‘Did a celebrity come to the wrong room?’
Jung Minhee was quite beautiful herself.
Back in school, she had never lost first place in the secret ranking of the prettiest girl in class, voted on by the boys.
But that was only within the realm of an ordinary person being called pretty.
The woman who had just entered the room was on a completely different level.
She didn’t seem to belong here, as if she had no reason to be involved with someone like Minhee.
The first thought that came to mind was whether she had come to the wrong place.
‘It can’t be Seol-Ah, right? Now that I think about it…’
As the manager and CEO of a company, Minhee wasn’t completely clueless.
Otherwise, the company wouldn’t function.
She knew that Jeon Jeonseol’s real name was Jeon Seol-Ah.
She also knew that she was the terrifying chairman’s daughter.
And as another person who had watched her streams, she was also aware that Seol-Ah’s hand size was only 13 cm.
The woman who had just entered the room was obviously over 170 cm tall.
If her hands were really only 13 cm despite that height and figure, it would be completely unbalanced.
Sure enough, the woman had long, slender, and elegant fingers that could make anyone stare in admiration.
‘Then who is she?’
Going back to square one, Minhee concluded that the woman in front of her had indeed come to the wrong room.
“I’m Seol-Ah unnie’s younger sister, Seol-Yoon. Nice to meet you.”
Was she deliberately waiting for the perfect moment to enjoy Minhee’s confusion?
After giving her enough time to be thoroughly flustered, Jeon Seol-Yoon finally spoke.
So, she really was someone else.
But at least she wasn’t in the wrong place.
Feeling relieved, Minhee responded.
“Ah, so you’re her younger sister. Nice to meet you. I’m Jung Minhee.”
Seol-Ah was twenty-three, which meant her younger sister had to be even younger.
Minhee herself was twenty-seven.
But in social settings, it was basic etiquette to use formal speech with younger people as well.
Sticking to the basics, Minhee greeted her politely.
“By the way, is Seol-Ah not coming?”
The plan for today was a meal with streamer Jeon Jeonseol.
Surely, she wouldn’t have sent her sister in her place?
Minhee asked with that implication, and Seol-Yoon glanced behind her.
Minhee didn’t understand the meaning behind her action.
“?”
Then, from behind Seol-Yoon’s coat, a figure hesitantly stepped forward.
Wearing a stiff expression and speaking in a nervous voice, she turned to her sister.
“W-what was ‘Nice to meet you’ in Korean again?”
“It’s ‘mannaseo bangawo,’ unnie.”
“M-mannaseo bangawo!”
A native Korean struggling to speak her own language?
Seol-Yoon poked Seol-Ah in the side.
Then she whispered in her ear.
“You need to add ‘yo,’ unnie. ‘Bangawo’ is informal.”
“Yo!”
‘What is this adorable creature?’
For starters, the fact that she had been hiding behind her sister was already unusual.
Just how much had she curled up to be completely unseen? Was she a ninja or something?
Surprisingly, she had a decent height and figure—around 160 cm.
But…
‘Ah, platform shoes.’
No matter how well-made height-increasing shoes were, they always gave themselves away.
If insoles over 5 cm could look natural, that would be alien technology.
Had Minhee not looked at her feet, she might not have noticed.
But the moment she glanced down, she figured it out.
Those insoles were at least 10 cm.
No wonder her posture looked a little unstable.
‘As expected, a fraud!’
You couldn’t determine someone’s exact height just by looking at their hand size, but there was still a proportional relationship.
If someone completely defied that, they were the exception, not the rule.
Minhee had suspected the height boost the moment she saw Seol-Ah’s hands—because she already had prior knowledge of their size.
‘So cute.’
Her face? No need to even mention it. An angel? A goddess?
Unlike her sharp-featured sister, Seol-Ah had an extremely soft and gentle appearance, doubling her cuteness.
It suited her small frame perfectly.
Minhee felt an urge to hug her.
Everything about her was adorable—the way she hid behind her sister, how nervous she was, how she wore extreme height insoles to seem taller.
Every single action was overwhelmingly cute.
‘Blonde hair and a big chest? That’s suspicious too.’
From the way she spoke on streams, she didn’t seem like the type to enjoy going to salons.
And yet, she had bleached her hair—a color that required frequent maintenance?
That was suspicious.
Naturally, Minhee assumed her real hair was either black or dark brown.
But instead, near-white blonde locks framed her face.
So, of course, she had to suspect something.
And sure enough, the hair was a wig, and the chest was an illusion.
But since Minhee didn’t say it out loud, Seol-Ah remained blissfully unaware that her entire disguise had been exposed in just 30 seconds.
‘Then just how cute is her real self?!’
If they got closer and built trust, would Minhee get to see Seol-Ah in her true form?
At that moment, she resolved to dedicate herself to her company like a loyal dog.
She had fallen at first sight—for the sheer adorableness of Jeon Seol-Ah!
“It’s been quite some time since I founded my company, but I apologize for only meeting you now.”
“Ot.”
“That’s what she wants to say, I think,” Seol-Yoon translated.
‘I doubt it. She just seems scared and shy.’
Seol-Ah didn’t look well.
She had the expression of a debtor being dragged into an illegal loan shark’s den.
