Chapter 60 Part 3: First Outing

“Jeff, have you ever bought anything online?”

“Yes?” Amy said as I sat on the floor and scribbled in my sketchbook.

I searched my memory at her words.

“They said a package was delivered to your address?”

“A package?”

“Yes.”

I put down the crayons I was holding and got up from my seat.

Internet? A package?

Of course, I had Amy’s credit card, but I had never bought anything online with it.

“Oh!”

At that moment, I remembered the event I had entered with Shine a few days ago for [The Little Witch’s Great Adventure].

“I entered the event prize.”

“Really?”

“Yes! Do you know what came?”

“I didn’t check the contents, so I don’t know?”

“Oh…!”

I stamped my feet and circled around Amy.

Since there were no packages that could have come to me other than the event entries, I knew I had definitely won a prize.

“Wait a minute. They said they were on their way.”

Amy said as she hugged me as I moved around excitedly.

My legs were shaking, so only then did I release the strength in my body.

It was well past lunchtime.

Shine looked at the man in the black suit without saying anything.

I entered the room holding the box.

Amy was once again out of the office to take care of Jin’s work.

I placed the box on the table and sat down in front of it.

“What could it be?”

I touched my cheeks that were flushed with anticipation, then took out a small paper knife on the table and started to open the box.

The tape didn’t cut easily because the blade was dull, but this was the only knife Shine and I could use.

Amy said it was dangerous and wouldn’t let me use a regular cutter knife, so it was an inevitable choice.

Knock knock—I was able to open the entire box after much effort, poking the box with the sharp part of my knife.

The contents of the box were more substantial than I thought.

There was an art book depicting the characters, their items, and the techniques they used, a soundtrack CD, and an SD figure of the main character Lucy.

I carefully took the figure out and placed it on the table.

SD Lucy’s spot was decided to be next to the dinosaur stone.

I brought the second box forward.

It was a smaller box than before.

I got down from my chair and headed straight to my computer.

With my mouse in my hand, I accessed the event page with a large Lucy just like a few days ago.

I scrolled down the mouse and clicked on the special prize section in the prize list.

Then, a large golden ticket appeared with a glittering effect.

Below it was a description of the theme park that could be entered with the golden ticket.

“Wow!”

The golden ticket, which allowed up to four people to accompany me, had incredible power.

It allowed free use of all facilities, an art book with voice actors’ autographs, and all event entry prizes except for the first and second place prizes.

That meant I could receive Lucy’s cloak blanket.

I jumped down from my computer chair, shaking my butt.

“We have to go out! Hurry up! We have to go quickly!”

“You’re going out?”

I was so excited that I started running around the room and stuffing things into my bag.

I packed my sketchbook and the coffee mix that Baek-shi had on his back just in case.

I also stuffed Lucy’s hat and magic wand tightly into my bag.

“Do we have to go out?”

Then Shine came up behind me and asked.

“Yeah. I won an event. I think I have to go out.”

“But Amy told you not to go.”

“Yeah. That’s true.”

“And Jeff. It’s a really scary place outside.”

I nodded to Shine’s words.

It was a dangerous and scary place, as she said, but it was very important to me.

“Isn’t it a blanket…?” I muttered weakly.

“But Shine. Wouldn’t it be okay if I get permission from Amy?”

“Jeff.”

Shine looked at me silently.

“Shine… let’s go see the house. And let’s go to the theme park.”

I pleaded and hung on to her arm.

Amy, me, and Shine were definitely fixed.

The remaining seats would obviously be Rain or Victor, but I couldn’t take Victor because he was under house arrest.

I nodded weakly at Shine’s calm voice and answered.

I silently observed Shine’s expression.

Shine, who seemed to be deep in thought and sat silently, nodded after a long time.

“If Amy gives permission, I’m fine with it.”

“Really?”

“Yeah.”

I got up from my seat and ran to Shine and hugged her.

She was sitting on the soft bed, and we rolled around on the blanket together.

While I was spending time with Shine, playing with dinosaur rocks and SD Lucy figures, Amy came back to her room.

“Amy!”

When I saw Amy coming into the room, I immediately ran to her with the golden ticket in my hand.

She smiled as if she was used to my reaction and hugged me with both arms.

“Hey, Jeff. Did you have fun?”

“Yes!”

I held onto Amy’s neck with both hands and showed the golden ticket in front of her eyes.

“I won this!”

“Won?”

“Yes. It’s a ticket to a theme park.”

“Um.”

“Yeah!”

Shine kept her mouth shut.

Amy accepted the ticket at my words and walked over to the computer desk.

She sat me down on the desk and sat down in her chair and started checking the website I had accessed.

“It’s a special prize?”

“Yes!”

“You have to go there yourself?”

“Yes!”

“But it’s dangerous outside…”

Amy sank into her chair and started spinning around.

I looked at her pink hair with nervous eyes.

“Amy. I want to go outside too.”
