The advertisement was successfully concluded.
The viewers were cheering, the delicious cold noodles, and the advertiser who left a huge donation—all of it was perfect.
There was nothing missing from any part of it.
The advertisement broadcast, which I had done without much expectation, gave me quite a sense of satisfaction.
The first thing was that I didn’t have to worry about connecting with the viewers.
Do you know how it feels to squeeze out topics every day to figure out what to talk about?
I, a lucky unemployed person who had stumbled upon a successful broadcast, didn’t really have any major differences in life compared to regular viewers.
Me.
When I see streamers talking for hours about all sorts of topics, I can’t help but feel awe.
Or maybe it’s because some people have such deep and dense life experiences, so no matter how much they talk, the stories keep flowing.
It made me realize why old people loved storytellers with good verbal skills.
There was also a subtle pleasure in watching the products I was advertising being sold in real-time.
The thrill when the stock piles started to decrease one by one.
It felt like I had successfully made a sale and that my marketing skills were resulting in something.
Yes, I won’t deny it.
The cold noodle advertisement broadcast with Hanareum F&B was a lot of fun.
Even though it was a broadcast I did with no plan, just for the fun of it.
Perhaps because of that, my perception of the previously annoying advertisement proposal emails changed.
If it’s like this, I thought I could try a few more advertisements.
Of course, I’d need to carefully select the good ones.
I’ll take my time and pick through them later.
There are many more broadcasts ahead of me.
And so, I finished the advertisement broadcast, cleaned up the cold noodles and gas burner, and proceeded with the follow-up broadcast.
The follow-up broadcast wasn’t anything special; it was just part two of the broadcast because I didn’t want to end the stream after only two hours.
After all, the viewers had been complaining about the lack of broadcast time recently, so if I ended the stream immediately, I knew what would happen.
Honestly, it wouldn’t matter much, but it felt harsh to do that to those who only watched me.
It’s strange, but when I look back at myself like this, I’m often surprised.
When did I become a person who’s drawn into such trivial emotions?
Still, I thought it was much better than being a machine-like person with no emotions, so I nodded slightly.
“Like this… taking care of your teammates while making a move. For support role players like Bard, positioning is key to not getting killed. Since enemy dealers will be targeting the support characters, as long as you don’t die, that’s enough.”
Part two of the broadcast was an AoW (Age of War) broadcast.
With a bit of casual talk mixed in.
I didn’t have any special content to do, so I picked up a familiar game.
Since I didn’t feel like playing too tightly today, I chose a support character I could play more easily.
Thanks to that, I could chat with viewers while playing the game.
If I had nothing to say, I’d share some game tips or talk about whatever came to mind.
Even with that, there was always something to watch on the screen since I was playing the game.
“Is toast a meal or a snack? Hmm… That’s a tough question. Does it depend on how many you eat? That’s actually a good point. I see you’ve eaten some toast before.”
It was at that time, while I was chatting about trivial things with the viewers.
[? The cold noodles are sold out?]
[?]
[o?]
[They said it’s sold out]
[Sold out, haha]
[Teacher, you sold out]
[Sold-out goddess Mollru, haha]
Here is the translation, with every line starting in a new paragraph:
[They sold all the old stock, haha]
[Look at the power of the broth fans]
[I’m 60 years old and didn’t buy a single one, sigh]
[You’re out of the broth group, lol]
[The broth group is kinda disgusting]
[A broadcast where the fan nicknames change every time]
“Sold out?”
Sold out. That means the cold noodles I advertised have sold out.
What kind of unbelievable thing is this?
The news was that all the stock of a product that had been out for months and hadn’t had any other advertisements besides mine had sold out.
I didn’t think I had advertised it that well.
Dumbfounded, I ended up losing my life to the approaching agent.
It seemed that I wasn’t the only one who was shocked.
[So why is it sold out?]
I don’t know, I don’t either.
Why is the business doing well?
<Mollru, I found out where you live, haha>
She lives in a one-room apartment around the Sillim area.
I thought she’d live in a better place with the money she makes, but she seems surprisingly modest.
ᄋᄋ: What kind of aggro is this?
ᄂᄋᄋ: Don’t feed the idiot
ᄋᄋ: How many times is this new character post? It’s getting boring
oo: Even the yeses must be really tired
ᄋᄋ: 121.73, delusional broth arrested
<It’s true, you idiots, haha>
(Mollru jpg.)
