On the way back to the unidentified building.
Shine and I boarded the large helicopter and were plagued by Jin’s continued questions.
Shine, who was in a blanket and holding my hand tightly, closed her eyes.
A faint distortion was visible on her sleeping face.
It seemed that she had received considerable shock today.
The aircraft floating in the air shook, showing the blue sky.
A sealed interior where not a single breath of wind came in.
A warm breeze swept through, warming up my skin that had been cooling down.
I touched my slightly flushed cheek and sighed.
“Can’t you tell me now?”
Jin’s gaze was burdensome.
I turned my head away to avoid his gaze.
However, Jin did not give up, and walked to the direction I turned my head and sat down.
The moment our eyes met, he smiled and waved.
I looked at Amy with eyes that needed help.
But she was nodding.
She looked sleepy.
Her tired face did not open her mouth.
While I was holding onto Shine’s hand tightly in the blanket and mumbling, Jin’s voice kept coming, “Please tell me!”
Shine and Amy frowned at Jin’s loud voice.
If Jin kept talking, both of them would definitely wake up.
I slowly opened my mouth while rubbing my tired eyes.
“I did it.”
“You…?”
I nodded silently.
His gaze became even more burdensome.
I felt like I was suffocating from his sparkling eyes.
“Amy told me not to talk.”
With that, I went into the blanket.
At the end of my glimpse, Jin was looking at me with eyes full of regret.
I ignored him and laid down, pulling the blanket up.
The warmth that had grown warmer because Shine was inside covered my face.
My first outing with everyone had been ruined.
I gritted my teeth as I thought of the people at the lab.
The things that ruined the time I should have been happy.
My mood swings got worse.
My depressed mood started to turn into anger.
Accordingly, a faint light flashed at the tip of my finger.
Pazik-
Startled, I bit my finger in my mouth.
It was because I was worried that the current flowing out of my hand might wake Shine up.
I was wiggling my finger, and I let out a sigh of relief at the ability to quickly sink.
After being struck by lightning from the sky, a strange phenomenon covered my body.
I didn’t know exactly what it meant.
But one thing was certain.
It was that I couldn’t use the same power as before right now.
Rolling my eyes here and there under the blanket, I thought of the names of the techniques I had created this time.
Jeff Spirize Version 2
Lightning Dance, both cute and cool names.
When Shine and Amy woke up, I wanted to explain what had happened and tell them the names of the techniques.
Of course, Rain too.
I heard that she had to be admitted to the hospital, but I nodded, remembering that she would be discharged soon because her injuries were not serious.
After deciding on the name of the technique, I had to think of a name for the state she had changed into earlier.
Lucy also had an incredibly cool transformation mode.
You called that Starlight Mode, the way I was swept up in starlight and fired beams of light at my enemies?
What would I like?
If I could see myself back then through someone else’s eyes, I would have been able to recall my exact appearance.
All I could see back then was my hands wrapped in blue light and my hair floating up into the sky.
Brain Emperor?
It gave off a strong old man vibe.
And it wasn’t a pretty name either, so I rejected this one.
I shook my head quietly.
Lightning Mode?
It seemed like a name that was too hastily made up.
Brain Spirit, Brain God, Swiftness.
Words I had read in books came to mind one after another.
The nicknames of the main characters I read in martial arts novels came to mind and disappeared.
They looked too old.
Old names like Brain God Gangrim and Wind and Trust didn’t suit me.
As I twitched my little fingers and stroked Shine’s palm, I was able to think of a word.
Origin.
Jeff Origin.
That would be good.
I couldn’t help but sigh as I decided on a name and let out a small laugh.
I couldn’t enter that Origin state whenever I wanted.
Lightning in the sky.
That was what I needed.
Or an enormous amount of electricity that could match lightning.
When I get back, I’ll try plugging my chopsticks into an outlet without anyone knowing.
I was half-asleep, wrapped in a blanket, so I could arrive at my destination quickly.
I got out of the helicopter with Amy, who had woken up.
The sun was half-tilted.
The sunset in the sky was dazzling.
“Jeff”
“Huh?”
As I stood there blankly staring at the sky, Amy called out to me.
I turned around and looked at her.
“I’m sorry.”
She apologized to me.
With a face full of regret, it seemed as if tears would fall at any moment.
I shifted my gaze to the side and looked at Shine, who was holding my hand.
Our eyes met without saying a word.
She let go of my hand without saying a word.
I immediately ran to Amy and hugged her.
I buried my face in Amy’s firm abs and asked her, “Why are you sorry?”
“Because I put you in danger…”
I smiled slightly at Amy’s words and stepped back.
The cold wind blew my hair.
“It wasn’t dangerous.”
I answered, spreading my arms wide.
“Army, it was really fun.”
Amy’s face turned sad at my words.
Isn’t this right?
I scratched my cheek and opened my mouth again.
“I was really happy, because it was my first time experiencing something like that.”
