“To think it’s an incomplete ‘Corridor’ after all… It feels like we’ve been running around in circles for nothing, in every sense of the word.” Ruka sister mused, a long biscuit dangling from her mouth, as she sat across the round table, arms crossed, a somewhat embarrassed bitter smile gracing her lips. 1

“I hadn’t expected it either, truly quite a surprise~” Leidi remarked, gently smoothing her hair before casting a smiling glance in my direction.

‘Honestly, I never would have guessed this was the ‘Corridor’ for Gate Number Four…’

“It feels so different from your ‘Corridor’, Ruka sister…” I commented, taking a sip of the freshly brewed black tea, a slightly awkward smile mirroring hers.

‘So this is the ‘Corridor’ for Gate Number Four, belonging to Leidi and me… It feels incredibly half-baked, doesn’t it? It seems utterly devoid of any practical use.’

‘And now that I think about it, the entire school being suspended was completely Leidi’s and my fault… Moreover, the school even invited shrine maidens and temple monks to perform an exorcism… Heh, should we just play dumb about it? They must have spent a fortune, right?’

In the bathroom, which now resembled a boundless ocean, Leidi, beaming brightly, elucidated the artificially manipulated supernatural phenomena to an astonished Ruka sister and me, along with her daring hypothesis, now confirmed with absolute certainty.

‘Honestly, even if you see it, don’t say it out loud! I wish I could just find a hole to crawl into!’

Leidi, grinning widely, approached me with her arms spread wide!

Scrambling and tumbling, I clambered off the soft sofa and swiftly darted to the side.

“Haha, you’re so cute~” Leidi chuckled, propping herself on the sofa as she watched me.

‘Ugh—! Why can I still hear them so clearly even wrapped in the blanket!’
