The collaboration broadcast with Gajunsik ended successfully.
How successful, you ask? Enough for videos related to me to completely flood MeTube.
As expected of issue-focused MeTubers—they act fast. Within less than a day, all the content was already uploaded.
It was clear that survival in this profession required relentless effort.
The community’s reactions were also intense. A quick glance revealed a literal furnace of activity.

One meme caught my eye: on the left, a picture of me flashing a V-sign; on the right, a screenshot of yesterday’s flooded group chat posts.
The caption read:
“Doesn’t Matter vs. Gone Crazy Spamming LOL”

Seeing people still buzzing about yesterday’s collaboration broadcast brought a satisfied smile to my face.
Thanks to all the free publicity, I just needed to create the next great game now.
“We’ve arrived,” the taxi driver announced.
I nodded politely and stepped out of the taxi.
Slowly, I walked toward the detached house that was my destination.
This might sound completely out of the blue, but I have grandparents—of course, without them, I wouldn’t exist.
My grandmother was Russian.
Though she’s no longer with us, when I first met her as a child, I distinctly remember asking my mother, “Mom, why does Grandma paint gold in her hair?”
My mother had replied, “Go look in the mirror.”
Even back then, my hair had streaks of gold. Not as vividly golden as it is now, but enough to give off an exotic vibe.
There are quite a few amusing anecdotes about that—around five or so—but why am I bringing this up all of a sudden?
“Oh, Yurim, you’re here!”
“What have you been up to lately?”
It’s because, as the only one in my family to inherit my grandmother’s genes, I grew up basking in a lot of attention from relatives.
Just as every household has unique recipes (like the strange ingredients my mom puts in her fried rice), every family has its own unique traditions.
For the Han family, one such tradition is gathering around the time summer begins in earnest.
This timing coincides with my grandfather’s birthday.
Since July doesn’t have any long holidays, busy people didn’t have to attend (and no, this wasn’t passive-aggressive; they really didn’t need to come), but the date was usually adjusted to maximize attendance, so nearly everyone came (okay, maybe there was some passive-aggressiveness after all).
Proudly puffing out my chest, I responded confidently to my relatives’ greetings.
“I recently leveled up from being a genius developer to a super developer.”
“Yurim, you’re always so lively.”
“Well, it’s Yurim, after all.”
“Yurim, you’re just the same as ever, huh?”
“I’m always myself,” I replied.
After exchanging pleasantries with my second uncle, third aunt, and youngest uncle, I made my way to the room where my cousins were gathered.
No matter how inseparable cousins might have been as kids, they inevitably grow distant as they mature.
We were no exception.
“Hey, sis, you’re here?”
“Yuseong, how have you been?”
“I’m good, but what’s up with your tone? Did you just watch an anime or something?”
Still, we weren’t complete strangers.
The cousins’ group chat was active, and we occasionally made time to meet up.
At the very least, we exchanged casual greetings.
I glanced around the room.
Everyone except Yuseong was lying around like zombies with VR headsets on.
It wasn’t exactly a pleasant sight, but who am I? As someone with a foreigner’s open mind, I didn’t let it bother me.
“Maybe I should only give this round of pocket money to Yuseong.”
“Hey! Sis is here! What’s everyone doing?”
“Ah, Yuseong, it’s fine.”
“No way, sis! You should’ve said you were coming.”
“We didn’t even know you were here.”
One by one, my cousins sluggishly got up to greet me. I nodded and motioned for everyone to follow me.
“What’s up, sis?”
“Are you treating us to coffee or something?”
Without knowing what was happening, my cousins followed me outside, where their jaws dropped at the sight of boxes piled high in my dad’s car.
“Here’s a latest-model laptop and tablet for each of you. Take one.”
“W-what?”
“Wait, what?”
Their reactions showed just how unexpected this gift was.
Normally, such gifts are handed out in front of the adults.
There’s an unspoken rule that letting the adults know about gifts ensures they reciprocate in some way.
But I didn’t need anyone’s help anymore. I simply handed out the gifts quietly.
Right now, I’m at a stage of self-sufficiency—immune to aging, poison, heat, and cold, standing as an absolute master of my craft.
“Should we keep this a secret from the adults?”
“Got it, sis. I’ll take this secret to my grave.”
“Thanks, sis!”
I stared silently at my cousins, and Yuseong quickly opened his mouth.
“I’m going to brag about this right away, sis.”
“Ah, Yuseong, you don’t have to…”
“No, seriously, as soon as we go inside, we’re bragging, okay?”
“Yuseong, you’ve just finished your military service, right?”
“That’s right.”
“You’re so full of energy. I was like that too.”
“I never thought I’d get military tips from a cousin. Sis, why did you even enlist in the first place?”
“I had a brief moment of madness.”
Like Bunnyrun once said, human IQ is flexible—it sometimes dips to dolphin levels.
Back then, I was deeply engrossed in creating ultra-realistic characters, and I just… went for it.
Eventually, I succeeded in creating Infinity Zero, but at the time, I was so out of it that I kept muttering gibberish.
Looking back now, it’s a funny memory.
We all headed to the yard to eat lunch.
The owner of this house, my eldest uncle, is the most successful member of the Han family.
He runs a fairly large mid-sized company, lifting our family from below average to a better status.
Since he also takes care of our grandfather, he holds the most influence within the Han family.
Grandfather’s birthday celebration was a simple affair.
They hired a catering service, and people could eat if they wanted to or chat if they felt like it—just that kind of vibe.
I helped myself to Donghae’s special buttered king crab, piling it high on my plate and devouring it thoroughly.
Relatives chattered nearby.
“I heard Yuhan ranked in the top five in school again this time.”
“You’re lucky. Being in the top five at a science high school practically guarantees admission to Korea University.”
