I vaguely explained the situation to YearRoundNoRest, who was still bewildered, having not heard the exact details.
Contrary to my expectation that he would react skeptically, he instead declared that this was unacceptable and he needed to drag PatchNote over to properly deal with them, then ran off saying he would call him.
‘Um… but that guy’s probably drunk and asleep right now…’
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: Ah, that bastard drank too much and passed out, so he’s not even answering the phone. This is why lightweights are useless!!!]
[Guild/DontOrderMe: He didn’t drink that much,,,]
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: Why do you think he’s called a lightweight?]
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: Ugh, I wonder who would take him away after seeing that!!!]
‘Take him where?’
I didn’t quite understand what he meant, but thinking that ignorance was bliss, I vaguely brushed it off.
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: SoonToDie-nim, please check your mail.]
[Guild/DontOrderMe: What?]
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: Let’s go completely destroy those bastards!!!!]
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: I’ll pour you generous heals!!!!!]
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: Let’s film a zombie movie today!!!]
[Guild/DontOrderMe: Ah, yes,,,]
‘I’d appreciate that.’
With Beta noona and YearRoundNoRest’s heals, we could all survive and deal damage like zombies, with no one dying.
‘Just place a few people to protect those two from the back, and it’ll be perfect.’
“Ah, he said to check my mail.”
‘Why tell me to check my mail right before a fight?’
‘Did he send enhancement stones as a gift?’
I checked my mail with a hint of expectation, then gaped, unable to speak.
“Hul…”
Full accessory set… all +15 enhancements…
[Guild/DontOrderMe: Why are you doing this to me?]
[Guild/DontOrderMe: My hands are trembling;]
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: To kill all those bastards,]
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: You need to get stronger.]
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: This is a gift for that.]
“What a kind person!”
‘I’m sorry I cursed you, calling you a dog when you drink!’
I quickly equipped the accessories, and my stats rose incomparably compared to before.
‘Wow… I’m really touched.’
‘To think these are my character’s stats.’
I felt like I could even duel PatchNote’s character and win.
Honestly, PatchNote is incredibly good at the game, but wouldn’t stat advantage still be a factor?
‘I’ll compare our gear later, and if it seems competitive, I’ll challenge him to an Arena match!’
‘The time for revenge has come!’
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: Actually, PatchNote asked me to deliver it for him LOLOLOLOL.]
‘I shall consider it unsaid.’
‘How could I have thought of speaking ill of the person who gave me such a gift?’
‘I regret it now.’
[Guild/Beta: I’m ready.]
[Guild/Beta: Hit them!!!!!!1 Kill them all!!!!]
[Guild/RetirementWish: Just rip their skin off!!!!]
[Guild/Beta: What good is just ripping off their skin? Twist their heads 360 degrees!!!!]
[Guild/OneHitForTheLord: The Lord sends many at once.]
[Guild/OneHitForTheLord: And sends the guild members’ personalities along with them.]
[Guild/YearRoundNoRest: I’ll add my personality too! Let’s GOOOO!!!!!]
‘No, seriously, you shouldn’t send your personalities along, guys.’
‘Let’s keep it in moderation, in moderation.’
‘Because we’ll win anyway.’

As if possessed by the calls to join voice chat, I entered the voice chat room, and voices so loud my ears hurt assaulted me.
– Those bastards, those bastards, we have to kill them all.
– That’s right! Kill them all!
– Bend their backs the other way!
– That’s right! Bend them!
‘Stop it, you humans…’
Seeing Beta noona and RetirementWish, who were excessively excited, made me feel strangely conflicted.
It pained me that the one echoing was RetirementWish and not PotteryMaster.
Perhaps because I was the one who kicked off this full-blown war, I felt a faint sense of guilt.
“Let’s go in now. Everyone, constantly check your guild members’ positions and be ready to provide backup.”
– Confirmed.
– Confirmed.
– PK in town is possible, but let’s avoid it if possible. But if they’re about to enter a dungeon! Then just take them. I’ll take responsibility.
‘Whoa… cool…’
I gave a soulless applause at Beta noona’s shouts.
However, unlike me, who felt nothing special, the guild members started cheering loudly.
A bit excessively so.
– Don’t worry! I’ll smash all those bastards’ skulls and show them what it means to live up to a nickname!
– Kill them all! Kill them all!
– Whoaaaaah!
– Let’s go! Let’s send all those bastards to the afterlife for a one-on-one interview with King Yama!
‘I didn’t expect them to be like that in person.’
I casually pretended not to hear the guild members’ shouts and scoured the field, searching for opposing guild members.
‘Come to think of it, what was their guild name again? Something about light.’
“What did you say their guild name was?”
– It’s Hanbit Guild.
