‘Was this… a confession?’
A blush crept across Bai Jingjing’s face, and she instinctively recoiled slightly.
Though she was amply endowed, she wasn’t adept at handling such direct confessions.
“Um, um, I have another question,” the young woman quickly diverted the conversation. “Why does Teacher Wanqing know about Luo Xuan and me?”
Liu Wanqing smiled gently. “It’s quite simple. Do you remember the first time we met, when you and Luo Xuan came to the school to find me?”
Bai Jingjing nodded obediently. “I remember.”
The weather had been pleasant that day, the sun bright but not scorching, and the gentle early summer breeze had blown softly, much like Liu Wanqing herself when Bai Jingjing first met her—radiating a dazzling allure, yet possessing an unparalleled gentleness.
“I recall the sun was lovely that day, the light very bright, very white,” Liu Wanqing stated first.
“Yes, that’s right, the light was excellent,” Bai Jingjing affirmed, somewhat bewildered. “Very white.”
Liu Wanqing glanced at her, a faint smile playing on her lips. “I meant, your thighs were very white.”
“…Huh?”
“You were wearing white hot pants that day, very short. Your thighs were very white and long, and Luo Xuan’s eyes kept darting upwards,” Liu Wanqing said casually. “I could tell then; there was a lot contained within her gaze.”
Bai Jingjing tilted her head. “A lot contained? What kind of a lot?”
“Her eyes were practically screaming, ‘When we get back, I’m going to hold these legs and… do whatever I want with them,'” Liu Wanqing paused. “Apologies, I don’t know how you two usually play, so I can’t quite articulate the last few words.”
“…That’s enough, thank you.” Bai Jingjing was expressionless.
Good heavens, was Luo Xuan really that obvious? She hadn’t even noticed.
She needed to remind her, at least. Others could notice, but not Xia Chu.
After all, they were the best of friends in the entire world.
Liu Wanqing smiled. “Is there anything else you wish to know?”
“Not at the moment… not right now.”
Perhaps later, but for now, she would set it aside.

Lunch consisted of exquisite pan-fried pork chops with rice, drizzled with a fragrant sauce. Unlike Bai Jingjing’s specialty in home-style cooking, Liu Wanqing’s meal was more akin to the Western-style fare found in a tea restaurant, yet the flavor was superb, even better than anything outside.
After a brief nap by the headboard in the afternoon, she rose to begin the day’s instruction.
“Since you’ve taken the commission, you can draw here,” Liu Wanqing led her to her usual drawing spot. “I’ll observe from the side and help you correct any bad habits.”
“Okay.”
The studio beside the balcony offered the softest natural light, and sitting there, no matter what she did, she felt a sense of ease.
“Although the main story has been decided, the details haven’t been fully discussed, so she asked me to first design the characters,” Bai Jingjing set up her drawing tablet. “There are two main characters.”
Liu Wanqing sat beside her, her movements gentle. “You draw. Don’t mind me.”
“Mm.”
Bai Jingjing picked up her digital pen, holding it suspended in the air. After finding her rhythm for a moment, she officially began to draw.
The loli character—a loli in a white dress with white stockings and white hair—she had drawn many times before. Whether it was long straight hair, a single ponytail, or twin ponytails, she could conjure them effortlessly.
Considering that summer was in full swing and the weather was getting warmer, a refreshing hairstyle would be better, so Bai Jingjing chose a single ponytail.
Bai Jingjing drew meticulously, while Liu Wanqing occasionally came over, offering a few pointers. The young woman had dropped out of school in her first year of high school, including art classes, and having self-taught with makeshift methods for years, she naturally had many poor habits.
Liu Wanqing patiently and gently pointed them out one by one, sometimes even holding Bai Jingjing’s small hand to personally guide her.
“…This way, your strokes will feel much smoother.”
Following Liu Wanqing’s method, Bai Jingjing found that her hand indeed felt much softer, and her lines became more pleasing to the eye. She couldn’t help but exclaim sincerely:
“Teacher Wanqing, you’re amazing.”
Liu Wanqing chuckled softly, responding, “Your hand is very soft too; it’s quite comfortable to touch.”
“…”
She wondered if this counted as mutual flattery.
Before long, a half-finished line art was complete. The lines were clean, and the drawing had a high degree of completion, which even Liu Wanqing acknowledged.
“When I said your foundational skills were lacking, it was only in comparison to your other strengths. In fact, if not judged by my standards, objectively speaking, among artists at your stage, your foundational skills could be considered quite excellent, and you have visible potential for improvement.”
Bai Jingjing blinked, asking cautiously, “Teacher Wanqing, are you being serious?”
Liu Wanqing did not reply. After a few seconds of silence, she stated very earnestly, “Bai Jingjing, you will become one of the most outstanding artists.”
A serious conclusion, delivered with genuine sincerity.
Bai Jingjing’s heart swelled with excitement, her small hand clutching the digital pen trembling slightly.
“Keep drawing. You mentioned there are two main characters, right?” Liu Wanqing once again held her soft little hand, gently caressing it a few times. “Steady yourself, keep drawing.”
“Okay!”
The young woman was suddenly filled with vigor, as if Liu Wanqing had infused her with two hundred percent energy. Combined with the guidance she had just received, her strokes now flowed as if guided by a divine hand.
Not long after, she completed what was arguably her finest line art in years.
Even as a preliminary sketch, the lines were enough to outline the girl’s beauty, her lively and adorable appearance, and a pair of soft, generous curves that swayed with every movement.
Childlike face, busty, cute, beautiful girl.
“It’s finished,” Bai Jingjing said excitedly. “Teacher Wanqing, please take a look. How is this one?”
Liu Wanqing’s gaze swept over the drawing. She had been smiling faintly, but upon seeing the artwork, her smile gradually faded after a moment.
Bai Jingjing observed her reaction, her heart skipping a beat. “Teacher Wanqing, is there… a problem with this drawing?”
‘Could it be that what you said earlier wasn’t sincere, and you only said it to… to screw me… no, I mean, to pamper me?’
“There is indeed a problem, but not what you’re thinking,” Liu Wanqing frowned slightly, asking seriously, “Bai Jingjing, is this character your own creation, or did you draw it according to the client’s requirements?”
This was a serious question.
If it was what the client requested, then it was very serious, implying that her little girlfriend was being coveted by a loli and was going to be subjected to naughty things.
If Bai Jingjing drew it herself, then… that was even more serious, implying that her little girlfriend *wanted* to be subjected to naughty things by a loli.
And for a moment, Liu Wanqing truly couldn’t figure out which of the two situations was worse.
Bai Jingjing was a little confused, answering truthfully, “It was drawn entirely according to the client’s requirements. What’s wrong?”
Liu Wanqing was silent for a moment, then asked, “Didn’t you find it a little familiar when you drew it?”
“It does seem a little familiar. I felt a sense of familiarity even before I started drawing it,” Bai Jingjing furrowed her delicate brows. “I just couldn’t figure out what it was.”
Liu Wanqing turned back to the bedroom, retrieved a small mirror, and handed it to her. “You’ll know once you look.”
