Leidi, I can’t shake the feeling that everyone’s stares today are… different.

Stepping out of the car and walking along the familiar path to school, I knew being gawked at was an undeniable reality, yet something felt off today.

“Hey, look, it’s *her*!”

“You saw it too, right?”

“I can barely recognize her! She’s even cuter now!”

“Ah~ Carrots~ So many carrots~”

“Could it just be someone who looks incredibly similar?”

“Impossible! Her features are far too distinctive!”

What in the world are they even talking about today?

‘Are they talking about me? No, that can’t be right. Yet, the intermittent camera flashes aimed my way made it impossible to dismiss the thought. What exactly was going on?’

Upon reaching the school gate, I noticed a huge crowd gathered there. Had something happened?

“Ah! She’s here! Hurry, everyone!” Like a sentinel relaying a crucial message, one girl vigorously waved her hand, beckoning the crowd.

And then… the students packed at the entrance, like a pack of hounds scenting their prey, uniformly swiveled their heads in my direction!

“Huh?!” I gasped, utterly startled.

‘What was happening?! Was “she’s here” actually referring to *me*?! What had I done?’

In moments, the hounds—no, the students—had encircled Leidi and me. What was this stance for? A gang fight? We hadn’t done anything wrong!

“Is there something everyone needs from my sister?” Leidi asked, a faint smile playing on his lips as he subtly shielded me behind him.

‘Thanks for that… This is truly terrifying…’

“Black Princess-sama! Look at this!”

“Yes, yes! Look, look!”

“It’s really her, right?! Super similar, isn’t it?!”

Everyone spoke with fervent excitement, pulling out their phones to show Leidi. Simultaneously, they pointed with equal enthusiasm at me, still cowering behind him.

‘Ugh~ What is with this overwhelming pressure? My legs are practically jelly!’

Unsure how to react, I, my face burning crimson, buried it in Leidi’s hair, deciding it was best to simply rely on him entirely.

“Hey, you’re famous now~”

“What?!” This was certainly not the time for blushing! I shot my head out, snatched the phone from Leidi’s hand, and fixated my gaze on the screen.

“…” ‘No way…’

“Do you need me to translate?” Leidi asked, turning back to me with an annoyingly benevolent smile.

“N-no, it’s fine…” I stammered, my face still burning with embarrassment as I declined.

Even without translating the words I still couldn’t decipher, the pictures alone were more than enough. Heh, hehe… I really should have known. So this was it, then…

“Everyone, that’s right, the person in the picture is indeed my sister~” Leidi declared, beaming a radiant “goddess’s smile” at the crowd. He then positioned me in front of him, much like one might display a captured kitten, and with an undeniably boastful tone, he utterly ignited the atmosphere.

‘What is this?! A public execution?’

‘And why, pray tell, was that photo taken at *that* exact moment?! I was merely checking my heartbeat on the podium! That gesture was *not* me rubbing my chest! Don’t get the wrong idea!’

Shamefaced, I covered my face with both hands, desperate to conceal my embarrassment. And why was Leidi smiling so gleefully?! How utterly awful of him! He wasn’t helping me in the slightest!

“She’s actually the third-place winner of the cosplay arm-wrestling competition! I never would’ve guessed Little Sister-san had such incredible strength!”

“I was shocked too! I thought it was just someone who looked remarkably similar!”

However… the classroom didn’t seem to offer much respite either.