I nodded and thought.
I had never been to an amusement park like a theme park.
I couldn’t meet many people, but the memories I had with Amy, Shine, and Rain were very enjoyable.
And I was happy.
“Jeff…”
“Shine will think so too.”
I said and turned to Shine.
Shine, who had been standing there blankly, nodded and opened her mouth to answer.
“I had fun too.”
“Shine”
Amy started to cry at our two answers.
Tears that flowed down silently.
But her face was smiling.
As I stood there with a bewildered expression, Amy quickly ran over.
Amy’s strong arms squeezed my chest to the point where it was suffocating.
“Now that we’ve sorted things out, come up to my room with the kids next time.”
She hugged Shine and me, making it hard to breathe.
“No.”
Jin’s voice could be heard from behind Amy.
However, Amy firmly rejected Jin’s words.
“How long will you continue to do that…”
Right after Jin’s sigh, his words continued.
“You’re too persistent.”
At that moment, Shine, who was in Amy’s arms next to me, muttered softly.
I turned my head and tried to look at Shine.
Maybe it was because we had been together for so long.
I could read the emotions in Shine’s voice to some extent.
She was very upset right now.
I moved my hand and held Shine’s hand tightly.
She flinched and trembled her fingertips, but soon relaxed.
“If you don’t want to, there’s nothing I can do…”
Jin, who had been nagging, suddenly changed his words.
Feeling puzzled, I stuck my head out of Amy’s arms and looked at his face.
He crossed his arms while looking up at the sky with a puzzled expression.
Immediately after that, he scratched his cheek, shook his head, and waved his hand in the air.
“I’ll go back, so open the door.”
As soon as he finished speaking, a huge vortex appeared in the air.
Where is the person with the ability to manipulate that warp?
Since I had never seen him before, I rolled my eyes and scanned the entire rooftop.
“I go first.”
Jin said and entered the large vortex.
A passage leading to an unknown destination.
If I didn’t trust the person with the ability, I wouldn’t show this behavior.
“Shall we go back too?”
Amy laughed vigorously and lifted me and Shine up.
Her short legs dangled and shook.
The sky that caught my gaze seemed excessively cold.
There wasn’t a single cloud.
Maybe I wouldn’t be able to see this sky for quite some time.
Shine muttered as if agreeing with her thoughts.
“Outside is a dangerous place.”
I also agreed with her thoughts.
Amy carried us through the gate.
The moment we passed through the gate perfectly, the cold wind that had been brushing my cheeks disappeared in an instant.
I exhaled the cold air that had filled my lungs.
I returned.
To a safe place.
Amy and Shine were dragged into the bathroom while holding onto each other.
Amy filled a large bathtub with water and threw Shine and me into it.
As the warm heat enveloped my entire body, the fatigue I had forgotten rushed in.
I let go of my tired, melted body.
White hair floating on the water.
Shine, whose face was just as relaxed as mine, was sitting next to me.
“Shine.”
“Yeah.”
“Was I cool?”
Shine didn’t answer my question for a while.
When the warm heat slowly made me feel drowsy, Shine answered.
“Yeah, it was really cool.”
Shine’s voice had sunk a little seriously.
Her gaze was directed at me.
Her eyes were slightly open, but the emotions contained within were powerfully conveyed.
I avoided her gaze and lowered my head.
My flushed face was clearly caused by the water filling the bathtub.
Bubbles-
My half-submerged face.
I took a deep breath in that state, and small bubbles formed.
As I was about to run to the bed after finishing my bath, I found a small iron bar hanging in front of the bathroom door.
What is this?
I looked back, feeling puzzled, and Amy smiled playfully.
“You can’t escape now.”
I turned my head again and touched the iron bar.
It was awkwardly high to jump over.
It didn’t open no matter how hard I shook it.
I looked back at Amy with shocked eyes.
“I need to dry my hair.”
In the end, I was wrapped in a large towel and dragged out by Amy’s arms.
I don’t want to dry my hair.
It’s annoying.
The noise was loud.
But that complaint was short-lived.
As Amy’s soft hands began to stroke my hair, I quickly fell asleep.
After drying my hair and wiping all the moisture off my body, we took out our large dinosaur pajamas and put them on.
Shine, who was sitting on the bed, began to yawn lazily.
The large dinosaur head covering her head fell backwards due to her yawn.
Shine, who had been yawning several times, soon fell onto the bed with a groan.
Looking at her closed eyes, it seemed that she couldn’t withstand the approaching water.
I also laid down next to her and closed my eyes.
“Are you going to sleep?”
“Yes…”
“What about dinner?”
I thought as I slightly opened my eyes at Amy’s words.
However, sleep came first.
I answered while tightly pulling on the dinosaur head hood.
“I’m sleepy…”
At my answer, I heard Amy’s small laugh.
The lights turned off with a faint sound.
A soft darkness descended on the room.
