This poison cultivation technique was a method entirely distinct from normal cultivation practices, prompting various sects to establish specialized facilities for its management.
For instance, the Yunhua Sect created a new faction called the Purple Abyss Pavilion.
Henceforth, all disciples who successfully cultivated the Heavenly Poison Sutra would be directly assigned to this pavilion.
However, as no one had yet succeeded in its cultivation, the position remained vacant until a full two months after the technique’s widespread dissemination, when the Yunhua Sect’s first Purple Abyss Pavilion disciple finally emerged.
At the Yunhua Sect’s disciple management office, a silver-haired, violet-eyed girl calmly stepped inside.
Her striking appearance drew the gaze of many Yunhua Sect disciples.
“Silver-white hair and violet eyes—how beautiful,” many disciples exclaimed upon seeing the girl.
Upon entering the pavilion, the girl’s gaze swept around, quickly settling on the registration area for official disciples.
It was a counter-like station where an inner disciple was on duty.
“Senior Sister, I’m here to complete my promotion to an official disciple,” the girl said with a smile to the inner disciple.
The female disciple on duty scrutinized the girl before her.
“A menial disciple? Have you broken through to the Cavern Heaven Realm? Yet, you appear to be only at the Spirit Gathering Realm. This doesn’t conform to the rules.”
It was, of course, Yan Yun. She felt the time was ripe to emerge from the shadows into the open, as the Yunhua Sect had provided the perfect opportunity.
Yan Yun smiled, raising her hand to release a surge of purple energy.
“Senior Sister, didn’t the sect announce the establishment of the Purple Abyss Pavilion not long ago? Anyone who successfully cultivates the Heavenly Poison Sutra can directly become an official disciple and enter the Purple Abyss Pavilion.”
The female disciple was momentarily stunned upon seeing the purple energy in Yan Yun’s hand.
“You? You’ve successfully cultivated the Heavenly Poison Sutra?”
Yan Yun nodded, a cheerful smile gracing her lips.
“Indeed. Senior Sister must have seen this cultivation technique; it states that once cultivated, a poison core and a poison spiritual root will form within the body. You may verify this.”
The female disciple’s face was a mask of disbelief, and the surrounding disciples, hearing these words, all converged around them.
“No way! The chances of successfully cultivating this poison technique are pitifully small. Has someone actually succeeded?”
“Yes, just a few days ago, an outer disciple failed while cultivating this poison technique, and their death was truly gruesome.”
The onlookers exchanged whispers, each one filled with immense curiosity about Yan Yun.
The female disciple responsible for the assessment immediately gestured for Yan Yun to follow her into a private room.
Yan Yun promptly entered.
Once inside, the female disciple motioned for Yan Yun to extend her hand. She then grasped Yan Yun’s wrist, allowing her divine sense to penetrate her body and examine it for the characteristics described in the Heavenly Poison Sutra.
Upon inspection, she indeed discovered a purple spiritual root and a purple orb within Yan Yun’s body.
“Unbelievable! You actually succeeded,” the female disciple exclaimed, releasing Yan Yun’s hand.
Yan Yun chuckled softly.
“Just a stroke of luck, really.”
However, the female disciple shook her head.
“We’ve all studied this cultivation technique; it’s not something just anyone can succeed at. Junior Sister, congratulations! From today onwards, you are the first disciple of our Yunhua Sect’s Purple Abyss Pavilion,” the woman congratulated her.
Yan Yun’s face was momentarily clouded with questions.
“The first? What does that mean?”
The female disciple offered a somewhat awkward smile.
“Because you are the first disciple to successfully cultivate the poison technique since the establishment of the Purple Abyss Pavilion.”
Yan Yun’s expression stiffened. This was hardly good news for her; wouldn’t it make her a glaring target? She would undoubtedly draw the attention of the higher-ups.
“This? So, does that mean no sect elders are currently stationed at the Purple Abyss Pavilion?” Yan Yun inquired further.
“Indeed, it’s just you alone. After all, this poison technique was only recently unsealed. While many are cultivating it, you’re the only one who has succeeded so far, so you are essentially the master of the Purple Abyss Pavilion right now,” the female disciple said with a smile.
Upon hearing this, Yan Yun couldn’t help but mutter to herself.
‘What? It’s been two months already; surely not? Am I truly the legendary Child of Destiny?’
