Two days later.
A Boeing BBJ 999-7 business private jet worth over four hundred million euros streaked through the blue sky and clouds as the captain prepared for the final landing procedures.
A knock sounded on the cockpit door.
Then a pair of beautiful eyes appeared.
Black eyes beneath long fluttering lashes.
The female Omega in a flight attendant uniform smiled softly at the pilot and gently shook her head.
The caution and tension revealed in her eyes exposed her true emotions at this moment.
—There was no need to notify the passenger cabin about the landing.
Mr. Sevi was still resting.
That was the message conveyed by the beautiful girl’s catlike black eyes.
To this day, Vinian still remembered the moment after graduating from aviation school when she was fortunate enough to stand out from the crowd.
Under everyone’s envious gazes, she signed the document bearing the white sea lion crest of the Sevi family and became a private jet cabin crew member earning an annual salary of five hundred thousand euros.
That top Alpha, beautiful like a god, had stood before her.
He tucked her soft bangs behind her ear and gently praised her beautiful eyes.
Everyone believed little Vinian—whose grades had not been the best in school and whose appearance had not been the absolute most stunning—had climbed onto a high branch overnight…
—But in reality?
The cockpit door was softly closed again.
Vinian turned and returned to the passenger cabin, her high heels making not a single sound against the thick luxurious carpet.
—In reality, that had been the first and last time she would ever stand so close to Biqita Sevi.
Only two seats existed inside the passenger cabin.
The commercial private aircraft, capable of carrying seventy-five people, had gone through two years and three design teams from purchase to interior remodeling before ultimately becoming what it was now—
An entirely spacious cabin interior.
At the center sat two large custom ergonomic sofas.
Sunlight filtered through the clouds outside and reflected into the cabin, scattering spots of light across the dark carpet.
One sofa on the left.
One sofa on the right.
Each occupied by a young Alpha.
Blond hair.
Blue eyes.
Broad shoulders and long legs.
An ancient Germanic bloodline that, centuries ago, had once been worshipped by countless people as the perfect race personally created by God—
Just like the two identical handsome faces in the cabin now, beautiful enough to rival sculptures displayed in museums today.
They were Rhine Sevi and Biqita Sevi.
The sole and undisputed heirs of one of the most powerful mafia families across the ocean.
After five years of exile in America, the Sevi twins had become increasingly active in high society ever since graduating and returning home these past few years.
Inside the quiet cabin, Biqita Sevi wore silver-rimmed glasses.
His long lashes lowered.
One hand supported his chin while he seriously flipped through materials regarding “Zhao Global Shipping Corporation.”
On the sofa beside him, Rhine Sevi had originally been asleep.
But perhaps because of the turbulence caused by the plane descending—
Or perhaps for some other reason…
When Biqita softly turned another page, the eyeballs beneath Rhine’s closed eyelids began moving restlessly.
Whether the twins truly possessed some kind of innate empathic connection or not, despite everything remaining silent, Biqita still seemed to sense something and turned to glance at his younger brother.
Rhine was sleeping very uneasily.
Rarely, low beastlike gasps and murmurs even escaped him.
As the cabin crew all silently halted whatever services they had been preparing and retreated far away because of this, Biqita shifted the files from his lap and turned toward Rhine.
At the same moment, Rhine Sevi awoke from his dream.
Those eyes abruptly opened.
Originally, they should have been identical emerald eyes like his brother’s.
Yet now, the left eye was conspicuously a black prosthetic.
The highest-grade glass craftsmanship rendered it exquisitely transparent and delicate.
From pupil to iris ring, every detail had been perfectly replicated one-to-one.
When Rhine’s eyes moved, the artificial eye almost perfectly matched the movement frequency of the healthy one.
Now those mismatched eyes rolled slowly before finally fixing upon his brother beside him.
“Biqita.”
A faint flush from the dream still lingered across the young top Alpha’s face.
Bare greed overflowed from his heterochromatic eyes.
