A Star’s Gaze and a Sister’s Tease

Chapter 621,333 words12 min read

“It’s a huge star, Chen Ran!”

“Oh, right, Lengleng, didn’t you mention that the big star is Chen Ran’s classmate, even sitting at the table directly ahead?”

Confronted by her sister’s hushed, excited words, Jiang Lengleng merely nodded.

“Mmm. 😶😶😶”

“If only I could get an autograph.”

“Are you a fan, Zilin?”

“No, not really, but she’s a huge star, isn’t she? Everyone would want her autograph, right?”

“Uh…”

‘Chen Ran inexplicably found himself imagining a scenario: if he were alone with Duanmu Hui and asked her for an autograph, she might very well twist her waist against him, her face full of seductive charm.’

‘She would then pull out a pen and sign her name directly onto his body.’

‘What on earth was he thinking?!’

Chen Ran immediately shook his head, dispelling the absurd thought.

As he lifted his gaze, he met Duanmu Hui’s eyes, which were already fixed on him. The nation’s ice-cold beauty idol now wore a distinctly displeased, yet charmingly pouting, expression. Her eyes, brimming with a sense of grievance, seemed to ask if it was because…

‘…he had ignored her last Saturday and this Saturday?’

Last week, of course, had been entirely consumed. Not only did he have to accompany Rinzi to a television program, but he also had to handle the distressing matter of Lengleng being plagiarized and bullied. Naturally, he had no mental space to entertain Duanmu Hui’s repeated calls for him to meet her at some hotel.

This week was even more out of the question; he was embarking on a vacation with the Jiang sisters. There was simply no way he could spare any time for her.

‘She had likely spotted him here.’

‘Duanmu Hui must have quickly surmised that he wouldn’t be meeting her at a hotel tomorrow either, hence her current irritation?’

Mmm.

‘For some inexplicable reason, Chen Ran felt a peculiar unease, yet deep down, he genuinely wished to sever this rather unconventional relationship with Duanmu Hui.’

Moments later, the beautiful idol, enveloped by her retinue of staff, vanished down the long hotel corridor.

‘Presumably, the film crew’s set was located on the opposite side of the building.’

Chen Ran, along with Jiang Zilin and Jiang Lengleng, swiftly completed their check-in formalities in the hotel lobby before retreating to their room to deposit their luggage.

“Shall we head out and explore a bit more?”

Chen Ran offered the suggestion, and to his amusement, Jiang Zilin, who had been so timid and reserved just moments ago, now responded with newfound vigor.

“Roar!!”

She looked utterly impatient, ready to depart at a moment’s notice.

She was, indeed, the epitome of “both a coward and a thrill-seeker”.

And so, they once again departed the hotel, stepping out onto the bustling streets.

The tourist service area, built around the base of Mount Takao, presented itself as an entire quaint, ancient-looking town.

Constructed to encircle the mountain, and featuring bluestone paths winding through the forest, it was not uncommon to spot monkeys, birds, or squirrels pausing along the way.

Occasional streams meandered through the landscape, yet in stark contrast to the natural tranquility, the throngs of people and the clamor of vendors hawking their wares along the long street created a far greater din.

To Chen Ran, however, there was nothing particularly remarkable about the place.

In fact, during his winter and summer breaks before his transmigration, he had frequently traveled alone to various other destinations. Truth be told, most tourist spots of this nature tended to be quite similar.

Strolling down the street,

one inevitably encountered overpriced souvenirs, rather underwhelming local delicacies, and ubiquitous snacks found across all corners of the land—classics like Dongbei BBQ and Roujiamo, for instance.

In this world, post-transmigration, such items were, of course, absent. Their place had been taken by taiyaki, takoyaki, and a plethora of ramen variations.

This even led Chen Ran to entertain the fleeting delusion of perhaps establishing a Dongbei BBQ stall here himself…

His thoughts, it seemed, were slowly veering into the absurd.

As they walked along,

the ever-dutiful Jiang Lengleng steadfastly held onto one of her sister’s hands, as if fearing her somewhat foolish elder sister might wander off and get lost.

Jiang Zilin, for her part, remained true to form, equally terrified of getting lost herself. One hand clutched her sister’s sleeve, while the other gripped her own.

However, this left her with no free hands to eat.

Consequently, Chen Ran found himself walking along, constantly holding out various snacks to feed her by hand.

While a touch peculiar, their “cooperation” was, fortunately, surprisingly harmonious.

Chen Ran couldn’t quite pinpoint when his relationship with Jiang Zilin had evolved into “this sort of dynamic.” Perhaps it was simply the natural telepathy that existed between family members?

‘Or perhaps, a deep familiarity with the female psyche?’

With food now in hand, Jiang Zilin’s attention evidently shifted from the surrounding throngs to the immediate present, effectively alleviating her earlier nervousness.

She even found herself tugging at his sleeve, her eyes wide and pleading, softly whispering about wanting to buy something else to eat.

‘Eat, eat, eat—is that all she ever thinks about?’

Observing the two prominent bulges of ‘fluff’ accumulating beneath Jiang Zilin’s brown hoodie, Chen Ran felt an overwhelming urge to roll his eyes.

Evidently, she had thoroughly researched their destination online prior to their arrival.

Along the way, Jiang Zilin had sampled every single internet-famous snack that necessitated a queue, only to declare them “just passable.”

Chen Ran wholeheartedly concurred; in his experience, any food requiring a queue at a tourist attraction was simply not worth the wait.

Despite spending the entire day queuing for Jiang Zilin’s purchases,

Chen Ran harbored no annoyance.

Because…

“Chen Ran, you’ve worked so hard~”

Later that evening, upon their return to the hotel room, Jiang Zilin insisted he lie down on her tatami mat, whereupon she began to give him a full body massage.

It was just as she had once promised.

Once her whims were indulged, she would “repay” him generously.

“Mmm, if Chen Ran were my boyfriend, this wouldn’t be a massage right now; instead, you could freely ‘enjoy’ my…”

As she continued the massage, she even blew a teasing breath into his ear.

‘Chen Ran couldn’t help but wonder what exactly she meant.’

‘Your sister is still right here!’

At that very moment, within the hotel room, Jiang Lengleng was engrossed in a book, maintaining a facade of complete obliviousness to her sister’s intimate gestures towards Chen Ran.

Her composure was almost unnervingly excessive!

“I’ve already told you, haven’t I? If Chen Ran is good to me, then I’ll be good to Chen Ran too – the kind of good where I’ll bear Chen Ran many, many plump, adorable babies~”

“…”

Confronted by Jiang Zilin’s incessant rambling, Chen Ran had evidently developed a complete immunity.

Truth be told, though.

Lying prone on the bed, with the soft-bodied woman settled on his lower back, kneading his shoulders and spine, was undeniably quite comfortable.

Especially Jiang Zilin—that sly one—she fully understood the assignment, pressing her entire weight down onto him.

This intensified the unique, fragrant softness of her body’s touch.

Mmm…

‘Chen Ran felt it was verging on outright foul play.’

‘It was deliberate; she was absolutely doing it on purpose. Her body began to intentionally press her ample chest against his back, then started to subtly twist.’

‘This lewd woman!’

‘Chen Ran realized that Jiang Zilin was deliberately provoking him, emboldened by Jiang Lengleng’s presence, certain that he wouldn’t dare do anything to her.’

“Hee hee hee, Chen Ran’s body is so firm! Lengleng, come here quickly and look—Chen Ran is all muscle, so hard and solid!”
