A Beauty in His Arms

Chapter 7 • 1,409 words • 12 min read

Su Nanxing looked up and unexpectedly met Gu Yanzhou’s gaze behind A-Kai.

His mind went blank, and almost instinctively, he slammed the door shut with a bang.

He leaned against the door, his fingers still gripping the handle, his heart pounding uncontrollably.

He himself couldn’t explain the emotions at that moment—was it the embarrassment of being caught red-handed, the nervousness of suddenly meeting that person’s eyes, or the faint guilt he couldn’t hide?

He had only wanted to tease A-Kai, the slow-witted eldest son, and casually made a joke.

He never expected Gu Yanzhou to be following behind.

Outside the door, driven by an extreme will to survive, A-Kai instinctively shut his eyes tight and bowed his head, wishing he could curl into a ball.

It was just an ordinary conversation between men.

If it had been anyone else, he wouldn’t have cared at all.

There was no strict separation between men and women, and even less concern among the same s*x.

But standing before him was Gu Yanzhou, his top boss whom he dared not offend in the slightest.

And now, he had been caught in a scene that invited wild speculation, as if a deadly pit had been dug right under his feet.

He didn’t even need to look up to imagine Gu Yanzhou’s current rage.

Su Nanxing’s ambiguous remark just now had a powerful impact—anyone who heard it would think the worst.

He had only been diligently doing his job, never once overstepping his bounds, let alone coming late at night and stumbling upon such a private scene.

In Gu Yanzhou’s eyes, this was already a double offense.

If looks could kill, he would have been sliced into a thousand pieces by now, his very bones burned to ashes by that towering fury.

A-Kai clenched his fists and didn’t dare to breathe.

Gu Yanzhou stood still, his face cycling through shades of livid and purple, his knuckles white from clenching.

The rage in his eyes surged so violently it seemed ready to spill over, and the low pressure around him chilled the very air.

After a moment, the door was gently pulled open again.

Su Nanxing had already changed clothes, wearing loose long-sleeved pajamas that covered him completely.

Though a hint of panic lingered in his eyes, he forced himself to appear calm as he gripped the door handle and looked at the two outside.

His voice was soft. “Come in.”

Without a word, Gu Yanzhou strode into the apartment.

The biting cold he carried instantly dropped the temperature inside, pressing down on the air until it was hard to breathe.

A-Kai followed, pushing the suitcase.

But just as the front wheels crossed the threshold, Gu Yanzhou glanced down and firmly placed his foot against the suitcase’s roller, showing no sign of yielding.

A-Kai instantly understood.

He no longer had the right to enter the apartment.

He dared not move and silently let go.

Su Nanxing also caught on.

He reached out, grabbed the suitcase handle, and pulled it inside.

As the door closed behind him, before Su Nanxing could react, Gu Yanzhou grabbed his wrist with a force that threatened to crush his bones and pressed him ruthlessly against the cold door.

He leaned down, his face filled with uncontrollable anger and a dominant possessiveness.

Without hesitation, he kissed him hard.

Su Nanxing felt his lips ache from the kiss.

His back hurt from pressing against the door.

He tried to push the person pressing him away, but it was useless.

The other man was a head taller, his broad chest and shoulders completely covering him, trapping his upper body.

Steeling himself, Su Nanxing bit down on his lips.

As their teeth and lips clashed, a faint taste of blood spread between their tongues.

Gu Yanzhou winced and released his lips.

His deep voice was restrained. “Biting me?”

Su Nanxing gasped, the corners of his eyes reddening.

His voice carried a hint of grievance. “Does it hurt? My back hurts more than yours!”

Gu Yanzhou paused, suddenly remembering that Su Nanxing had wounds on his back.

His heart tightened, and the anger that had clouded his reason instantly receded, replaced by regret.

He lifted Su Nanxing horizontally and carried him into the bedroom.

On his back, faint traces of blood stained the white shirt, stinging Gu Yanzhou’s eyes.

