Join the ServerLan Ruobing’s wrists were clasped by Xi Xue, her thigh pressed against Lan Ruobing’s lower body.
She was in a precarious, half-fallen posture, like a tender blade of grass bent at the waist. Xi Xue was above, and she was below.
Whenever she attempted to struggle upright, Xi Xue would lift a snowy white thigh.
The soft brush against her body made Lan Ruobing’s sensitive legs tense and tremble uncontrollably.
Moreover, Xi Xue’s mastery of her tongue was simply too exquisite. It left Lan Ruobing feeling utterly disoriented and captivated.
Though it was merely bloodsucking, Xi Xue performed it like a highly skilled masseuse.
As she drank, her tongue would flick, or lick, or glide with her lips, sucking and biting with a remarkable rhythm.
Under the combined effect of the slender fangs and the precise control of the delicate tongue, Lan Ruobing’s neck grew exceptionally sensitive.
Fine currents of electricity would periodically surge from her neck, spreading through her entire body.
Time and again, her limbs would succumb to a tingling numbness.
Fortunately, she realized quickly that Xi Xue had refrained from injecting that mind-melting aphrodisiac this time. Though her body weakened under the sensual assault, her mind remained clear enough to formulate a desperate plan.
She pleaded with Xi Xue to release her, but Xi Xue remained unmoved.
Her mind raced, and she adopted an extremely weak appearance, allowing her limbs to droop limply, her body softening into Xi Xue’s embrace.
Then, with immense effort, she bit out her words, claiming she had no strength left. If this continued, her Water Dragon would lose control, and she hoped Xi Xue would let her go.
However, she had underestimated Xi Xue’s persistence.
Xi Xue remained unperturbed, continuing to drink no matter what Ruobing said.
‘My heavens, how am I supposed to survive this?!’
Lan Ruobing’s heart was filled with bitterness. Suddenly, a flash of insight struck her, recalling her earlier speculation about Xi Xue not using her abilities in front of the crowd.
Adopting a desperate, experimental approach, she said mournfully, “Xi Xue, ha, I’m so scared, ha, ha, I’m afraid, ha, if you keep drinking, ha… I’ll turn into a cold, hah, corpse!”
At her words, Xi Xue suddenly stopped.
She no longer drank from Ruobing. Instead, her body began to tremble uncontrollably, as if contemplating something complex, before she embraced Ruobing tightly.
The embrace was so forceful that Ruobing felt she could barely breathe.
“I, cough, cough, can’t, breathe!”
She quickly made a sound to warn her.
‘Oh no, I seem to have agitated Xi Xue. Does she really care about that sort of thing?’
She had long felt that Xi Xue seemed to reject and fear certain things.
This exam had no restrictions on abilities or races. Logically, Xi Xue could have unleashed her powers and dominated.
Lan Ruobing had witnessed firsthand that any one of Xi Xue’s abilities was powerful enough to astound the entire Ability College Entrance Examination, or even all of Huaxia!
The terrifying Bloodflame, the pause-button-like ability, and instantaneous movement—any one of these could shock the world.
Not only did she possess multiple abilities, but instantaneous movement was not something a Tier 5 ability user typically had. Unless it was a congenital awakening, one would need to reach at least Tier 7 to awaken such an ability.
After all, it was a spatial ability. Upon reaching Tier 7, abilities underwent a qualitative change, granting terrifying power.
This was why Tier 7 was known as the King Tier. At this level, one’s strength would undergo earth-shattering changes; a single murderous thought could lead to millions of corpses and rivers of blood flowing for a thousand miles.
Currently, the ancient nation of Huaxia had only five Kings in total, and the worldwide count of Kings was no more than twenty. There had been no sightings above the King Tier to date, illustrating their rarity and the difficulty of breaking through.
But Xi Xue shouldn’t be a King Tier; after all, those five individuals were known by everyone across Huaxia.
This meant Xi Xue had three congenital abilities, one of which was spatial instantaneous movement. With such talent and strength, she would surely be recruited by the nation even without taking the exam.
Yet, she not only participated but also fought with restraints, completely abandoning the advantage of her abilities and relying purely on physical combat. It was truly baffling.
If Ruobing had to find a reason, she could only think of one: the bloody and terrifying reputation of the Bloodkin.
She used to feel afraid just watching them on TV. Now, if Xi Xue were to reveal herself as a Bloodkin, Ruobing felt that the public opinion in the examination hall and the attitude of her classmates at Xiaoyue Middle School would subtly change.
‘So, is Xi Xue rejecting her Bloodkin identity, or is she afraid of the consequences of that identity? Or, could she actually suck me dry and turn me into a mummy?!’
Lan Ruobing shivered, terrified by the thought.
‘Could it be that Bloodkin can’t control their feeding, occasionally sucking people into cold corpses without realizing it?’
‘Oh, no! Don’t scare me; I don’t want to die!’