Minhee even started wondering, ‘Do I really look that scary?’
Since there was no helping it, the conversation’s reins naturally fell into Seol-Yoon’s hands.
‘How can two sisters be so different?’
Seol-Yoon was brimming with confidence, while Seol-Ah was completely timid.
Seol-Yoon was a tall, elegant beauty, whereas Seol-Ah looked like a child pretending to be an adult.
And to top it off, there was something subtly unsettling about Seol-Yoon…
Something, Something, Something, Something, Something.
Seol-ah had come out fully prepared for battle, completely disguised.
Then, naturally, wouldn’t it be fair to suspect that Seol-yoon had also pulled some kind of scam?
Logically speaking, does it even make sense for a face and body like that to exist in reality?
But Min-hee had a strong gut feeling.
If she doubted Seol-yoon or made her feel bad, something terrifying—something unknown—was bound to happen.
Was it just her imagination, or was there a subtle madness in Seol-yoon’s eyes?
She spoke in a kind and polite manner, but there was something off about her. Something. Something. Something unsettling. Something, something, some—7…
‘Maybe I’m overreacting? Stop thinking weird things. That’s rude.’
It must just be her sharp, fox-like eyes and overwhelming beauty making Min-hee overthink.
Min-hee had no idea that inside one of Seol-yoon’s coat pockets was a stun gun and in the other, a can of pepper spray.
Both were dangerous enough to require a permit, but whether she would ever find out about them was another story.
As everyone sat at the table—
‘Her seated height just dropped dramatically! Just how long are her legs!?’
The second reason Seol-ah’s shoe lifts were obvious—her torso was too short.
Even though they were at a restaurant where they didn’t have to take off their shoes, it was immediately noticeable the moment she sat down.
This person is short.
Min-hee had to tense all the muscles in her face to hold back her laughter.
She couldn’t laugh. She had to protect Seol-ah’s dignity…?
“T-tell her I’m sorry… for being weird.”
Meanwhile, Seol-ah whispered cautiously to Seol-yoon.
But Seol-yoon didn’t deliver the message as it was.
“No! My sister isn’t weird at all! Right, Min-hee?”
“Yes!”
“With a face this pretty, anything she does is just a special trait or a concept! Right, Min-hee?”
“I completely agree!”
“O…”
“You’re the best, sis!”
“Long live Lady Seol-ah!”
‘Are they bullying me!?’
For reference, one part of the Jeon Jeon-seol (Legendary Streamer) workforce—editor Kim Young-sang—had been excluded from this gathering because he was a man and might fall for Seol-ah.
If he had a problem with it, he should’ve been born as a woman. Or, you know, transitioned.
“Here is your appetizer.”
After a brief chat, the high-end Hanwoo omakase meal began.
Under normal circumstances, Min-hee would never pay for such a luxury!
It was only because someone else was treating that she got to experience this extravagant course meal.
‘I never realized it before, but I must have saved a country in my past life.’
A cute boss—oh, wait, she was the boss.
A happy work life under an adorable, wealthy streamer.
She only had to go into the office once or twice a week, and the rest was all remote work.
There wasn’t much work to do, but the salary was great, and now she even had the chance to meet the legendary streamer.
On top of that, she got to eat high-end Hanwoo omakase, something she had never dreamed of experiencing.
If she hadn’t saved a country in her past life, none of this would make sense.
That’s what Min-hee firmly believed.
She had completely forgotten about one editor who kept commuting to the office unnecessarily, hoping to catch a glimpse of Jeon Jeon-seol or work alongside the beautiful CEO Min-hee.
Editor Kim Young-sang, keep fighting!
If you work hard enough, you might meet Lady Seol-ah… or not. But still, keep going!
‘I can’t even tell if I’m eating or inhaling this food.’
“Sis, that’s not your mouth, that’s your nose.”
“Ack!”
No wonder the scent had been so vivid.
If Seol-yoon hadn’t stopped her, she might have actually stuffed food up her nose.
Min-hee burst out laughing at the sight.
“Pfft! Lady Seol-ah, you have a great sense of humor.”
Excuse me, that wasn’t a joke.
She had genuinely almost shoved food up her nose.
That would have been incredibly embarrassing.
Whew, that was close.
‘Wait, did she just call her Lady Seol-ah? Did I mishear that?’
Who even calls someone “Lady” these days?
Yeah, she must have heard it wrong.
‘I just want to go home!’
She had chosen this job specifically to avoid going outside, but in the end, it wasn’t possible to stay home forever.
She could talk just fine with convenience store clerks or movie theater employees.
But for some reason, chatting with the security guards at her apartment complex felt so much harder.
Maybe it was because those were ongoing relationships. That kind of lasting connection still felt so overwhelming.
But—
‘This must be a step forward, right?’
She couldn’t make her family worry about her forever, after all.
‘And it looks like my disguise hasn’t been found out. Maybe this is actually pretty high quality?’
Maybe it was because winter clothing was so bulky.
This disguise might actually be more convincing than she expected!
She was starting to feel a little more confident.
So this is why knights suit up before heading into battle!
She knew deceiving others was wrong.
But without this armor, she wouldn’t have the courage to face anyone—so please, forgive her just this once.
