Blood Elves and Vampires

Chapter 681,473 words13 min read

“The Bloodkin possess the ability to create Blood Elves. Any drop of their blood, when it falls to the ground and is nurtured by magic, will eventually give birth to a Blood Elf.”

Xi Xue paused, her explanation concluded for the moment.

Under Ruobing’s bewildered gaze, Xi Xue wrapped an arm around her waist and pressed a kiss to her forehead.

Still not satisfied, she playfully nipped at Ruobing’s soft, rosy lips.

Only when a sense of contentment settled over her did Xi Xue finally stand, moving towards an open space within the bedroom.

“I’ll give you a demonstration,” Xi Xue said, a smile gracing her lips.

Her fingernail sliced across her palm, and blood immediately welled forth, tracing a path down her hand before dripping onto the floor.

Then, she channeled her magic.

The blood on the ground began to expand and transform at a visible rate, seemingly coalescing into a humanoid shape.

Lan Ruobing watched the unfolding changes in astonishment, her gaze shifting to Xi Xue’s palm with a pang of concern.

‘Doesn’t that hurt?’

‘It looked painful even to her!’

Yet, Xi Xue hadn’t even flinched when she cut her palm. It was as if her pain resistance had been maxed out.

“The strength and size of a Blood Elf depend on their master’s power, will, and the quantity of blood used to create them.”

“The stronger the master, and the purer and greater the amount of blood they provide, the more powerful the Blood Elf will be upon creation.”

As Xi Xue spoke, her fingers danced, causing the pool of blood to fluctuate in size—now expanding, now shrinking.

One moment, it sprouted bat wings, a tail, and horns; the next, it shed them all, appearing much like a regular elven maiden.

Eventually, growing tired of the game, it settled into the form of a one-point-two-meter tall loli-shaped blood mass with pointed ears.

Lan Ruobing was profoundly shaken by the sight, marveling at its wonder.

“The size and form of a Blood Elf are entirely up to the master’s will.”

“However, no matter how a master creates them, Blood Elves possess an unchangeable characteristic: silver hair, crimson eyes, and pointed ears.”

“Therefore, when you encounter a white-haired individual with crimson eyes, be cautious, for they might try to drain your blood.”

Lan Ruobing nodded, diligently noting it down in her mental notebook.

“In summary, Blood Elves are born from the blood of the Bloodkin. However, the magical catalyst for their birth doesn’t necessarily have to be performed by the master.”

“Simply put, as long as there is Bloodkin blood and a certain amount of magic, a Blood Elf can be born.”

“So, you must be careful in the future. If you ever kill a member of the Bloodkin, make sure to utterly annihilate them, burning every drop of their blood clean!”

“Otherwise, the Blood Elves born from their blood might harbor resentment, secretly cultivate, and eventually seek revenge for their master.”

Lan Ruobing stared at Xi Xue, utterly bewildered.

‘What was Xi Xue doing?’

‘Was she telling her how to eliminate future troubles when killing the Bloodkin? But why would she reveal such things to her? Wasn’t Xi Xue herself Bloodkin? Was it truly wise to expose her secrets to Ruobing like this?’

“Why are you looking at me like that?” Xi Xue asked, gazing at Ruobing with an air of confusion.

Suddenly, a dangerous smile crept onto her face.

“What? Do you want to kill me?!”

Lan Ruobing was startled by Xi Xue’s sudden change in expression and quickly stammered, “No, no, I would never think of pulverizing you to dust—”

“Hmm?!” Xi Xue’s fangs emerged as she licked her red lips.

“I—I mean, w-wah, I wasn’t thinking anything bad! Xi Xue, stop teasing me, you big bully!”

Lan Ruobing realized she had been led astray by Xi Xue and angrily slapped Xi Xue’s chest.

Slap!

Her ample bosom instantly flushed crimson and swayed vigorously.

Both of them were currently unclothed, having not put on pajamas after their bath. They were completely open with each other.

Xi Xue’s wings had retracted, leaving only her glowing red horns and obsidian-like tail visible. Her eyes gleamed like rubies.