Rhine’s voice was hoarse as he threw aside the blanket draped over his knees and sat up from the soft sofa.
“I dreamed about him.”
Rhine announced—
“This time there won’t be any problems anymore.
I swear on all the glory and achievements of my first half of life that I have an intense premonition.”
“We’re getting closer to him.”
The cabin gradually filled with the excited breathing of an Alpha.
A pheromone scent resembling sour shrub berries spread throughout the air.
It was an extremely strange scent.
First came an unbearable sourness that made one’s legs tremble uncontrollably.
Then followed bitterness, as though the most bitter liquid in the world had been forcefully poured down one’s throat.
Biqita barely shifted the file in his hands.
At this point he had almost finished reading everything after the section discussing Zhao Corporation.
Without lifting his head, he softly responded with an “Mm.”
As though his sense of smell had failed entirely.
After all, the twins shared identical pheromone scents.
Just as they were born on the same day—
“If I were you, Rhine,” said the elder brother who had become the older sibling by exactly one minute, “right now all you would do is scare him away again.”
The black prosthetic eye rolled dramatically.
The young Alpha heavily rolled his eyes.
“It wasn’t me who scared him away last time, Biqita.”
Rhine muttered while brushing his sweat-damp hair back behind his head.
His hand dropped again.
Staring at his own palm, he suddenly asked:
“Do you think I should take a shower?”
Biqita replied:
“The plane’s about to land.”
Rhine behaved as though he were deaf and blind.
He had already stood up and begun stripping off all his clothes.
The muscles covering every point of his skeleton had been trained to perfection.
His long legs sank slightly into the carpet beneath his feet.
Under the sunlight, the beautiful naked body somehow inspired no vulgarity whatsoever…
Instead, what came to mind was the pure holy creation standing beneath the apple tree in Eden before the birth of mankind.
Rhine strode barefoot toward the bathroom without the slightest psychological burden.
His actions immediately stirred the previously silent cabin crew into motion.
Bathrobes.
Slippers.
Toiletries.
All were brought over immediately.
The sacrificial offering standing there with lowered head staring at his own shoes was a young male Beta with black hair and green eyes.
This was Dean’s second time flying with them.
After taking the tray from Vinian and carrying the items to the bathroom entrance, his heartbeat thundered wildly.
“M-Mr. Sevi…”
Within his field of vision, he could only see Rhine Sevi leaning lazily against the bathroom doorway.
The Alpha gave a lazy hum and asked:
“New?”
Dean nodded.
His face flushed red, but his voice became firmer.
“Yes, sir!”
He heard the man above him chuckle softly.
The next second, a strong powerful hand suddenly shot out and grabbed the wrist holding the tray.
The Beta jumped in fright and instinctively recoiled before raising his head—
Only to crash directly into a pair of mismatched eyes.
His heart nearly stopped beating.
“Biqita,” Rhine said to his brother behind him, “just now, when I dreamed about him, I dreamed about that day again.”
Behind them in the cabin, the young man whose name had been called slowly flipped the file in his hands to the final page.
Without lifting his head, his tone carried amusement.
“Which part?
The part where you were stuffed into a helicopter like a dead pig and sent to a private hospital?”
Rhine obviously heard the ridicule in Biqita’s words.
But he wasn’t angry at all.
He tightened his grip around the Beta’s wrist until the other party cried out in pain and began begging for mercy.
Then, before everyone present, Dean was dragged into the bathroom without the slightest room for resistance.
The sound of running water inside the bathroom could not drown out the turbulence from the descending aircraft.
Biqita Sevi stared at the folder before him only to realize he could no longer focus whatsoever—
In truth, the intense excitement caused by nearing a certain destination had not only affected Rhine.
Lifting the linen shirt on his body slightly, he could clearly see goosebumps rising densely across his arms…
Like carnivorous predators lurking through the night finally discovering their flock of sheep before dawn arrived.
