyes held a hint of haziness, captivating and silken.
Zhou Haochen raised his glass and said with a grin, “There’s no need to get completely drunk.”
There were other things yet to be done.
After savoring the dinner he had meticulously prepared, Bai Sha nestled into Zhou Haochen’s embrace.
The two of them lay on the sofa, scrolling through movies.
The room remained shrouded in darkness.
Only the flickering light from the screen illuminated them, casting a soft glow upon the entwined lovers.
“What movie should we watch?”
“A romance?”
“How about ‘Titanic’?”
“I haven’t seen that one.
I’ll leave it up to you.”
As the Dragon Mark (TL Note: The Chinese film censorship approval logo) soared across the screen, the movie began.
Bai Sha leaned against his chest, her cheeks flushed from the wine.
She playfully rubbed her hair against his shoulder and teased, “Other young couples go to the cinema, but we just stay home.”
Zhou Haochen rested his head on her hair, “There haven’t been many good movies lately; it’s better to be free at home.”
She conceded the point.
The quality of movies currently in theaters was indeed inconsistent.
Unless it was something truly special, watching at home was preferable.
The movie played on, slowly advancing through its runtime.
However, the viewers seemed to have other intentions, their attention no longer solely on the screen.
“Hehe! What are you doing? That tickles!”
Bai Sha’s dress was already pushed up and wrinkled.
Her pale thighs were now fully exposed.
Zhou Haochen nuzzled his chin against her neck, eliciting soft gasps and causing the beauty to shift.
When he looked up, a magnificent sight met his eyes.
Zhou Haochen’s voice was hoarse as he said, “I think I’m a little drunk.”
Her face reddened further; if his hand weren’t already wandering to her mounds, she might have actually believed him.
“Oh, stop moving around so much!”
Bai Sha’s body was sensitive.
Even the lightest touch sent shivers through her.
Her entire body tingled, causing her to involuntarily curl up.
The movie was only halfway through when Bai Sha, still cradled in his arms, quickly sat up and slipped out of Zhou Haochen’s embrace.
“You, go take a shower!”
Bai Sha’s face was flushed.
She stood with her hands on her hips, commanding Zhou Haochen.
“I’ll wait for you in the bedroom.”
With that, she turned and walked towards the bedroom.
Zhou Haochen froze for a moment, then his face lit up with wild joy.
He headed to the bathroom to shower, his heart aflutter with anticipation.
“Get extra clean!” Bai Sha’s voice drifted in from outside.
“Okay.”
Inside the bedroom, Bai Sha tied up her disheveled hair.
She picked up a lace nightgown and black stockings, and entered the other bathroom.
****
Thick mist swirled in the bathroom.
Under the showerhead, Bai Sha closed her eyes, hoping to clear her mind.
She had once been a man.
Now, she was about to put on seductive lingerie and give her first time to another man.
Bai Sha’s mood grew heavy.
She turned off the shower and walked to the half-length mirror.
The spirited young man she once was had long vanished.
Now, she was even a ‘young married woman’.
Her beautiful face and curvaceous figure.
No matter how she looked, there was no trace of her youthful masculine appearance.
Instead, her alluring, charming eyes brimmed with a triumphant springtime glow.
Bai Sha put on her ‘attack speed gear’ (TL Note: A humorous term from gaming, referring to seductive clothing).
She touched her face in the mirror.
‘I won’t regret this.
I love him, and I love her.’
Mist rose in the mirror once more.
In the haze, the young man she once was seemed to return.
‘If it were you, you would love them too, right?’
Bai Sha lowered her head.
She seemed to be feeling a little sentimental.
‘They would love you too.
We are family, true family.’
When Bai Sha emerged from the bathroom, Zhou Haochen, already in his pajamas, was sitting stiffly on the edge of the bed.
He gazed at her with a dazed, infatuated expression.
Like a lotus emerging from water, she was a beauty capable of toppling cities.
Bai Sha switched off the main lights, leaving only the bedside lamp softly glowing.
The dim light obscured the shy expressions on the young man and woman’s faces, leaving only the raw passion of youth.
Zhou Haochen embraced her.
His hands roamed over her body.
He gently kissed her lips.
After the kiss, a glistening thread of saliva stretched between their lips.
Zhou Haochen was about to say something, but Bai Sha interrupted him.
She straddled Zhou Haochen.
In her hand, she held a Durex (TL Note: A popular brand of condom).
“Don’t speak.
Just love me.”
The bee’s stinger met the flower’s pistil, setting the branches into a wild tremor as sweet dew cascaded.
A flush of crimson touched the stinger’s tip; the bee stilled, its needle at rest, and a string of soft murmurs ensued.
The vibrant flower drew in its petals; the nectar gathered, and a milky essence began to flow.

In the bathtub, Bai Sha lay submerged in the water, a towel wrapped around her head.
Her face still bore glistening tear tracks.
Zhou Haochen was in the other bathroom, performing his own cleanup.
‘It’s never good to fall asleep right after a meal; everyone should know that.’
Bai Sha picked up her phone to check the time.
Her hands flew to her face.
‘It was their first time, yet how had they gone on for so long?’
Outside the window, the neon lights still glowed, but pedestrians on the streets were sparse.
It was well past midnight.
Recalling the ‘battle’ from earlier, she had cried profusely, for reasons she couldn’t quite grasp.
Her torrent of tears had startled Zhou Haochen.
‘Perhaps it was a man’s last shred of dignity?’
‘But she was no longer one.’
Seeing Zhou Haochen’s cautious movements, she had even taken the initiative herself.
The price, however, was her current exhaustion.
She lacked even the strength to hold the showerhead, leaving her to simply lie in the bathtub.
Covering her face, she realized that from this moment on, her relationship with Zhou Haochen, after half a year, had entered its next phase.
After they had both cleaned up, the two lay in bed, falling asleep nestled together.
“Bai Sha.”
“Hmm?”
“Bai Sha.”
“Here~”
‘I wanted to say ‘I love you,’ but I felt words were meaningless.’
‘Yet, I still wished for you to know, how strange I am.’
“I love you.”
