Truth be told, Seon Ji-ha had known since he was a child that he wasn’t exactly a “good” person.
There was no need to look as far back as the time he had nearly strangled his own sister over a stolen ring. It was simply that he was indifferent to others, and life rarely offered anything he found interesting.
Based on what he’d gathered from psychiatric evaluations, his symptoms leaned toward an anti-social personality disorder, but Ji-ha possessed one trait that set him apart: he lacked interest in everything.
To achieve something, one needs a goal. Even the simple act of living requires a sense of purpose. But Seon Ji-ha was a man profoundly devoid of both goals and the will to act.
Of course, being human, he occasionally felt the desire to possess something. Fortunately, his ancestors had accumulated immense wealth, ensuring he never had to go without. His tendency to obsess over a single item and never let go was a trait that didn’t even require medication—because, until now, those things had always been inanimate objects.
Thus, when Seon Ji-ha began to obsess over a “living thing” for the first time, he didn’t know how to stop. More accurately, he didn’t want to learn how.
“I’m scared… hng…”
When Yoon Dae-eon cried, Ji-ha hesitated instinctively. It wasn’t out of pity, but rather because he wanted to witness this side of Dae-eon—a side he had never seen before.
He wanted to know every facet of Yoon Dae-eon. Every single bit.
Dae-eon’s face, flooded with tears, was thrillingly beautiful. If it were possible, Ji-ha wanted to preserve him exactly like this and hide him away forever.
However, having attended therapy for years at his family’s insistence, Ji-ha knew his thoughts weren’t “normal.” If he said everything on his mind, Dae-eon would be terrified. He might even run away.
So, Ji-ha had suppressed his words. Before meeting Dae-eon, he was silent because he had nothing to say; after meeting him, he was silent out of fear of losing him.
But then Dae-eon told him that the silence was scarier and urged him to speak. It was a temptation Seon Ji-ha couldn’t resist.
Since he says the silence is worse, is it okay to say everything?
From that moment, Ji-ha stopped holding back. As his words flowed, his actions grew rougher. He began to do everything he had ever desired.
When he drove himself into Dae-eon without waiting, the pleasure was so sharp his head spun and his lips trembled. In those moments, even the Rut—which usually tore his mind apart—lost its power over him.
He thrust his overwhelming size into Dae-eon, tormented him without rest, forced him into demanding positions, and caressed him with such intensity it left bruises and blood.
He barely heard Dae-eon’s pleas to stop. Hadn’t the boy agreed to let him do as he pleased before they started? Even if the context was slightly different.
Half a day passed, and as dawn approached—
“Hwaaaaah! Hic! Let go… let go of me, you son of a b*tch…!”
The voice that had once desperately called out “Sunbae” was gone. Dae-eon’s voice was now cracked and raw, spitting out curses.
He had every right to. Since they started, Ji-ha hadn’t given Dae-eon a single moment of rest. Even when Dae-eon lost consciousness and woke back up, the cycle repeated. It was only natural his voice had failed him.
But Seon Ji-ha only tilted his head at the plea to be let go.
“Why would I?”
“Give me back my Sunbae… Bring him back!”
“Dae-eon, do you have another Sunbae besides me? Who…?”
He wasn’t asking about a literal senior at school. He was asking if there was someone else who would do this to him. Ji-ha tried to mimic his usual, calm tone, but he couldn’t hide the underlying edge.
“You bastard…! Hwaaaaah.“
Dae-eon, pinned beneath Ji-ha’s hips, feebly pounded on his chest with his fists. After a night of various positions, they had returned to the missionary style. The strength in Dae-eon’s fists was considerable.
However, Ji-ha just accepted the blows, a faint smile visible beneath his damp bangs.
As he poured everything into Dae-eon, the fog in his mind from the day before seemed to clear—though it might have been an illusion.
Seon Ji-ha spoke in a coaxing tone.
“It’s still a long way from over…….”
“……What?”
Seon Ji-ha’s Rut usually lasted five days. Yesterday was the third day, and today was the fourth, meaning it would last at least until tomorrow.