And so, Yan Yun registered her identity, receiving an official disciple token from the disciple management office, though it was only for the lowest rank of outer disciple.
As for the disciple attire, it was simply the outer disciple uniform, but with some purple patterns added.
“Ah, official disciple robes are so much more comfortable to wear! At last, I don’t have to be so secretive anymore,” Yan Yun said, nodding with great satisfaction as she admired her fitted and beautiful female disciple attire.
She was currently heading towards the Purple Abyss Pavilion, a newly constructed building located on the southern side of the Yunhua Sect, its scale identical to other factions.
Truly, one could now consider Yan Yun the progenitor of poison cultivators, given that she was the one who spread this poison cultivation technique.
“You’re a bit smarter than I was back then, kid. If only I had thought of this back in my day, sigh!” Yan Lingyun lamented.

The Purple Abyss Pavilion currently had no guards, standing empty and utterly silent. Upon entering, Yan Yun surveyed her surroundings as if claiming the territory as her own.
Meanwhile, the higher-ups had already received news that someone had successfully cultivated the poison technique.
“What? Someone cultivated the poison technique? Really?” In the main sect hall, the deacon in charge of the disciple management office was reporting this news to Fairy Yunshuang.
“Yes, Sect Master, it has been confirmed. The poison technique was indeed cultivated. This person is a menial disciple from the medicine fields named Ziyun (TL Note: This is an alias Yan Yun is using). However, Sect Master, since the Purple Abyss Pavilion now has a disciple, should we send someone to oversee it?” the deacon inquired.
This was indeed a dilemma. None of the higher-ups cultivated poison techniques, and their knowledge of them was limited, perhaps even less than Yan Yun’s. Arbitrarily assigning someone would not comply with regulations.
“Hmm! Tell you what, go to the Purple Abyss Pavilion and call that girl, Ziyun, over. I’ll meet with her first,” Fairy Yunshuang instructed.
The deacon nodded, then flew out of the main hall.

Turning back to Yan Yun, she was currently seated on the Purple Abyss Pavilion Master’s throne.
“Haha, this entire grand place is all mine now!” Yan Yun declared excitedly.
Simultaneously, she sent a message to Jiang Yao, Su Muyu, and Xie Yuyan, essentially informing them that she had stepped into the open.
Jiang Yao and Su Muyu certainly couldn’t come to see Yan Yun directly for now, but Xie Yuyan had no such constraints.
As soon as she heard the news, she eagerly scurried over from Huoyang Pavilion.
With no one currently in the Purple Abyss Pavilion, her entry and exit went unnoticed.
Upon her arrival, she saw Yan Yun perched high on the Pavilion Master’s throne, and a mischievous glint immediately sparked in her eyes.
“Disciple Xie Yuyan requests an audience with the Pavilion Master.”
Yan Yun immediately straightened her posture, responding with a solemn air, “Hmm, enter. What business brings you before this esteemed one?”
After entering, Xie Yuyan immediately burst into laughter, playfully scolding her.
“Oh, stop it! You’re really acting like the Pavilion Master, aren’t you? Would the sect ever let an outer disciple be a Pavilion Master?”
Yan Yun smirked triumphantly.
“Heh heh, it’s hard to say. I’m the only one in the Purple Abyss Pavilion right now, so being the Pavilion Master or not hardly matters.”
“You really are audacious, aren’t you? You dare to do anything. Aren’t you worried it might backfire?” Xie Yuyan wondered, curious about the source of Yan Yun’s courage, or perhaps her confidence.
Yan Yun rose, answering earnestly, “This is what I call ‘being driven to desperation and finding a way out.’ Some things are useless to merely ponder; one must try them to know. I’m betting the cultivation world of Jiang Country won’t dare to suppress this with an iron fist, because that would only be counterproductive.”
Xie Yuyan watched Yan Yun, whose confidence radiated brightly. She walked over, placing a hand on Yan Yun’s shoulder, and said, “Then I can only wish you good luck. If you truly become the Pavilion Master of Purple Abyss Pavilion, you’ll have to look out for me in the future.”
“Go on, go on. We’ll talk about it if it happens,” Yan Yun said, rolling her eyes at Xie Yuyan.
Just as the two were conversing, someone arrived outside.
“Where is Ziyun?”
