Author’s Note: A New Beginning and a Promise

Well, it’s finally on the shelves! I offer a triple bow, then slide to my knees, kowtowing in gratitude!

Who would have thought that a wanderer like me could reach this point?

But this is only the beginning. To repay your immense support, I vow to keep writing, even if it kills me, to deliver an even better experience.

Regarding the upcoming plot, I’m diving into a ‘chasing his wife in a crematorium’ arc. Publicly, Xu Qingzhu will appear as Su Mo’s strict master, diligently guiding his disciple.

In reality, however, he won’t be able to lift his head in front of Su Mo, tormented by regret and an uncontrollable love that he must constantly suppress. His inner turmoil will be quite profound.

You’ll witness how Su Mo turns the tables, ‘abusing’ the male lead in return, and how they eventually stumble and bicker their way to being together.

The process will be a long one, and the emotional push-and-pull is inevitable, but I hope you won’t mind!

Rest assured, I’ll try my best to sprinkle in some sweet moments, and perhaps ‘discipline’ Xu Qingzhu a little along the way.

I must apologize, though, as I haven’t quite managed the plot’s pacing recently, leading to some slow transitions.