Nervously, he reached out to remove his clothes to check the wounds.

Su Nanxing grabbed his hand, stopping him from unbuttoning the shirt.

“Let go. I’ll apply medicine for you.”

Only then did Su Nanxing release his hand.

Gu Yanzhou’s fingers paused for a moment as he unbuttoned the shirt one by one, his movements extremely gentle.

As the clothes slipped off, he saw the wounds oozing slightly.

His breathing deepened as he forcibly suppressed the emotions stirring within him.

When the cotton swab touched his skin, Su Nanxing shuddered lightly and let out a soft groan.

Gu Yanzhou slowed his movements even more, his fingers tensed.

Without a word, he finished applying the medicine.

Su Nanxing raised his hand to pull up his shirt.

His waist and abdomen tightened, the lean contours clearly visible under the light, every inch of muscle radiating restrained tension—an incredibly seductive sight.

Gu Yanzhou’s Adam’s apple bobbed.

He reached out and grabbed the shirt that was almost at Su Nanxing’s shoulder, causing the fabric to slide back down along the smooth lines of his back.

“Wait.”

His low, restrained voice spoke, and the shirt suddenly slipped down to his waist again.

His large hand covered Su Nanxing’s smooth, fair waist and abdomen.

The calluses on his palm slid an inch at a time over the skin, his thumb pressing firmly into the waist hollow.

Su Nanxing trembled all over, his abdomen tensing as he couldn’t help but let out a soft groan.

Gu Yanzhou, as if given permission, increased the pressure of his hand, his long fingers slowly sliding into the waistband of the pants.

The sudden touch jolted Su Nanxing back to reality.

He quickly grabbed that hand, stopping any further movement.

Gu Yanzhou’s voice was hoarse, tinged with discontent. “Let go!”

Su Nanxing held on tightly, his body tense. “Take it out first.”

Gu Yanzhou chuckled lowly. “If you don’t let go, how can I take it out?”

Su Nanxing’s face flushed, his ears burning red.

Reluctantly, he released his hand.

But before the hand withdrew, it still committed a wicked deed.

Su Nanxing felt all the strength drain from his body, and he lay limply on the bed.

He looked at the man standing by the bed, holding a piece of fabric that belonged to him, and said with a straight face, “It’s dirty. I’ll wash it.”

In the bathroom, the sound of water, groans, and heavy breathing mingled together.

Gu Yanzhou was clearly no longer trying to hide his dirty intentions.

Through the door, the person outside could clearly hear everything inside.

Since his intentions were now out in the open, Gu Yanzhou saw no need to suffer in the guest bedroom.

The 1.5-meter bed was hardly enough for his 188-centimeter frame.

Su Nanxing looked at the man who had unceremoniously lain down beside him, his feelings complicated.

He knew how to flirt, but sleeping with someone… he hadn’t learned that yet.

“Go sleep in the guest room.”

“The bed’s too small. It’s uncomfortable.”

“Then didn’t you sleep there last time?”

Gu Yanzhou turned his head, a playful look in his eyes that Su Nanxing couldn’t quite decipher. “Last time, I didn’t either.”

‘Didn’t either? What did that mean?’

Su Nanxing lay on the bed, unable to sleep, afraid to move.

Though he had just been satisfied, lying next to a man who was perfect in both looks and other aspects inevitably stirred some romantic thoughts.

Gu Yanzhou’s undisguised desire was both dangerous and alluring, like a lurking beast, exuding a thick, aggressive aura.

Almost instinctively, Su Nanxing wanted to get closer, to feel that aura more intensely.

So even when asleep, his body honestly moved closer.

Gu Yanzhou looked down at the person sprawled across him, causing mischief.

Beauty in his arms, he didn’t want to be oblivious to romance.

But if he did anything, he would seem like a beast.

The freshly medicated wounds couldn’t handle any rough treatment.

Still, this was good.

Compared to those elusive dreams and nights of using objects to vent desire, today’s treatment was paradise on earth.