“Hahaha, alright, I won’t tease you anymore. I explained how to completely kill the Bloodkin to protect you,” Xi Xue said, chuckling.

“At the same time, I wanted to tell you that not every member of the Bloodkin desires your body like I do. Some might crave your blood, seek to take your life, or even wish to turn you into a thrall, making you their servant.”

“In short, always be careful when you encounter the Bloodkin, understand?”

“Mhm, mhm.” Lan Ruobing nodded her small head repeatedly.

Xi Xue continued with satisfaction, “As I just mentioned, the blood of the Bloodkin can give birth to Blood Elves. If they inject their blood into someone else and use magic to catalyze it, they can transform that person into a Blood Elf, making them their thrall.”

“This is typically only done when the Bloodkin discover someone with significant strength and potential.”

“Furthermore, the Bloodkin have normal body temperatures and can eat standard food, unlike vampires who rely solely on blood to survive.”

“So, you don’t need to worry about me draining you dry or anything, because it’s impossible. My main sustenance is you, but I can also eat regular food.”

Xi Xue explained Ruobing’s fears from earlier that morning about being drained, feigning a slight annoyance. She didn’t want Ruobing to perceive her as such a terrifying creature.

Lan Ruobing felt her heart settle considerably upon hearing this, nodding her small head like a pounding mortar.

‘It was good that she could eat normally; that way, she wouldn’t have to be eaten every single meal.’

Xi Xue smiled and continued, “Now, let’s talk about vampires.”

“Before we discuss vampires, let’s first talk about Blood Elves.”

“Blood Elves are born from the blood of the Bloodkin. Vast numbers of Blood Elves will form tribes, collecting the blood bestowed by their master and fashioning it into a Blood Pool.”

“New Blood Elves will continuously emerge from the Blood Pool.”

“This is how Blood Elves reproduce. Of course, they can also procreate through ‘loving embraces’.”

“Blood Elves inherit most of the Bloodkin’s powers. Their forms will closely resemble the Bloodkin, manifesting bat wings, horns, and tails, while also possessing the ability to consume blood.”

“However, out of reverence for the Bloodkin, they typically do not display their wings, horns, or tails, to show respect and to signify their constant identity as the most loyal servants.”

“Thus, their appearance is very similar to elves, which is why they are called Blood Elves.”

“Blood Elves can have their own thralls. By bestowing their blood and injecting it into other creatures, they can transform those creatures into blood-sucking beings.”

“These are what we commonly refer to as vampires.”

“Consequently, the more powerful a vampire, the more likely they are to develop bat wings. Vampires with excessively high purity will even approach the form of Blood Elves.”

“This is the origin of the bat-winged vampires seen in films and television dramas.”

“However, nature is wondrous.”

“On the Mythical Continent, it is possible for vampires to be born from the buried corpses of the deceased.”

“These vampires, rising from their graves, are typically weaker than those transformed by Blood Elves.”

“But they are all vampires. There is no distinction between the two.”

“Vampires, being an extremely lowly existence among the Bloodkin lineage, cannot eat normally like Blood Elves or true Bloodkin.”

“They require blood to survive.”

“And because they are so lowly, their stomachs are very fragile, unable to tolerate spicy foods like garlic, and their skin is so delicate it cannot withstand sunlight.”

“Their bodies are cold, as if they truly are corpses.”

“They are pitiable creatures with extraordinary abilities.”

“Only by continuously growing stronger, developing bat wings, and increasing their bloodline purity and power, will they be able to live normally like Blood Elves, possessing extremely high resistance and immunity.”

“So, now you understand the difference between me and vampires, right?”

Xi Xue looked at Ruobing, speaking with gravitas.

“That’s why I say I can represent the entire Bloodkin. Because whether they are Blood Elves or vampires, their ultimate origin is the Bloodkin.”

“Their path of strengthening and evolution always moves towards becoming true Bloodkin.”

“They might become angels, or they might become demons. But no matter what, only by ultimately transforming into Bloodkin can they truly represent the Bloodkin.”

“Otherwise, they can only be a part of the lineage.”

“Therefore, vampires cannot represent the Bloodkin, but I can represent the entire Bloodkin race.”

“Understood?”