He kept the fact that his sanity had returned earlier than usual a secret. He explained the situation in a voice that sounded remarkably like his normal self.
Dae-eon’s eyes widened, and his mouth trembled. His face was a mask of pure horror.
“You… you’re saying I have to do this for another day…?”
To be precise, since it was only morning, there were roughly 40 hours left. As the realization hit him, Dae-eon turned deathly pale. Ji-ha gave him a small, shy nod while peppering his lips with kisses.
Though his reason had partially returned, the fever of the Rut hadn’t subsided. Ji-ha gave a small thump with his member, still deep inside Dae-eon.
“I—I’m going to die. Sunbae, I’m serious, I’m really going to die.”
“You won’t.”
“I will! Uwaaaaah, save me…….”
Looking down at the wailing, fussing Dae-eon, Ji-ha thought for a moment. He won’t actually die, so should I just ignore him?
But his returning sanity compelled him to act somewhat more human. Unbeknownst to him, venting his heat into Dae-eon had allowed his brain to function properly again.
“Then… should we try knotting…?”
“Knot—what?”
“……If we knot, it’ll be over…….”
Of course, knotting didn’t always end a Rut. But after years of enduring Ruts alone, Ji-ha instinctively knew that knotting now would provide the final release.
He had a feeling that once the last of the heat was expelled, this cycle would truly end.
At the mention of “knotting,” Dae-eon’s eyes darted around. He looked troubled, perhaps even a bit fearful.
“Should I not?”
“…….”
“Then close your eyes for a bit. I’ll wake you up tomorrow.”
If you can even close your eyes.
Dae-eon said nothing to Ji-ha’s remark, but his eyes were cursing him out. Ji-ha let out a soft pfft of a laugh. Even he found his own words ridiculous.
“Fine… let’s do it. The knotting.”
“Okay. I’ll make sure you don’t get pregnant.”
“…….”
Dae-eon started to say something but closed his mouth again. Ji-ha didn’t pay it much mind.
While knotting usually increased the chances of pregnancy significantly, that didn’t apply to a Dominant Alpha like Seon Ji-ha. He could control the refinement of his own release.
He might not have been able to do so if he were completely lost to his instincts, but he was lucid enough now. Still, a small part of him hesitated.
If he gets pregnant, he wouldn’t be able to run away, right?
Even if that goddamn Imprinter existed, if they had a child… Ji-ha stared silently at Dae-eon, who was pinned beneath him, looking up. Since this was his first time wanting a living thing, everything was a series of difficult questions.
The hesitation was brief. If a child was born and Dae-eon loved the child more than him, that would be a problem. Seon Ji-ha could not tolerate Dae-eon’s attention straying elsewhere, even for a moment.
His already rigid member began to drive back into Dae-eon’s body. Deeper, deeper, deeper. Even though he didn’t intend to leave a child behind, Ji-ha moved his hips with the desperate violence of a man obsessed with the idea of it.
“Ahk, ugh, ugh!”
“……Haa…….”
As Ji-ha let out a final breath, the base of his member began to expand. At the same time, Dae-eon’s breathing became dangerously shallow. Ji-ha pressed his mouth against Dae-eon’s to share his breath.
Some Recessive Omegas found the expansion of an Alpha’s member during knotting unbearable, even struggling to breathe. Since Dae-eon was an Extreme Recessive Omega, it was only natural he found the process grueling.
The sheer volume of the release—even without sperm—was nearly equivalent to urine. Ji-ha helped Dae-eon breathe while fully savoring the moment.
For the first time, the Rut that had always tormented him felt satisfying. It felt as if the heat he had always suppressed was finally being cooled by Dae-eon’s body.
Having never held an Omega before, Ji-ha didn’t realize that what he was feeling was different from what a normal Alpha feels during knotting. He didn’t know that typical Alphas and Omegas burn even hotter for the sake of reproduction after the knot.
But Seon Ji-ha was perfectly content. As long as he had Yoon Dae-eon, it felt as if he could endure any number of Ruts he had once wanted to die from…….