During today’s advertisement broadcast, it was her face reflected in the cold noodle broth and the spoon.
I compared it with the real-life version I secretly followed last time.
It’s really her, haha, Mollru is really pretty
ᄋᄋ: I can’t believe there’s really someone like this…
ᄋᄋ: The author’s mother is crying in real-time
ᄋᄋ: Going to the delusional gallery
ᄋᄋ: The spoon is whatever, but the cold noodle broth… never imagined, haha, look how creepy this guy is
ᄂᄋᄋ: haha, it’s blurry, so you can’t even see it clearly, but if you think about how it was split frame by frame, enlarged, and sharpened
It’s so creepy
ᄂᄋᄋ: I don’t know why you’re creeped out. haha, they probably just picked up a random photo somewhere
Loo: Kids are so innocent, it’s cute
“Garbage…”
He had a sense of superiority, knowing Mollru’s real face, and the need for recognition that he couldn’t fulfill anywhere in reality.
The man wanted to educate these foolish community members while simultaneously being recognized by them.
<I’m waiting around and took a picture of Mollru’s real face>
Now you’ll believe it, right?
Honestly, you guys are curious about Mollru’s face too.
You’re curious about where she lives, what she usually does, I’m not the only one, right?
Her face is too precious just for me to look at, so I took a picture and posted it.
ᄋᄋ: It’s gone this far, now it’s even predicting crimes;
oo: The world is scary, seeing people doing this in a community
ᄋᄋ: Shouldn’t we report this?
ᄋᄋ: I don’t know, this guy seems crazy
Here is the translation, with every line starting in a new paragraph:
ᄋᄋ: I can’t tell if it’s real or fake at this point.
ᄂᄋᄋ: What’s real, haha? It’s just an idiot talking nonsense. Don’t get dragged into the aggro.
ᄋᄋ: Domestic stalker gallery, haha;
oo: Yeah, next time make sure to confirm the address and take a picture. No proof, no belief.
ᄂᄋᄋ: While you’re at it, feel her chest and give a review, haha. I’m really curious about that.
ᄂᄋᄋ: I took a screenshot, haha. I’ve reported it to the police.
The man, who had his face buried in his phone, raised his head.
A malicious smile was on his lips as he looked at the entrance to Mollru’s one-room apartment.
“It smells nice.” It’s rooibos tea.
“Oh, thank you.”
It was Siyoung’s house.
The reason he had come to Siyoung’s house was nothing special.
It was the usual YouTube strategy meeting.
A regular meeting every week where we discuss Siyoung’s reports and the direction we need to move in.
In name, it was a discussion, but it was more like a one-sided meeting run by Siyoung.
As for me, I play the role of interjecting with things like “Hmm, I see,” “Sounds good,” or “Not sure about that.”
It was something we could do over the phone or Discord, but Siyoung preferred meeting in person, facing each other for the discussion.
I found it surprising that someone so familiar with computers and video editing would prefer this analog approach in some aspects.
This week, there wasn’t much to talk about.
Just catching up on YouTube growth and exchanging pleasantries.
Since we had some time left, I brought up the topic of advertisements.
“You want to do another ad?”
“Not just one, we might do several. I had fun doing this one.”
Siyoung nodded while sipping her tea, giving off a cool, career woman vibe.
She seemed like someone who would respond seriously and thoughtfully to whatever I said.
“I didn’t expect so many offers to come in, though you haven’t read them all…”
“I wasn’t thinking about ads back then.”
Siyoung started opening each email with offers, analyzing them one by one.
“Game ads are the safest bet. This one’s a special case. You said gacha games are a no-go, so I think these three would be good. They’d probably do well with YouTube views. Pick whichever you like from these.”
It was definitely better to think things over together rather than on my own.
I was hesitating among the shortlisted options.
“You didn’t eat lunch, right? You should have something before you go.”
“Yeah, I guess so.”
This was a common occurrence when having meetings with Siyoung.
When we had meetings at her place, she’d make food, and when we met outside, we’d end up at a restaurant.
I wonder why both Jiyeon and Siyoung are always so eager to feed me whenever they see me.
Do I look that weak?
While I was thinking, I heard sounds coming from the kitchen on the other side, then Siyoung quickly returned and placed a bowl in front of me.
The food inside was something I was quite familiar with.
“Cold noodles…?”
I couldn’t hide my surprise as I looked at the woman in front of me, smiling brightly.
So it was you, the culprit…