– No! They said to know your enemy and know yourself for a hundred victories! Why don’t you know the enemy!
“What are you talking about? Thanks for the help. I found one bastard here. Killing him immediately.”
As soon as I received a buff from Beta noona, who was following me, I rushed forward and unleashed my skills.
The guy, who had been field hunting, tried to counterattack, bewildered by the sudden assault.
But I, having upgraded my specs with the items YearRoundNoRest gave me, was faster at killing him.
Before the combo even finished, his character was declared dead.
“One down. Let’s go sweep up the rest.”
– We found them gathered in the village. They seem to be forming a party through shout chat, so they’re probably trying to enter a dungeon. They don’t seem to know one of their guild members got cut down.
– We found two. We have three people on our side; we’ll cut them down immediately.
– We might need backup here. I’ll ping the coordinates, so one DPS, please come as backup.
“I’ll go.”
I immediately teleported to the location and then engaged in backing up those who were already in combat.
Thanks to the reliable support from the rear, I didn’t need to exert any special control.
Whenever I took damage, heals came in according to my HP status, and the necessary buffs were applied at precisely the right moments.
More than anything, the difference in our basic specs made it incredibly easy.
“Four down here. How about you guys? If you need backup, tell me immediately.”
– I’ll check.
– The revived guys are forming a party. In Ferant Village, 6 people gathered so far.
– It looks like they’re trying to gather all their guild members and charge us.
“Let’s cut them down again before they all gather. Let’s break them down individually so they can’t gather.”
I used teleport again to change locations and immediately engaged in combat.
Seeing the vulnerable friends gathered closely together, my area-of-effect damage was amplified.
‘If PatchNote were here, I could have swept them all away in one hit.’
I clicked my tongue in disappointment and used my skills.
“Backup needed for the tank side. Focus on heals a bit.”
– We found people returning. Total of three.
– Applied area-of-effect buff. SoonToDie-nim, please help the rear a bit. No melee DPS in the back.
“Going right away. If one person falls, everyone gets wiped, so be careful.”
– Ah, those bastards are so sneaky. Someone with area-of-effect damage, please shoot at the pinned coordinates.
– Confirmed. There’s a bit of casting time. Please hold on.
“Wow… does their guild normally have so many members? Why are they swarming like that?”
– They can’t win with skill and specs, so they’re probably trying to overpower us with numbers. Ptooey!
‘Don’t spit, though.’
I cut down the melee DPS returning from behind and checked the battle situation.
At first, we had the upper hand, but it seemed difficult to overcome sheer numbers, so it was slowly becoming time to retreat.
‘This is a bit problematic.’
I quietly clicked my tongue and clack-clack-clack-ed on the keyboard.
“This sucks. YearRound-nim, Patch-nim didn’t contact us, did they?”
– They seem to be asleep…
‘They did drink a lot.’
I had intentionally regulated their drinks, telling them to drink in moderation, but they kept chugging.
I don’t know why an alcoholic lightweight would be so greedy for alcohol.
“First, let’s fall back and reorganize our front line. It’s certainly hard when they have so many numbers. Let’s hit and run with guerrilla tactics, applying damage over time while retreating to earn victory points.”
– Okay. Confirmed.
– Let’s just focus on earning victory points by hitting and running with guerrilla tactics.
There were two ways to win a guild war.
One was for one side to concede defeat and end it, and the other was to reach 10,000 victory points.
Currently, RunawayTrain had approximately 3,000 victory points.
We needed to gather the remaining 7,000 points.
– They have a lot of numbers, but they’re all talk and no substance, so we’ll probably gain victory points quickly.
– A small, elite group is much better. We won’t lose victory points if we don’t die to them, right? If we die, we should die to mobs.
“What are you talking about? Don’t think about dying; think about killing.”
– Kuh-euh, look at him talk. Even the legendary doctor Hua Tuo couldn’t save that personality.
– Our SoonToDie-nim has an amazing personality! Kill before you are killed! Isn’t that right!
– We’ll just trust the plan of SoonToDie-nim, who has a personality that even Hua Tuo couldn’t save!
“‘Bullshit…’”
I crumpled my face, letting their trivial words go in one ear and out the other.
‘Where did the healer who promised generous heals go?’
‘He’s giving generous nonsense instead of heals; did he perhaps switch from healer to DPS?’
[Friend PatchNote has logged in.]
[Guild member PatchNote has logged in.]
“…Uh.”
‘What?’
‘How did he recover so quickly?’
Surprised for a moment by PatchNote’s unexpected recovery, I checked the message that appeared in the guild chat window, and a ‘there you go’ smile spread across my lips.
[Guild/PatchNote: I got the call and came.]
[Guild/PatchNote: Where should I join the voice chat?]