That was the second uncle and the third aunt speaking.
The “Yuhan” who ranked in the top five was the son of the first uncle—a cousin I favored the most among the Han family’s second generation—and the younger brother of Yuseong.
Just for reference, I’m the oldest among all of us in the second generation of the Han family.
That’s because my father married very early.
“With the amount of money spent on tutoring, he better get those grades.”
“There he goes again. You’re pleased, aren’t you?”
“I’m still worried. Just being good at studying isn’t enough. He needs to be as sharp and dependable as Yurim.”
When the first uncle said that, the adults’ gazes momentarily turned toward me before returning to their previous discussions.
Their voices quieted.
“So, Yurim, how’s the game development going these days? Is it going well?”
“Well, it’s Yurim. Of course, she’s doing well, isn’t she?”
“She’s sharp, but she can also be peculiar. She might get stuck on something strange and waste her time. Seunghoon, have you heard anything about her?”
“Huh?”
“Well, you see, eldest brother—”
Slap. My mother discreetly smacked my father’s thigh.
This was her way of honoring the promise I’d asked her to keep—to not talk about certain things outside. Truly, she was a paragon of loyalty.
Though, to be fair, it wouldn’t have mattered much if she told the relatives, especially the first uncle.
From what I’d observed over the years, that was the case.
The first uncle spoke again, sounding somewhat exasperated.
“Even if someone is talented, they won’t succeed without luck. Looking back, I was incredibly lucky. If my first business attempt hadn’t succeeded, I’d have been buried in debt. Our family, with not a penny to its name back then, couldn’t have paid it off, and I’d probably still be dealing with debt collectors.”
“That’s true.”
“Game development isn’t cheap. If you ever need money, I was thinking I might invest a bit. Yurim is a top-tier stock, after all.”
As you might guess, unsolicited advice without any tangible help is just meddling, but advice that comes with financial backing is a commendable lesson from an elder.
And the first uncle had never offered advice without backing it up.
For that reason, I’d anticipated him bringing up the idea of investment.
However, I had already surpassed the stage of needing external financial support.
“First uncle, it’s okay.”
I confidently stood before my first uncle.
At that moment, my cousins—prompted by Yuseong, who urged them to stand—gathered behind me, holding the latest laptops and tablets in their hands.
When the first uncle saw this, a glint of realization crossed his eyes.
“You really don’t need my help anymore, do you?”
“First uncle, I’m heading to the next stage.”
“The next stage? Don’t be ridiculous. That’s a legendary realm no one has ever reached!”
“Just because others haven’t reached it doesn’t mean I can’t. Chief.”
“Yurim!”
My first uncle trembled with excitement.
I looked down upon everything with noble dignity.
The relatives began whispering.
“The eldest brother and Yurim really do get along well.”
“He’s the only one who’s humored her strange antics since the old days.”
“I love my daughter, but sometimes I can’t understand what she’s saying.”
“Gah!”
“Chief, let it go. How could worldly people understand the aspirations of someone from the martial world?”
In this increasingly lively dining atmosphere, my aunt suddenly seemed to remember something and asked,
“By the way, where’s Father?”
“He went out with some friends.”
“Then… isn’t this a birthday party without the birthday boy?”
“Our family’s always been like this. It’s not the first time.”
Indeed, the Han family was unique, unconstrained by conventional societal norms.
Yuseong approached me and asked,
“Sis, is the game development going well?”
“Of course.”
“I knew you’d succeed.”
For a moment, I felt like I was glimpsing into Yuseong’s military service life.
“…Game development?”
A cousin sitting across from me mumbled, and then suddenly stood up, pointing at me.
His actions overlapped with those of Gajunsik, whom I had met recently.
“Yuseong.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Yuseong dragged his younger sibling in front of me.
I whispered into my cousin Yuhan’s ear.
“If you play too many games, your grades might drop, you know?”
Yuhan whispered back,
“…I don’t play the games you make, just watch your streams.”
“That’s even worse. Livestreams are time-eating monsters. You’d be better off playing games.”
“It’s fine. I only watch on MeTube. Sis, are you really Han Yurim?”
At Yuhan’s question, I tilted my head.
“You’re just realizing now?”
“No, I mean… Are you that Han Yurim, the streamer?”
“Honestly, it’s more surprising that you’re only figuring it out now. Shouldn’t you have recognized me right away?”
“Who in their right mind would make their real appearance look identical to their avatar? I thought it was based on Thierry!”
What?
“So, are you calling me crazy?”
“No, that’s not what I meant.”
“Yuseong.”
“Yes, ma’am.”
Having dealt with Yuhan, I took a sip of oolong tea.
The martial world is truly a cold place.
[Do you know Han Yurim? She’s a streamer.]
– (Attached: photos of a laptop, tablet, and Han Yurim’s autograph)
Turns out, she’s my cousin. Haha.
I asked if I could share this online, and she said it was fine as long as I censored it well.
I can’t believe the streamer I subscribed to and donated to turned out to be my cousin. The resemblance in voice never clicked until she told me.
– Han Yurim? The Thierry master from Eternal World?
┗ Yep.
┗ Why are you students watching streams instead of studying? But yeah, Han Yurim is cool.
– Is she pretty?
┗ If Dad or my older brother finds out I’m talking about her online, I’ll be in huge trouble. Especially Dad—he might disown me.
As I browsed the college entrance community forum, I nodded in satisfaction.
Han Yuhan’s handle: secured.
Next, it was time for the VR broadcast gallery.
As usual, they were still raving about my recent collaboration stream with Gajunsik.
It had been a few days, and they were still at it.
I guess they really enjoyed the stream.
I skimmed through the popular posts.
Most of them were the usual content, but one post caught my eye.
[Platform Unification Tournament schedule is out! Haha]
